This was our first time visiting Local No 7 and we'll be back to try more of the menu options. Everything we ordered was really tasty. In the mood for standard bar food, we had wings (accidently ordered boneless) and fish & chips with onion rings subbed. I also grabbed the spinach salad. To begin we had the fried pickles & jalapeno slices. Not sure if this was the case, but everything tasted like it had been prepared there/homemade (ranch, raspberry vinaigrette, batter on fish, etc). Service was friendly although it did take a bit too long to get our food. While we waited we enjoyed some cocktails - first round was perfectly balanced alcohol to "fillers." Second round definitely was heavier on the "filler" but that is typical of restaurant/bars. Looking forward to trying a burger my next time visiting - pictures online look fantastic! read more

Local No 7 is exactly what it claims to be - a neighborhood bar and grill. Fried selections abound; but there are also plenty of burgers and salads on the menu. I've been a couple of times, and while nothing has knocked my socks off enough to order it again, I like that they offer tots as well as fries. Why get fries when you can get tots, amirite? The 'shroom burger was a bit disappointing for me (the bun isn't toasted or steamed, and the portobello mushrooms are raw!) but my girlfriend was happy with her cauliflower tacos. The food is good bar food. The service is friendly and really working to get it right. However, the building, especially the back entrance is disgusting! Service was a little slow but the food made up for it! I'm sad I don't live close to this place to be able to get the pork tacos again and again! It wasn't my original choice either. We wanted to get the veggie wrap and southwest wrap and split halfsies but our server let us know they were out of the black bean pico which comes on both. So we went with the pulled pork tacos and buffalo chicken wrap (no blue cheese). We got tots and sweet potato fries. The wrap was good but VERY spicy! But let's focus on the star here. Those tacos! The pork had a great smokey flavor, not too much (or too sweet) bbq sauce, coleslaw was cold, and the crispy onion pieces on top just set these off! Highly recommend! read more

So glad this place does take out, because the Mexican restaurant across the street next to Village Burger does not, unless you order through DoorDash or another delivery service. I recently ordered the Philly cheesesteak and sweet potato fries from here, as well as the lemon pepper 10 pc wings with celery. The prices were all pretty reasonable compared to some other places and portions were generous. It didn't take long before my food came out. The cheesesteak was pretty good. The only thing I didn't like about the it was the red peppers. I've never really cared for the taste of them. I prefer green peppers for some reason. I liked that they put mushrooms on it and it had lots of meat though. I would ask for Mayo on the bread next time if anything, cuz although it was super soft, it was a little dry. The ketchup and mustard they provided came in handy. The sweet potato fries were absolutely perfect, soft, and salted well. The wings were great. I love lemon pepper, and they have big wings here. They were fried nice and hard, although next time I'll see if I can get all flats, even for an extra cost. The drummettes were a little too hard and almost tore up the roof of my mouth, if it wasn't for the ranch. The flats were perfectly cooked and seasoned though. I would see if I could extra celery next time too, as the portion on that seemed a little lacking. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. I would like to try more wings and sweet potato fries, as well as their Reuben and French dip (two of my other favorites). This is a great place to get take out from if you're in the Tucker area. We ended up here after a Braves game Memorial Day weekend. I have only lived in the area for the past 3 years and was looking for a good burger and beer joint. Local 7 didn't disappoint. The burgers were good and my companion enjoyed the fish and chips. I also enjoyed their beer selection. Finally the service was great, especially considering that we were there on the last night of the three day weekend that I am sure was busy for the staff. We will be back. read more

The benches outside were pretty cute. When we went in we sat down pretty quickly. Unfortunately it took us over an hour to get food from the time we sat down. Pretty ridiculous. In that time we did receive chips and salsa. It was pretty sad. The food was unremarkable. I got a veggie wrap. It was nice and fresh but pretty empty. The people I was with got two different burgers and they said it was okay. Another one got a salmon salad but she said it was okay. The sear on the salmon was good but we could've made a better salad at home. The restrooms are shared with some of the other restaurants I think. It was trash. Stinky and dirty. Freakin' Incan was closed on Veterans' Day Sunday this year so our lunch plans were instantly dashed. But Local No 7 was a short walk away so we decided to check them out. Seems like your typical sports bar with some good ole' American bar food. It was bustling on a Sunday afternoon - there was a Falcons game and a Atlanta United game, so every TV had something playing. Our server was hard to flag down but when he WAS around he was super friendly and helpful. We ordered the chili, which according to the menu was award winning. We also decided to try the steak and fries, which also came highly recommended by our server (over the fish and chips). The chili was pretty tasty, especially with all that cheese. The steak was cooked well, but the chimichurri was a bit thick and chunky and weird to me but the taste was fine. Fries and greens were average. Overall, Local No 7 is not bad. It just seems like your typical bar with good ole American food. It's a bit out of the way for me to come back, but it's pretty good if you're looking for something of the sort in the area. read more

