My best friend and I were craving ice cream and this was her first time at Lottie's Creamery. We sampled several mouth watering flavors and both decided on the dark chocolate and she kept raving about how creamy and smooth their ice cream is! The staff are kind and patient, and I appreciate their organized system of moving the customer over to the checkout counter to make room for customers to sample, ask questions from the staff, and more where the ice cream, wall menu, and entrance are located. The small seating bench area by the window gives a feel of many old school creameries I have fond memories of when I was a kid. The line that I've seen out the door many times here is a testimony to Lottie's Creamery's popularity and top of the line ice cream and desserts!

You can try any flavor before committing. They always have one or two vegan choices. The service is always top notch. Go and enjoy a sweet treat you will not be disappointed!
A lovely shop serving ice cream, sandwiches sundae's and cakes they also have ice cream floats. We tasted a few flavors before deciding our picks I had vanilla bean English toffee that was delicious my companion chose Turkish coffee flavor which was also delicious. The people behind the counter were super welcoming and helpful. You do have to pay for parking at all times 7 days a week since the meter maids writing tickets are very good at catching everyone! You've been warned.
It's ice cream that's creamy so what's not to like. I liked the fact they have both mini double and double so if you don't have a big appetite you can order mini double for two flavors. I enjoyed every flavor I had there especially the dark chocolate which is very rich and flavorful. The place is cozy and old school and although it only has a bench for eating indoors it's good enough. Service is good enough for ice cream parlor and decor is very old fashioned which fits the theme. It's on the main street so perfect for a quick stroll after dinner here.
My favorite ice cream spot in Walnut Creek and my go to for years. It is so creamy and delicious my go to favorite is salted caramel but today they had tiramisu and I love tiramisu oh so heavenly on a warm spring day.

Thin brownie on the bottom, and mint chocolate chip ice cream and crunchies throughout. It's that fresh mint flavor, and it was pretty good. Nicely decorated, along with an ice cream cone and scoop on top. The second ice cream cake we tried from Lottie's was a vanilla one. Same crunchies and brownie bottom. My son and I weren't a fan of the brownie portion, but we liked the rest of it. Beautifully decorated as well. They provided a happy birthday decor for the cake. Will def come back once a while and prob place a cake order in advance to guarantee specific flavors.

I loved the prominent bourbon notes in the bourbon almond fudge, but the standout here is the vanilla salted almond toffee - the vanilla snacks you in the face and the toffee is exceptionally buttery and toasty from the cooked almonds. Love that they are open till 11 pm on the weekends, too!
There are many interesting and unique ice cream flavors that I didn't know what to choose! Luckily, we were allowed to sample any flavor we wanted. The staff also, described the flavor of the ice cream and what was in it which I thought was helpful. The scoops are huge and the taste was amazing. I will definitely come back to try more of the different options and maybe grab a pint too.

I'm not sure why all the negative reviews. Perhaps customer service improved, as I had zero issues during my visit. The staff was super helpful and patient, offered many samples, and gave recommendations. The ice cream was pretty good, not the best I've had, but it still hit the spot.
I got one scoop of vanilla bean ice cream in a cup. Although it was very creamy and good quality in my opinion, the flavors were absolutely odd and nothing caught my eye. I ended up just going with vanilla because everything else sounded gross. There were no standard ice cream flavors available like cookie dough, cookies & cream, chocolate, etc. There was like lemon custard, honey. I wouldn't come back because of this and would rather try something else in the area, but if you like odd ball flavors, this place is for you
Found street parking nearby and came by for dessert a little after 9pm. There wasn't anyone in the small shop when we arrived, so we took our time to look over the flavor options. While debating between all the different options, I noticed how they had little colored stickers on all the flavor signs for those with food sensitivities/allergens/restrictions, which was great! I sampled both the orange blossom honey and milk tea + biscuits, and while I enjoyed both, I really enjoyed the tea flavor in the milk tea + biscuits as well as the crumbly texture of the biscuits so I decided to go for that one. Many of my friends also opted for that flavor as well, and I'd definitely recommend it. Service overall was pretty standard, and I don't live close enough to the area to see myself coming back, but if you're close by and looking for an ice cream shop to check out, you might like this one!
This is one of our favorite places for ice cream. I ordered the mocha almond fudge and it did not disappoint. It was creamy chocolate with crunchy almonds. I also ordered their salted butter rice crispy treat which I'm hooked on. It's buttery marshmallow good with a light crunch. The service is pretty quick even when there's a line outside. Staff works the line pretty fast. Ambiance is small with one bench only inside for sitting. Cold water is on table for customers. Parking is all meter parking in front, on the side, and in the back of the center too. We walk here as parking can be hard to find. read more

