Drove by this semi-permanent looking "food truck" traveling down Highway 1 on Labor Day, saw the sign for $10 lobster rolls, and decided to stop in for our first "Maine lobster roll" experience. It was noontime and the lady inside seemed to be running things on her own, so it took her a few minutes to finish processing the orders of the 6 folks already waiting for their food before she could take our order.
She handed us our little foil packets immediately after payment, so these rolls were obviously pre-made. Inside were some no-frills lobster rolls: untoasted rolls filled with chunks of lobster meat and mayo with paprika sprinkles; no celery, scallions, tarragon, etc. that we could detect.
