I hate to say it but this place is not going to make it. Went in on a Saturday afternoon, not crowded at all. Our server was not sure whether they offered Stella Artois. I said, "I see a case of it in the corner". So, 10 minutes later, I asked, "Is that Stella coming"? She replied, "Oh yeah". My husband and I ordered and it took at least 30 minutes for our food to come. When the server apologized for the long wait she said that since I ordered my sandwich without cilantro it really threw the cook for a loop. Really? Sweet potato fries were not cooked all the way through. Sandwich was OK. Husband's burger was fine. I've been a server in casual bars and fine dining, so I want to be forgiving, but their wait staff is pretty lame. The owners/management need to get real about customer service, training and overall teamwork if they want to suceed read more

It's a very cute place in tucker and I wish I could like it but the food was just awful. The soggy fries and frozen gator tots literally made me and my kids have acid reflux for two days, plus one burger came out raw and another with dried out lettuce. The waitress was very sweet so not her fault. I think they need a real cook and someone who is much more on top of it in the kitchen. It also was rather greasy on the tables. It's great to have more local places but not at the cost of our health. They need to work hard to get us back in. read more

Okay, I've had lunch tiwce. 1- server or kitchen couldn't get it together. Order a burger which you have alot of choices with so assumed it was kind of the speciality. It was the worst! I work in Tucker and after all of the hype, I decided to give it a try. The staff was friendly enough and the food came out within a decent time frame, but that was about all the positives about this place. I ordered fried pickles for an appetizer, and they tasted like they were pickled with way too much dill seasoning. With every bite, the dill seasoning (and the salt) caught me in the back of the throat and made it difficult to eat. Then came my entree, the French Dip. The fries were incredibly salty and had a weird taste about them, like somebody had accidently put the wrong seasonings in them. The sandwich was half burnt while the other half was too soggy to even pick up. I resorted to using my knife and fork just to eat it. It had way too much meat (that was dried out and half burnt to boot) and only one slice of swiss cheese on it. The entire meal was way too salty. After downing a glass of water I could still taste the salt. Thirty minutes and a peppermint later, the salty taste left in my mouth is finally starting to go away. The only up side to this place is the beer they serve. I will never visit this place again. read more

I got the hot ham and cheese and it was really good. The onion rings are awesome! I took off a point because service is slow and the prices are high for what it is. They also nickel and dime you on sauces and upgrades which is really annoying to me. It very comfortable though with rustic decor and I will definitely go back when I can afford it! read more

Food's good, but last two times we've been there we've waited an hour or more for it to be served. I don't have that kind of time on a week night. The last time in the hour we waited before we finally just asked for our check (apps & drinks), the only time we even saw the waitress was when we went and got her for drink refills. I went to local 7 today with my family and was waited on by Jessica. She has waited on us before as well. She is very friendly and helpful! The food was amazing! I had the chicken salad sandwich and my husband had the chicken tacos. They were so good that there was not a bite left on either of our plates! It's also very close to the train tracks which my 3 yr old loves!!! We will be back for sure! read more

Really great place. Food is really good. The salmon blt and Cuban are above average. Each burger on the menu is top notch.

Disappointed. Nothing real special about just another bar. Food was good, but a bit pricey. I was VERY PUT OFF, when we ordered 3 burgers, 1 of which came with pickles, but 2 had them left off. We asked for a side of pickle slices for the 2 burgers without, and received 8 slices, and were charged an additional 75 cents! Petty! I ran a restaurant, and I know every penny counts, but that kind of petty stuff on something that was left off - well it makes for a bad first impression, and I will certainly not go back - EVER! Where to begin with Local. 7? Upon entering the restaurant and taking a seat at the bar, (which is preferred being someone who works in the service industry in Atlanta and has for quite some time) the bartender immediately (before saying anything as much as a hello) gestured for my ID before I even stated I was here to drink which I was, along with a quick bite. I thought this was a family oriented restaurant, one not requiring one to be 21 to even be seated. At this point, I just took it as I do look a little young for my age she didn't want some "kid" sitting at her bar. After showing my ID, I order a bourbon on the rocks, which I received several minutes later in a rocks glass with a measly 1/4 shot on ice. She then explained that she was out of the bourbon in which I selected but proceeded to charge me the full price and went without offering as much as a comparable option instead. Coming from a bartender, this is a deplorable showing of what good customer service is and should be. I then ordered food, which was underwhelming at best. The restaurant on the inside is nice and great ambiance, but the food is severely lacking. As someone else stated, save your time and go to Napoleon's on Lavista -much better quality from service to food. I couldn't even believe a friend would recommend this place - it was an overall horror show. I always believe in second chances being that I have been a server, bartender, manager before. But after this visit, I have seriously reevaluate that and will avoid this restaurant at all cost. read more

Nice addition to downtown Tucker. Pub style atmosphere with a large bar and plenty of televisions placed well around the room. Party of three dined on a Tuesday night at 7:00PM. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall the food was very good with minor criticisms. The kitchen should work to ensure that all items on the plate are as good as the others. The brunswick stew was a bit too thick and sweet. This, probably a result of continuous cooking on a steam table. The stew could have possibly been thinned with a bit of vinegar which would have had a better result. Fish and Chips entree was very good. The cod fish filets were hot and not oily at all. The fries however were too old and no longer crispy. The pulled pork entree was rated very good as well. A traditional bun instead of the buttery/oily Texas toast would have been preferred. The small pate buffalo wings were also very good. The server advised that they had run out of celery. Since there are two grocery stores within a half mile, this (as minor as it was) should not have happened. Everyone in the party agreed that they enjoyed Local 7 and would return again without hesitation. Good job Local 7 - keeping a keen eye on the details will surely elevate you to the next level. read more

This place is HORRIBLE!!!! I sat at the bar, and it took the bartender 4-5 minutes to notice I was there. I could understand if they were busy, but there were only about 4 people at the bar. THE PATRONS AT THE BAR ALREADY HAD THEIR FOOD AND DRINK WHEN I SAT. After this awkward 5 minutes, I was finally able to order. My drink sat almost empty until my food arrived, which was almost 20 minutes after I ordered. I asked the person bringing out my food if it's normal to have to wait 15+ minutes to get your food here, and he just looked at me and had this huge grin on his face like this was nothing out of the ordinary. And this continued until I asked him if it's normal for them to think that it's comical when a customer is not satisfied. The employees don't care about the customer because customer service is non existent here, and there are plenty of other places in Tucker to get better food than Local No ZERO. read more

I love great customer service. I love nice people. And I love good food. Local 7 has all that and good drinks. First off, a truly awesome crew of people work here. I first came here with my buddy Gregg. He lives like 2 blocks away and said this is his new local bar. I thought duh, it's within walking distance. He likes to drink. I like to eat. Both of us were taken care of and the experience was good. But it wasn't until my next visit that the staff outshined my expectations. I was with a bunch of friends and I was stressed because of this commercial shoot i had. I was in a hurry because i had to go to a party. And i was starving which makes me grumpy and unintentionally mean sometimes. Wow! The bartender there (such a cool dude but i'm bad with names) got me a drink immediately to calm my stress. The waitress, hooked me up with appetizers within minutes so i wasn't grumpy. And the best part is after telling them about the shoot I had, the bartender got the owner Louis and he gave me permission to shoot at his store. This guy literally gave me the shirt of his back. This lead to my consensus about Local 7. They will do whatever it takes to keep you happy. That's the difference here! 5 stars! GO There! read more
