What a fun and sweet little old fashioned ice cream parlor this is! We took my little granddaughter here for a sugar cone lunch and you never saw a happier little one. Loards is a sure cure for the terrible two's! I adventured and tried one of their ube flavors- very neon purple and delicious! My daughter had a different ube flavor which was neon green and she was also a happy camper. What can I say? Ice cream lunch is good.

Had a great time taking Kate and Will for a special ice cream treat. Great service and tons of choices!

My kids like it there and my grandson too. I like the banana split. Nice people. Oh and Rick always gets the peppermint. He also buys the half gallon to take home to his freezer. It's fun here and the parking is good. Well it's covid so it is pretty much good anywhere. Hahaha

This is the only ice cream store I have ever found myself returning to as a habit--nowhere else comes close. I highly, highly recommend this place. I bring all of my friends here. Service is fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The employees are a little too quiet for my taste, but it's not a big deal. It's a small little hallway of a spot, but really great ice cream.

It was just TOOOOOO GOOD!…read more I've been living here for two years and haven't been able to go back to Thailand because of my health. Flying is difficult for me, so when I found out this place had Thai-inspired ice cream flavors, of course I had to try it. The owners were so nice and friendly. You can sample up to three flavors, which I think is very reasonable. Please be considerate, though--don't ask to try every flavor and then buy only one scoop. I sampled two flavors before deciding. I ordered a double scoop with Mango Sticky Rice and Blue Jasmine & Passion Fruit Swirl. My husband got Ube Crunchy Malt and a Yakult flavor. I forgot the full name of the Yakult one, but I think it was seasonal. The Mango Sticky Rice was so good that I had to buy a pint home. Since moving here, this is honestly one of the best homemade ice cream shops I've tried. A solid 10/10 for me! Maybe it's because I have Thai taste buds, but I don't like ice cream that is overly sweet. I'm not judging American-style ice cream--it's just usually way too sweet for me. The flavors here were perfectly balanced, and I could actually taste everything without the sweetness overpowering it. This review is longer than usual because I really loved this place. I finally found my new regular ice cream shop, and I'll definitely be coming back again and again. The shop itself is small and doesn't have a lot of seating, but it's cute and cozy. I'm already thinking about what flavor I want to try next! PS the owner told me Hot chocolate is coming in Nov-Jan, I have to come back for it

They own an apartment in Paris and I didn't want to offend them with my usual guerrilla tactics. I'm known to fight dirty and conspire with others during this game and everybody hates me because of it, and I didn't want to be banned from their apartment, as Paris in the fall is lovely. Thus my journey with Walter began. One thing about me, is I respect a place that knows flavors. I don't want basic vanilla, give me some weird and strange and flavorful that will tantalize my palette and ignite my senses. Give me salty and sweet. Give me TANG. Give me these things and DONT give me gas. Bad Walters cracked the code. All flavor, real dairy, no lactose, no gas. Each week they have a different batch of flavors, so there's always something new to explore. There's like 6 flavors to choose from at once and they let me try them all before I selected my choice hehe. I tried to sample 6 flavors at Cold Stone and they took me out back and shot me, but here, nobody was mean to me. Mr. Potatohead is the flavor I landed on--brown sugar custard with peanut butter swirl and chocolate covered potato chips. The chunks of chocolate covered potato chips were lodged in the ice cream and I felt like an archaeologist excavating ancient rocks as my spoon lifted the potato chocolate chunks out of the creamy custard into my mouth. I bought a pint. The Mick Jagger was another joy, with its salty caramel and Oreo chunks. They're lucky Peaches Christ was sold out because I might've lost my mind for a peach cobbler ice cream! They wouldve had to drag me out by the back of my neck like a rabid dog! Maybe next time. All in all, tasty ice cream. Would recommend.

We have been extremely loyal customers ever since. They rotate flavors, but through many months and many visits I don't think I've ever tried a bad one. The flavors are also very fun, not your typical cookies and cream, cookie dough, etc. Although they do have a plain version sometimes. The employees are very helpful and kind letting you sample the flavors. Our absolute favorite is tinky winky- ube flavored ice cream with honey comb pieces. They also sell points to the side- take advantage. You'll want more when you're done! The ambiance and vibe of bad Walter's is perfect. Bright colors, disco ball dripping, fun sayings on the cups, the whole 9 yards. The take home pint we got has Reddit "hate" comments and their responses, it's hilarious. This ice cream store is way more of a vibe than any marketing agent could dream of. Who would've thought I wish I could be a rep for an ice cream company? Oh and they also do a stamp card when you buy pints to get a free scoop. You bring in the containers so they can recycle them. It's a win win for both sides, loves it. Best ice cream ever!!!

I came back a second time before a show at Crybaby, a smaller venue across the street. Grabbing a scoop here to-go has naturally become part of my pre-concert routine at this point and I plan to come back again next time to explore more flavors.
