The tater tots with the sauce on top were also a standout and something I'd order again without hesitation. That said, the service wasn't the best, especially for a first visit. I had a few questions about the menu and drinks, but our server seemed rushed and a bit annoyed, which made the experience feel less welcoming. Ordering drinks felt a little hurried, and while my husband really enjoyed his, mine were just okay. Overall, the food was great and the atmosphere is worth checking out, but I do wish the service had been a bit more attentive and helpful, especially for someone new to the place.

Our four-top chatted over our fun & delish drinks, as well as, our simply delicious dishes. Each bar back or server was smiling and genuinely seemed happy to be there! I hop to travel from Wisconsin back here soon and definitely share this speak-easy-esque with others going that way. Get the ramen! Try the drinks {both alcoholic and nonalcoholic (pictured)}. You won't be disappointed here. Thanks for being an inclusive & elevated restaurant.

The atmosphere was really enjoyable -- the space has a great vibe, the drinks were well made, and overall it feels like somewhere that could become a favorite spot downtown. The food was decent as well, though not especially memorable. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the positives. From the moment we walked in, we felt more like an inconvenience than welcomed guests. The host greeted us while remaining seated at the bar and simply told us to "sit anywhere," which immediately set an odd tone. When I asked for paper menus, I was told they only use QR codes. Normally that wouldn't be a huge issue, but the menu was around 15 pages long with tiny font, making it frustrating to navigate on a phone. Once our food arrived, we essentially never saw our server again. No check-ins, no refill offers, no asking if we wanted another round of drinks -- nothing. Meanwhile, staff members were gathered at the bar loudly talking among themselves and openly complaining about being there, which was uncomfortable to listen to as customers trying to enjoy a night out. Eventually, we had to walk up to the front bar ourselves just to pay our bill. That was the most disappointing part because the restaurant truly has the foundation to be excellent. The ambiance and drinks are already there, but hospitality matters just as much as the food. A little attentiveness and genuine customer service would have completely changed the experience. We absolutely would have ordered more drinks and likely stayed longer if anyone had checked on us. Hopefully management takes service more seriously, because this place could be great with the right staff culture and attention to guests.

Our drinks were always full and she answered all our questions. She brought me beer samples to figure out which one I wanted. The waiter was busy but always greeted and said goodbye to all guests coming and going. Food 10/10 For the tablet we got calamari, the Durkins famous double cheeseburger and the fried bologna sandwich. The food was extremely fresh! The cheese was melted to perfection. We left with full bellies but not feeling heavy. The food was decadent but not greasy. My husband got a mocktail, spiced cranberry and it was fabulous! My husband and I can't wait to go back. We paid approximately $100 with tip, so it's not cheap, but WORTH IT for the quality of food and service.

The broccolini is also very good and paired very well with fried garlic and lemon aioli. The burrata and tapenade is tasty. The menu chosen for the restaurant week is a good choice of things to try that are satisfying to the palate and getting to the 3rd course you will not be upset choosing the peanut butter pie, especially if you like peanut butter and chocolate. The tres leche cake is also good but kinda dry to most tres leche I have had but it's still good. The service here is prompt and accommodating. The restaurant is a low light setting so it might be easy to eat get full and fall asleep all in one setting. I highly recommend you give Durkins a try during this restaurant week.

It feels like walking into an old beer cellar or something from a Wisconsin brewer's past. The food does not disappoint. I had the mushroom stroganoff and it was divine. The creamy sauce truly is a knock out and those mushrooms are sautéed to perfection. I wish I had taken a photo before my hungry bootahy ate it all. Listen up vegetarian peeps, you'll enjoy this dish. There're fun options for everyone. The barkeep definitely needs to be raved about. Hallie is knowledgeable and cares about the cocktail she prepares. She knows the classics and she'll work with any spirit needs you desire. She blended 2 rums for me to make a classic style daiquiri with a hint of the Plantation Pineapple Rum. That cocktail should just be named after the barkeep because she is as sweet as they come. The environment is a rad basement setting with all the speakeasy vibes but the staff make it warm as hell because of how inviting they are. They take reservations and they have cozy rooms for large get togethers. Do yourself a favor and get in here. You'll need to walk around some orange cones due to construction but you'll be glad you did.

On my first night, I sat at the bar and ordered a Grapefruit Drop before getting a burger to go. The bartender was friendly and attentive, and the drink was excellent. Bright, citrusy, and well balanced. The Table 13 Burger was fantastic, cooked just right with fresh toppings and crispy fries. I brought it back to my room and enjoyed it while catching up on email, and it hit the spot. The next night, I went back and ordered the same Grapefruit Drop again because I liked it so much. I tried the Fish and Chips this time, and it was delicious with crisp batter and tender fish. The slaw was crisp but mild, kind of the vanilla of slaws. It added texture but not much flavor. I finished with the Huckleberry River Cake, a creamy and tangy dessert with a rich berry sauce that was absolutely scrumptious. The atmosphere was relaxed. I was there on a work trip traveling solo and felt comfortable sitting at the bar. There were plenty of other guests talking and enjoying themselves, but it wasn't overly loud. Service was great both nights, and the location off the main lobby is convenient. The food was excellent, and the experience was consistently good. I would gladly eat here again.

I got the roasted half chicken, it comes with asparagus and rice but I substituted the rice for broccolini, and it came with a side of spinach soup. Service was great, the hostess took my to go order and I sat and waited for 25 minutes. She was friendly and helpful. Ambiance is nice, I didn't ear there but it has plenty of seating and decor was nice.
