Condado Tacos has such a fun vibe! I've dined in a number of times, and have always gotten tacos. Normally I don't even pursue the menu because I basically know what I'm getting. Since I was ordering take away, I actually looked at the menu closer and decided to do a Build Your Own bowl with a lettuce base, roasted chicken, and all my favorite toppings! Only change I would make next time is not getting the fajita peppers and onions - too many green peppers for my preference and also changed the flavor of the overall bowl. That aside my bowl was delicious - nice amount of protein and so many great flavors. I'll likely go this route in the future as well! I also grabbed one of their agua frescos - it was a nice treat if you're looking for a non-alcoholic option, though it reminded me a bit of flavored sprite. Food is mid - we have Condado locations in Pittsburgh so I've been to a few different locations now. It's basic Tex Mex with their own flair and usually bland. I'll say first our server was fantastic. She was attentive even though she was busy. She was also talkative with our toddlers and playful with them. We went on a Sunday evening when it was very nice outside. I'm not sure if we came after a rush but there were many tables not bused and left a mess the whole time we were there. The floors were disgusting with food and stickiness throughout the restaurant. The kitchen sent food out pretty slow. The bowl was so bland. Our hotel breakfast had better chicken on their breakfast bar for protein breakfast bowls. The taco was decent but also just meh. I think most of their tacos they try to do too much - too many flavors and textures. We were just going on what we thought was a short walk across the bridge but ended up discovering the path to the waterfall wasn't far from where we were. Very disappointed. I ordered boxed lunches for an event today. When I arrived to the location to pick up my order, not only was it not ready, someone hadn't even sent the order to the kitchen. Now I'm going to be very late for my event. I arrived and told the hostess I was here for a catering order, she had this look on her face that told me something was wrong. She went to the kitchen, then to the locations laptop to look up be order, then she went back to the kitchen. When she came back out to me, she said the kitchen was backed up so it would be while. What she meant to say, was someone had failed to retrieve the order online and get it to the kitchen. This is a mess! Now I will be late for the event. read more

I met a friend at Condado for dinner on a Tuesday night. The food was decent, as expected. I got a house margarita with Tajín on the rim (yum) and a flight of queso, guacamole and salsa verde (also yum). If you're not expecting authentic Mexican food for the entrees, it's decent. Our server was nice and attentive. My main gripe with this place was how close the tables were to one another! It was hard to have a conversation with my friend without overhearing everything going on around me. Just a super tight squeeze, and it made me a little uncomfortable. We were a party of two with a large party near us, and it was distracting. Also, not the fault of Condado, but was the traffic was unexpectedly awful for a Tuesday evening and the parking kind of sucks (underground garage, super tight fit). read more

I've visited this Condado location multiple times, usually with a group of 6-10 people on Sunday afternoons. For Sunday lunch we usually are seated right away and served well. Condado's dips are very good. They have multiple varieties of queso and guacamole which are all tasty. The chips aren't my favorite, they lack flavor and salt usually. I've also ordered them to go to take next door to Getaway Brewery. I usually order the tacos on the menu instead of making my own. Blue Dream and Lucy's Fire are my go-tos but today I tried the seasonal Orange-Glazed chicken and liked it too. read more

Been here a few times, it's not consistent. Sometimes it's really good, other times it's terrible. The last time we were here i threw out 90% of the order and just made a Peanut butter jelly sandwich and it was a step up. I've been a fan of Condado for quite a while. I usually get an assortment of their specialty tacos (shoutout Lucy's Fire and Sweet Heat). The 'bud box' is always a good move -- comes with two specialty tacos and a side of chips and queso. The catch though, is it can only be ordered online. It used to be $10-11, but they recently increased the price to $13-14. Disappointing, but the queso is so good that I think it's still worth it. That said, when I recently got take-out from this location, I decided to switch it up and try a build your own bowl. Glancing back at the menu as I write this, I'm now wishing I would've opted for the fire-roasted street bowl as this one comes with topped with Mexican street corn. Oh well, anyway my bowl was pretty good and the ingredients tasted fresh. It was also just the right amount of food -- I was able to finish the whole thing without feeling overly stuffed. If you've never been to Condado, I recommend giving it a try. Everything I've gotten has been good, so I'm sure you can't go wrong. read more

At this location in particular, very slow service. It wasn't they busy and the food took awhile, the serve took forever to check on us. My order was made wrong and i asked for two different meats and only got one and was still charged for two even though I told the waitress. She never corrected it, I paid for a drink that was never given. My tacos were cold, like got out of the fridge cold. I don't think I will be back to this location anytime soon. read more

I wanted to like this place but it just wasn't good. The house marg had a funny taste from the mixer, almost like a soda but I couldn't quite place it. Chips and salsa were decent. Tomatillo was solid. But charging for chips and salsa is an absolute sin in places like Texas and the usual sign for it's not going to be great. I got the Korean bbq taco and chicken bacon tacos. Korean bbq was bland with a slight hint of gochujang. The chicken bacon would be a best seller at Taco Bell. The tortillas were soft wrapped around a cool ranch hard shell. That was just gimmicky and awful. Very Taco Bell elevated overall. I doubt I'll give this place another chance or just go with lunch like a burrito or a bowl. read more

