The food here is pretty good, tons of option on the menu. My biggest issue with this restaurant is the service. Two weeks in a row I have ordered on their web site, last week the order was wrong, this week, they never even started the order...they forgot to look at the tablet. I don't write reviews often - and certainly not negative ones, but I was pretty disappointed with my 2nd visit here. I had a decent first experience with my son, so I decided to take the whole family this time. What I realized on my 2nd trip was how expensive this place actually is for what you get. Portions are pretty small (definitely not "Loaded") but prices are similar if not more than places like The Pan or restaurants closer to the beach. Our bill for 4 people (2 kids) came out to $90 with tip. That's not a great deal for this type of food and general location. Also - Yelp advertised a 20% off deal for all orders. The waitress (who wasn't very friendly to begin with) told me that it was for just take-out orders. She didn't sound very confident about that - and refused to ask anyone else working there...even though nothing on Yelp said "take-out orders" only. I didn't want to argue with her about it, so I just accepted it and left. If the waitress was correct, then the advertising is very misleading and needs to be changed. I really wanted to like this place and add it to our rotation because I like the menu and the overall vibe is laid-back...but after this visit, I can't justify returning. read more

I'm not sure where all the great review are coming from. Girl at the register was busy packing food and chatting with another waitress while no one was at the "check in" podium. Good thing she had a great memory and relayed everyone's order to the manager. The menu is so extensive we were just so confused on what to get. My daughter decided on the waffle with strawberries and bananas, my son the chocolate chip pancakes w scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and sausage, my husband the menudo and I decided on a biscuit no butter and honey; thank goodness. My daughter wasn't to thrilled with her waffle and ate the fruit. My son loved his chocolate chip pancakes but left the sausage and bacon; I realized it was because they just tasted of grease. My husbands menudo just looked nasty as soon as it was put in front of him. The coloring was off and the tripe looked incredibly mushy and slimy. This is total sign of being frozen and reheated to brink of destruction. My biscuit was reheated on the grill with butter so without the honey you could taste the burnt butter on my biscuit. Guess we're still looking for a good breakfast spot with good coffee. read more

Food was okay, service was okay, visit was alright I guess this was my second visit to this place and my last. There are plenty of food places around here that's better in my opinion. The food came out Luke warm, what I ordered wasn't exactly done correctly like my over medium eggs (look at all that yoke) my country potatoes was suppose to be crispy my pancakes well one of them wasn't exactly cooked all the way through. Idk I will not be visiting this place anymore should've went to Denny's. Oh not to mention the girl brought us the check about 15-20 mins into our meal like she couldn't wait til we were done eating to bring us the check! Idk that def made me feel sum kinda way. But hey you live and you learn definitely won't be coming here anymore. My first experience was when this place BARELY opened up like not even a week so I understood why things didn't go perfect. Make sure to review your bill, my last visit a few weeks ago we were overcharged by ~ $40. We were being treated by a friend so we did not pay and didn't realize the extent of the overcharge until after leaving. We calculated our bill a few times based on the menu prices and what we ordered, and came to the conclusion that we had been way overcharged. I think they probably charged us for someone else's table. In the end the waitress probably took the money as a large tip and nobody noticed, maybe it was intentional, maybe a mistake, who knows. Review your receipt and make sure it's correct. Aside from that the chilaquiles I ordered were delicious, Price was high for this item, portions could have better on the actual chips because it's not an expensive dish to make or add more chips, carne asada topping was portioned well with good taste, sauce was excellent despite it not being a traditional style sauce. read more

I tried this place for the first time today and got it delivered through DoorDash. I ordered the chicken enchilada omelette and I got a breakfast burrito for my bf. His burrito was very good (better be for almost $20!) but my omelette had ONE SHRED OF CHICKEN! ONE! I was so disappointed... the sauce was just alright but the fact that I paid that much for the omelette and all I got was eggs and sauce, turned me off from this place. Save your money.