Unfortunately, I have to eat dairy-free right now, but thankfully, Lottie's offers not one, but two non-dairy options! It was my first time visiting, surprisingly, as I've walked by it plenty of times and I've heard good things. Our son wanted to get ice cream in an ice cream shop, so I looked some up online and I was happily surprised that Lottie's had non-dairy flavors and not just one flavor. The shop offers a very delicious Darkest Chocolate (which was vegan) and Pear Prosecco Sorbet. I tried both flavors and ended up sharing the chocolate flavor with our son. I'm not a chocolate ice cream fan, but this flavor was delicious! The ice cream is handmade in small batches. Plus, they offer ice cream cake as well. There's another shop in Danville too. I enjoyed my ice cream, but I wish there was more seating options. read more
Stopped here for dessert on a Thursday after 9pm and surprisingly it was still open. The lady helping us was very friendly and we were able to try some ice cream. We didn't feel rushed at all. I tried the Ethiopian coffee ice cream and it was ao creamy and good. read more

Stopped by for a sweet treat after dinner and was happy with the unique selection of ice cream. I went for the honeycomb flavor and it was probably the best tasting ice-cream I've tried in a while- wish I opted for a double instead of single scoop LOL. Stumbles upon this hole in the wall while walking the streets of Walnut Creek. Baby had a taste for ice cream and this place didn't disappoint. Be prepared to pay $7 for this little cup. Overall a good experience. read more
I'll keep it simple and say I love Lottie's. Even the most repulsive (to me) sounding flavors end up being so tasty (looking at you, lemon marshmallow!). My fav combos so far are the brown butter pb&j with Santa Rosa plum sorbet and roasted strawberry and matcha candied kumquat! I really like the orange blossom honey too cause it reminds me of a jasmine tea but I don't have a great pairing for to get lol I always get a mini double scoop ~7.50 which is technically shareable size but I'm ice cream greedy so I don't. I want both flavors all to myself. Recommend getting it in a cup w a sugar cone on top. Perfection and no rush to eat it quickly. Gotta savor every delicious bite. It's a tiny shop w one bench for seating but there is usually room if u wanna sit for a bit. Paid street parking is pretty cheap and u can pay with app, cc or coins so it's really easy. Service is totally hit and miss here. Nobody is rude but some people are so awesome and others come off like they're counting the minutes to get outta there. It's fine either way but it makes me extra happy when chatting w ppl excited about the product they're selling and that I'm already excited for! read more
Ice cream is my love language and something my family and I can all agree on. So after lunch, when my Pop asked if I wanted to get ice cream, I was all in! We found Lottie's off of Yelp. Since we don't venture to Walnut Creek much, it was the closest ice cream shop to us and boy was it memorable. The shop itself is cute, vibrant, and quaint. The menu board boasts a variety of flavors (vegan and dairy), fun sandwiches and floats, as well as different scoop sizes. What amazes me is that they make everything by hand with local and organic ingredients right in the back of their shop--which they're proud of! Service by all that helped us was sweet. They went the extra mile to make our request a reality. We appreciated their kindness and patience. I don't eat dairy so it's hard to find traditional ice cream for me. I admire Lottie's for offering vegan flavors. After sampling, I knew I had to get both! I got a Mini Double with Strawberry Rose Sorbet and Darkest Chocolate. The sorbet was bursting with flavor--sweet and refreshing. The darkest chocolate was exceptionally creamy and chocolate-forward. Paired together was heavenly! My Pop enjoyed his ice cream on a complimentary sugar cone. We also bought a pint to take home! Ice cream lovers on this side of the East Bay need to venture out to Lottie's! This truly is the perfect shop for all ages and palettes. Find their charming little shop off N Main St. with metered parking in the area. I'll be back if I'm in Walnut Creek on a warm day! read more
It's very clean. When we arrived, the owner was outside with a wet rag, wiping white cobwebs from his windows and doorways. I don't think I've ever seen that detail attention at a small business before it was very nice. Inside we were instantly greeted by two smiling faces of a couple young ladies one who is very new and another young lady, and I got their names in for the life of me. I can't find the piece of paper I wrote them on. But they were so customer service oriented. Engage the owner a little bit while he passed through the room and told him that I really like the fact that he not only has an extra strategic imperative of having quality locally sourced pure products to add to his ice cream. The differences when you eat the ice cream, there's a silkiness to it and a high level of flavors that is comfortable in your mouth and reminiscent of all the old days. Samples were offered and gladly taken, and we had a selection of many flavors that we didn't normally get to have at home. They were very happy to let us sample and package up what we wanted as well as adding a couple cones to eat then and there. The young ladies were very accommodating. After leaving with her take home ice cream for later we thought about the experience and realized that we had perfect customer service from door-to-door coming and going. Thank you ladies and thank you sir for taking some of that 100° heat off our afternoon and giving us something so delicious. read more