I took my 70 year old mother here, who has a gluten allergy. I made it known that my mom had this allergy and the server said that they would have no problem meeting her needs. It took us 45 minutes to even receive our food and shortly after eating my mom had an incredibly bad flair up due to cross contamination. I asked the server to get their manager. They brought a guy named Brayden out. He was immediately very rude to us and very unprofessional, he did not offer to comp our meal and was trying to tell me there was no cross contamination when she was clearly having a reaction which she had not been having before. I talked to him for about 15 minutes trying to figure out the issue and he told us to go eat somewhere else. Side note, he smelled heavily of cigarettes and marijuana. Arrived shortly before 3pm on a beautiful Monday afternoon. Sat at the bar and ordered a bottle of Modelo Especial. Strike one. Ended up getting a $4.50 16oz can of PBR. The steak tacos were the best I've ever eaten and that includes extensive experience on the west coast, southwest and southern Texas. Their flour wrapped crunchy corn tacos are so incredible that you wonder where this has been your whole life! I tried both steak tacos and they are incredible! Condado is a popular spot for Americanized tacos in Columbus, with several locations. This location is in the old town area in Dublin, and you can walk between Old Town Dublin and Bridge Park on the pedestrian bridge. We went on one of those perfect fall evenings and really enjoyed the patio. If you're looking for funky tacos and make your own whatever, this is a good spot to get them. I'm not a huge fan of the make your own wrap/bowl/salad concept any more, so usually prefer my tacos from somewhere else. But it's a fun casual place with good drinks and I enjoyed the queso as well. read more

They brought out a tray of cold chips with coagulated cheese on top. When our tacos came they were cold. The meat was cold, the tacos were cold, they were all soggy because it was if they tried to cover up the mess with too much sauce. The tots were 5 tater tots tossed in a bowl of cold white cheese. Food: This is the primary reason for the three-star review. I ordered the Bajo Shrimp Taco (no "fire" symbol on the menu) and the Korean BBQ Taco ("fire" symbol on the menu but I asked for the "not spicy" version). I ate the Korean BBQ one at the restaurant, and it was spicy! The staff appeared to be having a challenging evening so I let it go. I took the shrimp taco home for the next day's lunch, and it was spicy! This experience has me questioning whether to return. If you like spicy, this is your place. If you don't, be cautious. "Spicy" is very subjective, but, hopefully, the people preparing the food should know what makes it spicy and should avoid those ingredients when a customer asks for "not spicy". I ordered the margarita sampler: mango, pineapple, and strawberry. They all pretty much tasted the same with the exception of the strawberry. And the strawberry was only slightly strawberry flavored. It was a fun drink order, but I'm not sure I would order it again. Service: I give Service four stars because although we waited a long time to give our food order, and it took a long time for our drink orders to arrive, both our waiter and waitress-in-training were very nice. But I did have to get up and go get our waiter. He basically told me it was my job to flag him down, not for him to keep checking in on us. Again, I let it go because he seemed very nice, but I was stunned. Our waitress-in-training was also very nice. She even initiated validating our parking tickets. Something I would've forgot to ask if she hadn't asked first. Ambiance: I give ambulance four stars. I especially like the high tables. And the outside eating area looks nice too. But, I do wish they would keep the music down a bit to make conversing easier. Many restaurants make this mistake. I was very excited to return to this restaurant as my first experience was awesome. But with that experience, I ordered different cocktails, and make-your-own-tacos. So maybe it's just a matter of ordering the right things. I finally got to visit this Condado Tacos! First off, you can park in the parking garage next to it and they will validate your parking FYI! It's a pretty spacious restaurant and we were able to get a table around 5:30PM on a Friday. It was still happy hour so margaritas are $6 and an extra $1 if you want a flavoring. Our drinks came out pretty quick and along with the guac we ordered. Guac was good but chips were stale. They don't have you mark off your own orders anymore so you just have to try to remember what you want off the menu and read it to the waiters. We ordered a few tacos ($3.85/each) and rice bowls ($8.50). Our food came out pretty quick and our waiter was good about checking in on us throughout the night and before happy hour ended. I have never been disappointed by a Condado location. The bar staff is very attentive and everything is delicious. The little patio is nice to sit at for a breath of fresh air, but the inside is large with lots of seating for bigger parties. Love walking around the Dublin area down there now, with all of the new places to see and things to do. We had a table in the front cover by the window. If you're counting calories/trying to watch what you're eating, they do have the calories for each taco listed on their website. I ordered Up in smoke and Lucy's fire. Both tacos had chicken. I liked Up in smoke. Such a nice BBQ flavor. Lucy's fire didn't have any spice, if that's what they were going for. It was a heavy taco, honestly. My stomach was full after eating just that one. Not sure what the white sauce was on top of it, but I didn't need it. Kinda tried to scrape it off. I also got chips and guacamole. Can't go wrong! Delicious! The chip portion is generous.
