This is a real gem amidst a sea of overpriced mediocre tourist trap restaurants! The parking lot is on a steep hill and is very narrow so be prepared. We waited about 10 minutes for a table at peak dinner hour. We got the cheese fondue and the fried green tomatoes. The fondue was mediocre at beat but the tomatoes were AMAZING. They were a perfect combination of sweet and savory on top of perfectly fried slabs of green tomato. The buns sandwiches come on we're just superb. They are well buttered and toasted and topped with an everything bagel seasoning that's mouthwatering. The burgers are juicy and the bacon on my crab cake sandwich was thick and delicious. The bar list is not to be missed and is very extensive. Our server was just so-so. The restaurant is VERY reasonably priced, especially considering it's on a tourist strip! Seeing the overwhelming reviews for this place during our visit it made it an easy choice to decide on. We had a short wait upon visiting (10 minutes or so) and the anticipation was killing me I was so hungry. Once we were sat down we were greeted by Kostatine (so?) and he was an excellent server. We started off with the cheese fondue served with homemade bread, pretzels, and apples. From there we had a few burgers that were also both very tasty. Our server was very attentive the entire time, never had to ask for a refill which is always a plus for me, and made sure my family had everything they needed the whole time. This place had a huge selection and is definitely worth the try. Would recommend to anyone. read more

Let me start by saying I highly recommend you make a reservation or signing up for their waiting list before arriving, especially around the weekend or during high volume times in Pigeon Forge. If not, get comfortable waiting for a table. We drove by this place several times and the parking lot was always packed. The restaurant is clean and has a high-class feel to it, even though they're kind of a burger place - not cheap burgers, but burgers. So of course I didn't get a burger. I had the appetizer steak nachos instead. They seemed a little sparse on toppings when they first arrived, and they were, but it was sufficient for the meal / amount of chips. I did have to ask for the guac that was supposed to come on them, but the chef forgot. That guac totally made the meal - it was fresh and delicious. The beer cheese sauce they covered the chips with was really flavorful too. So forget the burgers, try the steak or chicken nachos. read more

My family visited yesterday, and while most service lacks in the Pigeon Forge area, the experience they had was beyond poor. They were happy to wait an hour to be seated, but while trying to stand by the bar to order drinks, they were repeatedly asked to move out of the way, and when they found another place to stand, they were aggressively asked to get out of the way, yet again. It was just not behavior you would find in a well managed restaurant. The attitude was very much that they are a tourist based dinning experience and could care less about patrons coming to spend money there. She told us how she used to visit there coming from Ohio and decided to move just to work at this place, maybe not just for that but it makes my version of the story better. If you are in the Gatlinburg area this place should be on your list of things to do. They make their own bread in house and it was tremendous on the burgers we ordered. There are many burgers to choose from and it seemed as if everyone was getting burgers so we did too. A great move. See pic. We did get the Ahi for a starter but were so hungry that I forgot to take a pic. Hahaha. It was perfectly cooked and the dressing was outstanding. I read many of the reviews for the chocolate peanut butter pie before going so I saved some room for dessert. Boy am I glad I did. Delicious! Great bar (they have Ky Bourbon Barrel Ale) and great food. I had the black & blue burger cooked perfectly on a house made bun no less. My hubby had absolutely grease free fish & chips. My mom wanted to go here for Mother's Day while we were in Pigeon Forge, TN. They had bought out an old 'Ol Charley's building, so it still resembled it in a way, but with a rustic flare. The restaurant was pretty packed, but the staff was very friendly. The menu was diverse in food selection as well as pricing. I had the Fish 'n Chips with a made-from-scratch remoulade (tarter sauce). The fries were like extremely thin shoestring fries, but tasty. The fish had the perfect crunch to it and was fried just right! My dish came with decent sized pieces of fish and plenty of fries. The remoulade sauce complimented the fish very well. Overall a delicious meal. I'm going to start with the service. I will mention we had a reservation for 5:45 as recommended by many folks. We got there and checked in and was told it would be at minimum an additional 10-15 minute wait for them to clear our table. I get it, it's definitely busy. But we were not seated until 6:20. Which is an additional 35 minutes which almost defeats the purpose of the reservation. Additionally the lady who was tending to the first check in area was rude. I hate to comment as you never know if someone is having a rough day but she blatantly ignored me twice and I interacted with the folks at the main check in and they were super pleasant as was our waiter. On to the food. Definitely hit all high marks and did not disappoint. Started with the fondue. The beer cheese is absolutely delicious, the pretzel nuggets are absolutely perfect but the fresh apples were so crisp they almost tasted carbonated! They also offered additional apples and pretzels and bread if needed and we definitely took advantage. Always a pet peeve if they don't give enough dippers for the dip so that was definitely a plus. Hubby loved his steak and really enjoyed the crab cake. Literally hard to have a conversation with him after it was served since he was so much into it. I enjoyed the autumn salad. The pecan clusters were so delicious with the smokey grilled chicken and butternut squash definitely fall feels. Only thing about the salad is it was a tad overdressed which made it a little more soggy than it needed. Otherwise delicious and super fresh. read more

We Came here for lunch at the end of our vacation on the way out of town. The burgers were cooked as ordered and were ok but I don't think I could justify coming back as there usually seems to be a wait, they were kind of expensive and burgers were just ok to me. I also was not a fan of the hamburger buns. I don't like all the different seeds on them. We also tried the fried deviled eggs. I was not a fan of the egg filling but that's personal preference. Food and drinks were great. We ordered the Ahi Tuna Appetizer, Shrimp and Grits and the Chicken Alfredo. Portions were ample and plenty of food is coming home with us. But enough about that stuff. I need to tell you about one of the most remarkable persons that my wife and I have ever met. Her name is Megan and she was our bartender. With the hardest working, positive and friendly demeanor my wife and I have ever seen in ANY restaurant, Megan expertly mixed drinks, took orders, made sure everyone was happy, wore her mask and worked harder than I can describe. My wife and I came to Pigeon Forge to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We weren't supposed to come here, we were supposed to be in Los Angeles, but COVID stopped that. We also weren't supposed to be eating at this restaurant, but it was the only thing close by that was open at the time. We weren't supposed to be sitting at the bar, but I happened to walk around the corner to the bar right as a couple stood up to leave, every other seat was taken. So there is no accident here that we met Megan, and we are more than blessed for it. read more

We were in town in October and went to the Local Goat based off of reviews. It was amazing, we've talking about it ever since. We came back into town this week for my birthday and it was sub par. I'm not sure what happened, my burger wasn't cooked properly and the fries were so oily and undercooked as well. I didn't find this place on my search before my vacation, but every time we passed by it the parking lot was packed. Finally my curiosity got the best of me and we came on our last night in Tennessee. First off, we called to see about reservations and they had none available for the next 4 days. We walked in and it was a 20 minute wait, which due to covid we had to wait outside. It was not a bad wait being that we sat in the car for the warmth. When we sat down, the waiter came over after 2 or 3 minutes and was extremely pleasant. Only down part I found of the night was that the server was acting up and couldn't open the menu on the phone so the waiter brought us one. That was the only bad thing I could find from this place and it's not even anything. We started with the fried green tomatoes which for being my first time were amazing. My girlfriend also got the lobster and crab bisque, and it was very tasty. Main course was the shrimp and grits for me which had a little kick but it was just right. The plate was so well put together that even the things I don't like to eat regularly like mushrooms, I ate. My girlfriend had the battered shrimp which was breaded and fried really good, and the string fries were yummy. My sister had the steak nachos which she absolutely loved.
