We love this place. There are so many good options from crepes and waffles to Mexican food and sandwiches. We go mostly for breakfast - I love the chicken enchilada omelet when avoiding carbs. The enchilada sauce is homemade and wonderful. The crepes are great - I like the honey or lingonberry ones but my kids love the strawberry banana Nutella crepes. We started going for lunch and like it - I'm not usually a fan of menudo but really liked it here. Service is amazing - they get busy but are always checking in. Love it. read more

I can't believe how disappointed I am in this place. When they opened here so close to our house we were thrilled to have a great new place to get a bite. We came in frequently in those first months. Service was sometimes slow but the food was always delicious. Not long ago they shortened their hours and as such we haven't managed to go in for awhile. Today was an utter disappointment. Service was mediocre (as usual ) but the food was a disaster. My youngest son got grilled cheese and the cheese was barely melted and the fries were bland. My oldest got machaca and the portion looked small and his beans were ice cold. Husband got chorizo and eggs which would have been good if any of his food was hot. I got the honey lemon crepes (usually a favorite) bacon was greasy and it and the eggs were luke warm at best. My hash browns were good and hot. My crepes had clearly sat under a lamp because I could have drawn a circular map of where they were actually warm. We had to send my son's iced tea back because it tasted strange and the coke wasn't even quite right. We had somewhere to be and didn't have time to ask for hot food (and shouldn't have to!) we ate what we could and I went to pay. Waiting for the manager at the register to ask how it was for the opening to mention the shortcomings but he didn't bother to ask. It will be a very long time before we venture in again - if at all. Used to be a favorite - not even close to worth the more than $60 we spent here. read more

We are regular customers of the Bellflower location so we're excited about the Lawndale site. Came on Sunday morning, waited about 10 min to be seated (not bad). Ordered soon thereafter and were told by server Jeanie that kitchen was "running behind" after my husband asked that my son's kids meal come with pancakes on separate plate (literally involved an extra plate....how is that impacted my kitchen being busy?) It's been nearly 40 min and still no food or even coffee refill. Food finally arrived about 45 min in, in true Loaded fashion the food was good. Asked waiter for napkins and coffee refill, came back without either...instead the bill. Our card down an THAT she took care of promptly within a couple of minutes. Will never return, we will gladly drive extra miles to go to the Bellflower location where we are treated well, not like a nuisance. read more

I had been wanting to check this local restaurant out for a while now, but hadn't because several people, including my sister, told me that service is slow I had time to check it out this morning. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because our food took long to come out, also there wasn't a hostess available to sit us right away, considering it was practically empty, these areas can use some help. I ordered crepes and made it a combo for like $12 or $13 bucks, I don't remember. My aunt ordered steak with onion and mushrooms combo. We had water to drink, total check was about $30, which I thought was a little pricey, but I didn't mind because our food was DELICIOUS If you're so hungry to the point of being hangry, I wouldn't recommend this place because it will be a bit of a wait, but if you have the patience to hang in there, this place will satisfy your cravings. So many options. I'll definitely be coming back, in the near future, hoping that service is much faster. Oh!! This place is clean, cute and the staff members are friendly! read more

The service was good. The food was expensive for what you get. But the receipt does not tell you want the cost of your food was. Otherwise no breakdown of your order. So you are not sure if you were charged correctly. I have been given someone else check before , and knew right away it was a mistake, here you don't know. Well, well, I was at Loaded Cafe. Tuesday afternoon. Very very disappointed. This was my second time coming to this place. I was pleased with my services the first time. I had a pleasant server. Repeated my order and was very cheerful. My sever this time was awful and disrespectful. Talk to another server about my daughter in Spanish not knowly that we understand Spanish. Went in today, thanksgiving morning, knowing it was going to be busy. We ordered a lot of food. Did not expect to receive above and beyond service because of the amount of people that were there. The manager Martin was very polite and overall a great person who cares about his customers. The waitresses were very nice and greeted us and kept us updated on our food. Food was finished faster than expected and the quality of the food was good. Overall this place is a great place to go to if you're looking for a fast and good quality food with employees who actually care about their customers, really recommend it. Good job guys! read more

The staff is so friendly! Food takes a little longer than most restaurants but it's worth the wait! Their fresh juices are also good and worth every cent! Though it can be a bit overwhelming, I love the variety in their menu! I truly hope the quality of food never changes!