Great flavor selection, kind staff. I got the fresh mint chip in a waffle cone. Really enjoyed the real mint flavor and the waffle cone was perfectly crisp. Perfect spot to grab a sweet treat after dinner in the area. There's metered street parking all around (it is free after 8 pm in the area we parked) and also a few garages in the area that offer free parking for an hour. read more

After a long hiatus, I came back here today for ice cream before going to Kaiser which is a couple minutes away. I tried three different flavors, roasted strawberry, vanilla bean and candied kumquat. Surprisingly the candied kumquat had the best flavor and texture. It was very dense and creamy. The kumquat had a very nice citrus flavor. Very intense citrus flavor. The tartness of the kumquat partnered very well with the sweetness candied fruit. This is why I like Lotti's. They always have special flavors that you can't find anywhere else. Will come back again in the future to try new flavors. Summertime is the best time to have ice cream. read more

Some standouts include Earl Gray, Bourbon White Chocolate Crisp, and Mint Chocolate. Only downside is there's little to no seating in or outside the store. There was no line and we walked right up. We must have gone on an off day because the staff wasn't welcoming or friendly. We barely got a Hello from the girl up front. Seems the flavors rotate. I would've liked to have tried the honey lavender but it was not a flavor of the day. We were not asked if we wanted to sample any flavors or if we had any questions but I did ask for a sample of the strawberry cheesecake. Maybe I would've tried a different sample but again, the girl's vibe wasn't welcoming and felt like she wanted me to hurry up. I got a single scoop of that one. The cheesecake bits were a little tough and dry once I bit into them. The ice cream part was good. My husband also got a single scoop of the mint chocolate chip, his favorite flavor of all time. I liked that it wasn't tinted green but rather a white-ish color so I gather it is the natural color. The single scoop was a good size. There was a bench seat inside (occupied) and no other seating from what I recall. So we walked around with our ice creams. read more

I really liked the sweet tartness of this flavor - Carrot Cake: I'm not sure if it was because I had a tart flavor before or if it was just this flavor, but I wasn't a huge fan - Orange Blossom Honey: got a sample of this one as I was intrigued by the name.
