The food was good and although they were busy we got right in. The server was very attentive. Free chips are a bonus.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the delicious food here! I was suspect when my wife…read moreand I headed out from our house. Everything was so delicious and such good service here! I had. Lamb Jhapali Thali : Rice in the middle with a crispy thin type of bread similar to a tortilla. a spicy sauce, gulab jamun ( round heavy cake like with a honey sauce), yogurt, lentil soup, lamb , spinach and a cauliflower vegetable with spices. My wife had butter chicken. We both had garlic naan and pea and potato Samosas. We will definitely go back with friends showing them this restaurant.

The decor is pretty simplistic, although the furniture is beautiful. It looks pretty dark outside, and the neon "open" sign is the only indication that they're open. We were seated quickly, as it was empty when we arrived, although two more couples showed up after us. We ordered our favorites, chicken tikka masala for me, palak (saag) paneer for him. As an appetizer, we had puri with a vegetable curry that was AMAZING. I wish we'd ordered more of that, because the rest of our food was a bit underwhelming. Well, he enjoyed his saag paneer, even though it was made differently than he was used to. My chicken tikka masala was VERY buttery, which was very odd for me, and not what I'm used to. I wanted to like it, but I couldn't. The Service was okay, but when we got the check, the prices were ALL different than what was listed on the menus that were handed to us. When we pointed out the discrepancy, all we got was "well, the prices are correct in our computer, would you like to see?" No, but you should PRINT NEW MENUS WITH UPDATED PRICING, instead of gaslighting your customers for a problem that you created and refuse to properly fix. Ridiculous. Eat somewhere else, ideally at a place with the CORRECT prices listed on the menu.

Twin's Tavern - The front entrance. Quaint, unassuming, local. Just opened so we should be patient and give them time to get established.

They've been open since St. Patrick's day but have NO BEER! NOT EVEN CANS BRUH! Strike 1. The lady that helped me was very pleasant, I got bourbon on the rocks. But the off duty workers hanging out being louder than the music was very annoying. Strike 2. I asked for one more drink and the check, drink was weak af. Literally had almost no color, worst shot I've ever had in recent memory. Strike 3. I think once they get fully stocked and more people come besides the workers, this place could have potential as a local bar. They can only serve liquor and White Claw type drinks in a can that aren't White Claw! I never thought I would be wishing for a White Claw, but I did. I was told they'd have beer in a month or so. But Im also like, "Why would you open for a day like St. Patty's and during March Madness and you don't have beer? Im open minded, so I'm going to give it til May and come back with the wife and see what's up. It's a small place, very cozy. It could be nice to watch a game here with some fellow fans. Just not yet.

The greeter, waitress and table runner were welcoming and prompt during the weekday lunch service. The chips and salsa were fine; neither part wowed. But my El Tapatío plate was a good merging of chicken, chorizo, and pineapple. The rice and guacamole salad played their supporting roles well. Ordering from the lunch menu provided a nice value. With this place being close to work, it just may have earned itself a happy hour visit.

Me and my wife were born in San Antonio, so it's safe to say we know what good Mexican food is about. Need to start with how clean this place is. Huge points in my book for a facility having a clean environment. The server (Stephanie) was awesome, very nice, very sociable, quick to take care of the patrons. The salsa was very delicious, chips were good as well. The guac dip is something that restaurants don't seem to get sometimes, this is some good old school recipe guac dip here. I'm a sucker for fish tacos, whether it's tilapia, or cod, or even shrimp. These fish tacos were spot on, fair amount of fish, tortillas were very good, and the sauce was off to the side as I like. Love the crunch that the fried tilapia had to it, no complaints. My wife enjoyed the Tacos de Birria, and this is sometimes where people fail, with over cooking the beef. Not these, the beef was very tender, I had to sneak a piece of my wife's taco. The beans were great, the rice was great, just like back home. No question in my mind, I will bring my folks here when they come up to visit. My mom is originally from Monterrey, Mexico, and I know she would enjoy this spot. If your craving some authentic Mexican food, definitely make this a family night and enjoy the good. You can tell there is passion that goes into this food, and no doubt, we'll be coming back for more.
