It's ice cream that's creamy so what's not to like. I liked the fact they have both mini double and double so if you don't have a big appetite you can order mini double for two flavors. I enjoyed every flavor I had there especially the dark chocolate which is very rich and flavorful. The place is cozy and old school and although it only has a bench for eating indoors it's good enough. Service is good enough for ice cream parlor and decor is very old fashioned which fits the theme. It's on the main street so perfect for a quick stroll after dinner here.

Look for the daily flavor of the day board.

My absolute guilty pleasure! A small shop that delivers big time. Inside the shop you have a small area for sitting, water jug and freezers with ice cream pints. You can try any flavor before committing. They always have one or two vegan choices. The service is always top notch. Go and enjoy a sweet treat you will not be disappointed!

A lovely shop serving ice cream, sandwiches sundae's and cakes they also have ice cream floats. We tasted a few flavors before deciding our picks I had vanilla bean English toffee that was delicious my companion chose Turkish coffee flavor which was also delicious. The people behind the counter were super welcoming and helpful. You do have to pay for parking at all times 7 days a week since the meter maids writing tickets are very good at catching everyone! You've been warned.

It's no wonder this place is so popular: the ice creams are next level creamy, almost gelato-like and stretchy and dense and viscous. I loved the prominent bourbon notes in the bourbon almond fudge, but the standout here is the vanilla salted almond toffee - the vanilla snacks you in the face and the toffee is exceptionally buttery and toasty from the cooked almonds. Love that they are open till 11 pm on the weekends, too!

My favorite ice cream spot in Walnut Creek and my go to for years. It is so creamy and delicious my go to favorite is salted caramel but today they had tiramisu and I love tiramisu oh so heavenly on a warm spring day.

There are many interesting and unique ice cream flavors that I didn't know what to choose! Luckily, we were allowed to sample any flavor we wanted. The staff also, described the flavor of the ice cream and what was in it which I thought was helpful. The scoops are huge and the taste was amazing. I will definitely come back to try more of the different options and maybe grab a pint too.

Mostly here for their ice cream cakes. We tried their ice cream scoops and pints before, but found items to either be too expensive ($7 for a scoop), too sweet (holy vanilla!), or something off (so excited for Thai tea ice cream, but it wasn't consistent), but we love their ice cream cakes! Small shop, but tons of flavors here. Service has been fine the several times we've been to Lottie's. They don't have their cakes on display, and we didn't order in advance, so we asked if they had any in stock and they'd tell us the flavors they have available. We usually go elsewhere for ice cream cakes, but Lottie's was convenient a couple times so we spent a bit more on pretty and delicious cakes First one we tried was a mint ice cream cake. Thin brownie on the bottom, and mint chocolate chip ice cream and crunchies throughout. It's that fresh mint flavor, and it was pretty good. Nicely decorated, along with an ice cream cone and scoop on top. The second ice cream cake we tried from Lottie's was a vanilla one. Same crunchies and brownie bottom. My son and I weren't a fan of the brownie portion, but we liked the rest of it. Beautifully decorated as well. They provided a happy birthday decor for the cake. Will def come back once a while and prob place a cake order in advance to guarantee specific flavors.

5 stars for My fave sundae everrrrr. Appropriate customer service. This creamery's popularity can have a long line at times. Creamy texture to ice cream and unique flavors makes this place relevant! Prices comparable to other specialty ice cream shops

I'm not sure why all the negative reviews. Perhaps customer service improved, as I had zero issues during my visit. The staff was super helpful and patient, offered many samples, and gave recommendations. The ice cream was pretty good, not the best I've had, but it still hit the spot.

I got one scoop of vanilla bean ice cream in a cup. Although it was very creamy and good quality in my opinion, the flavors were absolutely odd and nothing caught my eye. I ended up just going with vanilla because everything else sounded gross. There were no standard ice cream flavors available like cookie dough, cookies & cream, chocolate, etc. There was like lemon custard, honey. I wouldn't come back because of this and would rather try something else in the area, but if you like odd ball flavors, this place is for you

Found street parking nearby and came by for dessert a little after 9pm. There wasn't anyone in the small shop when we arrived, so we took our time to look over the flavor options. While debating between all the different options, I noticed how they had little colored stickers on all the flavor signs for those with food sensitivities/allergens/restrictions, which was great! I sampled both the orange blossom honey and milk tea + biscuits, and while I enjoyed both, I really enjoyed the tea flavor in the milk tea + biscuits as well as the crumbly texture of the biscuits so I decided to go for that one. Many of my friends also opted for that flavor as well, and I'd definitely recommend it. Service overall was pretty standard, and I don't live close enough to the area to see myself coming back, but if you're close by and looking for an ice cream shop to check out, you might like this one!

Stopped here for dessert on a Thursday after 9pm and surprisingly it was still open. The lady helping us was very friendly and we were able to try some ice cream. We didn't feel rushed at all. I tried the Ethiopian coffee ice cream and it was ao creamy and good.

That came out to 6$ at first then I saw on their menu at the register that the cone could be dipped with chocolate, she said it's $1.25 extra, then I noticed peanuts could be added to the chocolate dip, she said another 1.25, total came to 8 ish, I tipped a $1 so I say at a round off I spent 10 next time I'm not getting all the extra for the cone. The size of a small cone is very generous and very reasonable for the 6$ price. Very spacious inside but it is pretty much an order then go. There was a standing table but I suggest know that you will just be getting your treat and heading out. Cold Stone Creamery happened to be the only place still open until 10 PM, and I urgently needed a cake with a candle. It genuinely felt like a make-or-break moment. Not only did I get the cake and the candle, but the employee helping me asked what the occasion was. After hearing the story, he offered to add a custom message to the cake, even though I hadn't asked for it. That small gesture meant so much and made the person receiving the cake incredibly happy. It was the kind of service that absolutely deserved a great tip. Thank you for going above and beyond. The gal that worked there just didn't seem like she liked her job that much. She didn't smile then when she took my order for my ice cream, which was going to be coffee ice cream with three toppings in it, she barely mixed it together! She flipped it over once and then stuffed it in the cup leaving so much topping (that I was paying extra for!!) on the counter! So I said politely, "you're gonna give me that topping right" and she was like " oh ok" and then she like smushed it on the top like I was at a yogurt shop or something!!! But she STILL left stuff on the cold stone counter. I'm paying for those toppings!!! I want every last one of them. Im paying extra for each topping plus there's hardly any extra topping given so you're getting a lot of extra money from me!! I don't know. Then she had the nerve to say when I was about to pay " the screens gonna ask you some questions " . Why would I give her a tip? I'm getting so sick of these tips anyway. I'm like-- enough already! I'm coming into the store to get ice cream that's your job. Why am I paying you to do your job? Especially when you're ripping me off and not giving me my proper number of turns to fold the topping into the ice cream and then leaving my toppings on the counter! I was just really disappointed and I think I'll just go to Coco swirl across the street from now on because if I'm gonna have my ice cream with the topping on top, I might as well put my own topping on my yogurt. I was just looking at the pictures and was reminded that it didn't even seem like I was given a full medium serving of ice cream because as you can see it was low and then the toppings are on top such a bad experience.
