Baked beans, Mac N Cheese, Smoked Brisket

Staff was very nice and welcoming; food was subpar. I was exited to try this place because it was rated 4.8/5.0. I wish it was better but felt I needed to write this review because most of the other reviews are extremely misleading. I've had some amazing BBQ in several different states and this place was a total disappointment. Brisket was wet and mushy with an almost taco seasoning flavor. It did not come sliced. It had no crust or char on the outside. It came almost with the same consistency as a wet and greasy pulled pork. It had no Smokey Flavor and it did not have any BBQ flavor, at all. Mac N Cheese was flavorless and I would venture to say it came out of a can. The noodles were extremely mushy. There was no "pull" to the cheese, indicating real cheese wasn't used to make it. It had no flavor; not even salt. Baked beans were the best part of the meal and they were just okay. They truly reminded me of a canned baked bean. I wound up throwing my entire meal in the trash. I did not want to waste the calories/ fat/ carbs (macros) eating it. Would not recommend the 3 items i purchased, at all. This was by far, the absolute worst Brisket and worst Mac N Cheese I've ever had.

Hands down BEST BBQ I have ever had. Their hours and days open are a bit limited so we were lucky that they lined up perfectly. Definitely worth going out of the way for. Everything was so fresh and flavorful and they provide a variety of bottles of sauces if you want extra. Highly recommend this little spot!!

Discovered a hidden gem, Preacher's BBQ, a neat barbecue establishment located outside of Sevierville. The preacher also utilizes this venue for Sunday church services. The BBQ was really exceptional.

10/10! We tried to visit on the first day of our trip and they were sold out- which made us want it even more! Re retuned the next day and thankfully they were still open and selling! The service was AMAZING. So friendly.. the owner even came out to introduce himself and to thank us for returning. The BBQ itself is incredible. The ribs are a must and fell of the bone as soon as I picked it up. The traditional sauce is the best bbq sauce I've ever had. We can't wait to come back and will tell everyone about this gem!

Wonderful hidden gem! No frills but the food and service are fantastic. The ribs had a good bark and came right off the bone. Pulled pork and brisket were flavorful and moist. Definitely a must try when you are in the area!

We were driving to our Airbnb and passed this place on the way! We went and freshened up and came right back! I ordered the burnt ends and fries and the owner threw in some ribs for free! He said "you can't come here and not have the ribs" and boy was he right. The whole staff is so so kind and this place embodies southern hospitality and southern barbecue. The view is from the porch table. We ate our bbq and watched thunderheads rolls in. We will be back anytime we come to the smokies!

This was the BEST BBQ I've ever had!! Everything we ate was homemade, fresh and delicious. We ordered a little bit of everything! The 3 meats and 2 sides entree is your best bang for your buck which is certainly shareable. We ordered the chopped brisket, pulled pork and burnt ends. These are the best burnt ends because they were lean and soaked in an amazing sweet sauce. The sides were all out of this world! The Brunswick stew has enough in it to be a meal on its own and the flavor was perfect. The Cole slaw is finely chopped and refreshing. The Mac n cheese and green beans were very standard and just as yummy as we'd hoped for. They have multiple kinds of BBQ sauces at every table. We really liked the sweet BBQ sauce! We also enjoyed the homemade Banana pudding. It had the perfect consistency. The woman at the front counter taking our order was super sweet and really sold us on the burnt ends with a little sample. Thank you for that!! This restaurant is so small and away from everything. It was certainly our hidden gem and we can't wait to come back!

I ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer only to have it delivered with batter so thick you could not find the tomato, and the batter had a fishy taste like the grease had also been used for frying fish. They were just not edible. When the waitress came to ask us how we enjoyed them, I told her there was too much batter and the grease tasted fishy. She didn't say a word, turned and walked away. You could tell her "How was it?" Inquiry was automatic and not a genuine concern for how the customers were enjoying the meal. It didn't get better. My grilled pork chops were tough, overcooked, and lacking any flavor. I could only eat one of the two provided. The pinto beans lacked any seasoning, but the coke slaw was good. My wife's pork chop was fried, and was better. It was cooked as it should have been. But her Mac and cheese was gummy and had an odd flavor. The cornbread was dry and not good. A friend who ate with us had Country Fried Steak. He said the steak was passable, but the gravy was disappointing. No onions at all in the gravy. This was not a good eating experience, and with the waitress's attitude, it was an almost a total flop. The sign at the entrance tells it all.
