This is one of our favorite places for ice cream. I ordered the mocha almond fudge and it did not disappoint. It was creamy chocolate with crunchy almonds. I also ordered their salted butter rice crispy treat which I'm hooked on. It's buttery marshmallow good with a light crunch. The service is pretty quick even when there's a line outside. Staff works the line pretty fast. Ambiance is small with one bench only inside for sitting. Cold water is on table for customers. Parking is all meter parking in front, on the side, and in the back of the center too. We walk here as parking can be hard to find. read more

There were many to choose from, and I'm so glad I overheard the other customers ahead of us saying that the vanilla salted almond toffee flavor was what they are known for. We ended up getting that flavor as one of our two. For our second flavor of two scoops, we ended up getting the marshmallow neapolitan. -Vanilla salted almond toffee: I can see what the other customers meant for "this is what they're known for." I love that the almond is candied/carmelized with toffee. It gives it a roasty flavor, which gives the flavor so much depth. The almond also gives a bit of crunch/texture, which makes this flavor so unique. -Marshmallow neapolitan: I'm not typically someone who likes marshmallows or goes for neapolitan, as I don't like super sweet and I don't like mixing flavors. You can definitely taste all 3 flavors--vanilla, chocolate, strawberry. The marshmallow doesn't make the ice cream as sweet as I would have thought, it really just adds the marshmallow texture. The ice cream is very thick and creamy. It doesn't melt too fast to meld all the flavors together (which I don't really like), and I really appreciate that the ice cream holds together so well! The gentleman helping us was very patient in letting us try several flavors. The shop had a more old time feel. There is a bench to sit on to eat for a bit, but no tables. The staff are kind and patient, and I appreciate their organized system of moving the customer over to the checkout counter to make room for customers to sample, ask questions from the staff, and more where the ice cream, wall menu, and entrance are located. There are many interesting and unique ice cream flavors that I didn't know what to choose! Luckily, we were allowed to sample any flavor we wanted. While debating between all the different options, I noticed how they had little colored stickers on all the flavor signs for those with food sensitivities/allergens/restrictions, which was great! I sampled both the orange blossom honey and milk tea + biscuits, and while I enjoyed both, I really enjoyed the tea flavor in the milk tea + biscuits as well as the crumbly texture of the biscuits so I decided to go for that one. Many of my friends also opted for that flavor as well, and I'd definitely recommend it. I've been here twice and both times the ice cream was delicious. There are many unique flavors and you get very big scoops. They also have allergens labeled which is very nice. There's some free water and there's a bench inside to wait on or sit on while eating your ice cream. It's a little awkward sitting there if you're with a larger group, but only if everyone sits down. My fav combos so far are the brown butter pb&j with Santa Rosa plum sorbet and roasted strawberry and matcha candied kumquat! I really like the orange blossom honey too cause it reminds me of a jasmine tea but I don't have a great pairing for to get lol I always get a mini double scoop ~7.50 which is technically shareable size but I'm ice cream greedy so I don't. I want both flavors all to myself. Recommend getting it in a cup w a sugar cone on top. Perfection and no rush to eat it quickly. Gotta savor every delicious bite. It's a tiny shop w one bench for seating but there is usually room if u wanna sit for a bit. Paid street parking is pretty cheap and u can pay with app, cc or coins so it's really easy. The sorbet was bursting with flavor--sweet and refreshing. The darkest chocolate was exceptionally creamy and chocolate-forward. Paired together was heavenly! It's very clean. When we arrived, the owner was outside with a wet rag, wiping white cobwebs from his windows and doorways. I don't think I've ever seen that detail attention at a small business before it was very nice. Inside we were instantly greeted by two smiling faces of a couple young ladies one who is very new and another young lady, and I got their names in for the life of me. I can't find the piece of paper I wrote them on. But they were so customer service oriented. Engage the owner a little bit while he passed through the room and told him that I really like the fact that he not only has an extra strategic imperative of having quality locally sourced pure products to add to his ice cream. The differences when you eat the ice cream, there's a silkiness to it and a high level of flavors that is comfortable in your mouth and reminiscent of all the old days. Samples were offered and gladly taken, and we had a selection of many flavors that we didn't normally get to have at home. They were very happy to let us sample and package up what we wanted as well as adding a couple cones to eat then and there. The young ladies were very accommodating. After leaving with her take home ice cream for later we thought about the experience and realized that we had perfect customer service from door-to-door coming and going. After a long hiatus, I came back here today for ice cream before going to Kaiser which is a couple minutes away. I tried three different flavors, roasted strawberry, vanilla bean and candied kumquat. Surprisingly the candied kumquat had the best flavor and texture. It was very dense and creamy. The kumquat had a very nice citrus flavor. Very intense citrus flavor. The tartness of the kumquat partnered very well with the sweetness candied fruit. This is why I like Lotti's. They always have special flavors that you can't find anywhere else. There was no line and we walked right up. We must have gone on an off day because the staff wasn't welcoming or friendly. We barely got a Hello from the girl up front. Seems the flavors rotate. I would've liked to have tried the honey lavender but it was not a flavor of the day. We were not asked if we wanted to sample any flavors or if we had any questions but I did ask for a sample of the strawberry cheesecake.
