This meal could not have been any better. Our server was amazing - he always happened to be there right when we needed him, but not before. We started with two Cantaritos at his suggestion - so good! We also had the table side guacamole, which was perfect. My husband had the lobster enchiladas, and I had the sea bass with pistachio crust. Hit lobster paradise for an early lunch on our 2nd day of our vacation. The view is 5 stars all day long. We sat on the water. My wife ordered the coconut shrimp which were ok maybe 3 stars. I got the local lobster which was cooked perfectly and tasty. We did the table side guacamole as well. Guac was pretty good. I read the reviews prior to going there for lobster and the fact that they charge a guy $150 for lobster, so when i asked the server how much will the carribean lobster cost, he said 1500 pesos and i thought that was a decent price for it. But when the bill came up, he charged over $3500 pesos...!! At that point since it was my fiance birthday, i didnt want to make an issue of it in front of her. Let me start by saying that I felt very safe eating here during this pandemic, temperature check and hand sanitizer before even walking in; all staff wears (properly) face coverings. The people here were very nice and friendly, we had a short conversation with one of the waiters, we had three people looking out for our needs. The view was super cool, there is no better music than nature and the sea waves crashing, loved it so much! And las but for sure not least the food tasted so freakin good, my hubby and I sure needed another belly. Don't be fooled by the name all the food is epic. Yes the lobster tail was amazing as was the ribeye but I was lucky enough to have friend that had the snapper and allowed us to sample a bite and it was the most incredible fish I had ever tasted. Lobster Paradise is one of the best experiences of our trip to Punta Mita. We arrived just after opening for an early lunch while we had childcare. We were taken care of immediately by Angel, who set us up at a beautiful table overlooking the beach under the shade of a tree. We couldn't have ordered up a more romantic spot. He walked us through the menu and we decided on the Caribbean lobster tail and the blue fin tuna tartare and it was delicious. The lobster tail was HUGE. Angel was attentive with just enough information to guide us to get what we wanted. Near the end of our meal we were planning a tequila tasting next and asked his opinion on two nearby options. He suggested we could just do it right there with them. So we moved to the bar, and he and Nacho proceeded to educate us, let us try lots of tequilas, and really have a wonderful time. Hands down one of the best experiences of my life. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by many smiling faces, including the owner himself. He offered us the best table in the restaurant, which included a million dollar view of the ocean and cool breezes provided by fans to assist with the heat. We had no need to wait long, we were taken care of right away. Aside from the actual restaurant, the food itself was impeccable. From presentation to taste, all dishes were 10 out of 10. It's my second year visiting Punta de Mita and it was quite the surprise to see Lobster Paradise move into the neighborhood. I will confess I was leery however once I arrived I was impressed just by the aesthetics. The restaurant is beautiful and welcoming. We requested a table for 8 by the sea and we were seated on a round table on the sand. It was absolutely perfect. We were then waited on by Alfredo and it's apparent he knows the menu and takes pride in his work as well as the restaurant. It was refreshing to visit a restaurant that didn't have extra loud tableside musicians. There was a live saxophone player who didn't overpower our conversation, we actually enjoyed it. There are many great choices on the menu. Half of our party chose the catch of the day, the other half chose the jumbo coconut shrimp (myself included) and it was amazing! Everyone at our table shared how flavorful their plates were and how content everyone was with their selection. After dinner my husband and I decided on the cheesecake for dinner and It. Was. amazing! It's a big slice and I thought it would be dense but it's tastes light. My meal there is one of those meals that you love because it's amazing and hate because you can only get it there. Lobster Paradise was a sweet surprise and I highly recommend it. This is a wonderful upscale restaurant that you can go to in shorts while feeling at home. There were a lot of things to enjoy. My party enjoyed the spinach and cheese dip listed as a side dish. They were our appetizers. My caprese salad was wonderful. My table loved their entrees: lobster, sea bass and scallops. While I loved my ribeye, I was disappointed they served it with a huge chunk of fat on it. The breads were ordinary. I wish the bees didn't bother us.
