I went there with a colleague on a Thursday afternoon at about 12:30 after a meeting. The first impression was "wow this place looks pretty cool". Plus it was pretty crowed as well. I have been a longtime advocate for local burger. As of recently, their quality has been getting worse. Last night I ordered two burgers, two milkshakes and two orders of fries. The milkshakes were freshly made and delicious. However I cannot say the same for the burgers. My fiancé's double burger was $9.00 and a McDouble would've had better quality. I ordered the quinoa burger, which I have always ranted about with others. This time- not so much. It was cold and had a sliver of lettuce on it that looked like it was chewed up and put onto the burger. My fiancé ate two bites of his burger and felt nauseous. I understand we are in the middle of a pandemic and we have been trying to support local businesses. However spending the $52.00 was not worth it in our eyes. Did a late lunch on Sunday afternoon. Place wasn't packed, but that's cool by me. I had the Local Burger, my buddy had a "Return of the Mac". He thought his meal was on the heavy side, but that's what you get when you put Mac & Cheese on a burger. The bacon complimented it nicely. My Local burger was good, came out properly cooked. Lettuce and Tomato were fresh on the bun, not wilted or in short supply like you may get at other places. Cheese was melted nicely too. I was concerned of liking the Local sauce on the burger (I don't usually like Mayo on my burgers) but the sauce tasted great. I'd get it again. Sweet Potato fries were excellent, had a sugary sprinkling on them and a sweet dipping sauce. I'll definitely get that again. Service was average speed, but I don't like a rushed lunch anyway, so all in all, had a great first trip and will be back again! read more

Local burger is great! Their captain chicken sandwich is huge and so delicious! I haven't tried their burgers yet, since I'm not a big red meat eater, but my boyfriend loves them! The only thing that's annoying is having to pay extra for sides. In my opinion, a burger or sandwich should come with fries or onion rings. I try to share a side with someone, because it can get a little pricey with all of the extras! Their onion rings and salt and vinegar fries are delicious, highly recommend both of those! Well the food is nothing better than average and the service we got was AWFUL! Yesterday we went to Local Burger & our waitress DUMPED an entire chili cheese fries into my husbands lap. She apologized but that was it. He was covered. We had an evening full of plans that were ruined because we had to go home for him to shower and change. It literally looked like he vomited in his lap. The apology was minimal, no comped meal, no offer for a t-shirt for him to change into (they sell them) I asked how much they were and the waitress never even came back with an answer, in fact she seemed to avoid us altogether. The management needs to train the staff how to better handle these situations. We will never go back. read more

Any time I come to Local Burger, it never disappoints. Local burger is a great restaurant right on Main Street. It's a 'local' burger joint that features a unique menu of flavorful burgers. I came here recently when the weather was warm and I was so happy that they had the doors wide open. A friend and I were seated near the entrance and there was a nice breeze coming in. The atmosphere is super laid back and casual. To start, I ordered sangria, which was not bad - a bit too fruity for my liking, but that's preference. This time I ordered the 'Return of the Mac' which is a burger topped with bacon, cheddar and homemade mac and cheese. The food is always super fresh and never takes a while to be ready. I also added pickles for added flavor. The burger was cooked perfectly and the Mac and cheese was fresh and delicious. We also ordered the 'fiddy-fiddy' which is an order of bald fries half onion rings. Both are incredible and the onion ringer batter is to DIE for. Our waitress was really nice and checked in often. Review:: Big Pig Sandwich.. Sandwich not so big, but didn't matter.. wasn't impressed as we always compare everyone's pulled pork to Smokin Al's, which there is none better in my opinion. Salt and vinegar fries- huge disappointment , it was regular fries with a side of vinegar. They need to spray mist the fries with vinegar instead of giving a dipping cup of vinegar. The quinoa burger had the best flavor of any veggie burger I've had in any restaurant. It came on a generic potato bun. Hubby had the blue ribbon burger and he said it was also very good, same generic potato bun. For a side, he ordered fitty fitty which is half onion rings, half fries and I ordered the sweet potato fries. My fries were mushy..picking one up it actually bent. Not sure what caused that, as they weren't greasy, just too "limp"! They came with a maple mayo which is AWESOME! Hubby got two onion rings to his order and neither of them was cooked enough, although his fries were cooked perfectly. Overall, I would not consider this inexpensive, as both the burger and fries were about the size of a regular hamburger and fries that you would get at McDonald's. read more

I have eaten here twice and knew Local had wedged itself into my tummy for some yummy when I caught myself thinking about that Peanut Butter burguer. I remember the first review I read about this place and thinking how disgusting that sounded and who would ever eat that. Cool atmosphere. Very helpful waitstaff. It was out daughter's 5th B-day. None of the kids would eat their burgers. The ground beef was prepared w/ some sort of spice. I'm assuming ground red pepper. We had to order grilled cheeses for all the kids. The place is great, but the burgers are a little Spicy. Not Everyone grew-up eating Spanish cuisine or chili pepper.