I really liked the vibe of this place. Though it wasn't extraordinary food, I could see this easily being a go to place to have dinner and a drink, relax and watch a game. On our visit, it was really busy, so the staff seemed overwhelmed, but they still took care of us. We didn't feel rushed, got to enjoy the outside and sit at the bar while we ate and watched tv and caught up with our family. N they had a good selection of beers and cocktails. We spent a few hours cozied up at the bar, on a Sunday afternoon. The Braves game was on & the draft beer was cold n tasty. I enjoyed the dry county summer fest draft. We shared the nachos. What better place to visit on your Birthday is visit the Local 7. This place is a short drive from Stone Mountain park. We asked to sit outside which was a little wait but not bad as the others who had to wait over hour. The Buffalo chicken wrap was really good very impressive spicy flavor but I do recommend getting the green beans versus the tater tot's. read more

Local 7 sits on Main street, on the strip with a couple other nice places to eat. It's right on the end, and near the train tracks. Parking can be found on the street or across the street near the tracks. We dropped in on Easter Sunday to check them out. I had been to this area before on my birthday a couple months back, and thought it was a nice scene to be around. It feels very small town and you almost wish they had more stores in the area to liven it up some. Local 7 serves up a wide variety of American food, and the menu was almost overwhelming. I couldn't decide what to eat because of the options. There is an outdoor patio that has mostly bench seating, and some ledge seating at the end. The inside was darker but typical bar set-up. I actually liked the ambiance of inside but we decided to take advantage of the nice weather and do outside. This outside part is pet friendly, and they do have a water bowl for pets. It's not a big space but still comfy enough. They had a couple options for draft (6-7) and I ended up with the Hefeweissen (which was good). My honey ordered a Pinot they were out of, and ended up getting a Chard. The waiter did a good job of checking on us, and drinks (along with tall waters of glass) were brought quickly. I ended up doing the Buffalo Burger with fries. It came out, and had thick bacon, blue cheese crumbles and hot sauce on it. It was decently good, just wished it had more hot sauce on it. The fries were good as well. I'd certainly rank my meal a 3. One important note is they seem to share a bathroom space with the other places in the complex (i went to use the bathroom, and it was in the back tucked away in a long hallway that seemed to connect all the other businesses. This place is right on Main Street in Tucker. Great spot to catch the game of grab a drink. Plus the tater tots are AMAZING. Seriously I don't know what they season them with, but it's delish. Great burger selection including the build your own. If you want something a little lighter, they've got that too. I love that they have "soda pop cocktails" that make it unique plus your standard beer, wine and mixed drinks. There's a lunch menu for the week that looks good. Prices are very reasonable. Lil John is a burger with 2 slices of bacon, fried egg and cheese on it and was cooked just right. Parking here can be a challenge but I think there's a lot of parking on side streets if you don't get one of the coveted spots in front. Not fancy - kind of a seat yourself place. I have been to this place more than couple of times after work as it is closer to my work place. The Local No. 7 is located at the corner of Main Street and Railroad Avenue in downtown Tucker, Georgia. Family friendly pub featuring a menu of beer, specialty & build your own burgers, wings and salads. A good place for burgers and beers after work. Great service and atmosphere with delicious food and drinks. Their Grilled Chicken Burger with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, and garlic aioli mayo is very good. Cocktails are also on point as I would suggest the Apple Crusher with ginger beer, Bush-mill whiskey, apple juice and a slice of lime. Good place to meet with friends or family. Their Kitchen Sunday timings Thursday 11 AM to 10 PM, Friday and Saturday 11 AM to 11 PM, Bar timings Sunday to Wednesday till 11 PM, Thursday to Saturday till 12 AM. They do have Team Trivia on Mondays at 8 PM and Adult Team Trivia on Fridays at 9 PM. They also have outside seating. The parking is free on streets in front of the restaurant/pub. The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant is a perfect addition to Main Street Tucker. It feels like a local bar/pub but is well-maintained and clean when you eat or drink there. Large booths are available for 6-8 person parties while the two-tops and high tables can be kept solo or pushed together. All staff are very attentive and helpful. If you need anything, the servers and hosts are on it. The bartenders are always churning out great cocktails and freshly-poured beers for the bar and the whole dining room. Cooks take care to prepare exactly what you want and how you want it, but quickly too. Definitely recommend and I will be going back for sure. read more

We chose to sit "outside" at their patio area that faces the traintracks...BTW "Woot-Woot!! & wave to the train conductors for every time a train passes by! We are regulars here. We would come for the hot wings but now that isn't the case anymore since they changed the hot buffalo sauce. Instead of a traditional buffalo sauce it's like a buttered Thai chili. Very disappointing. Always great service and beer though. read more

Lots of light. Great bar. We had a couple of pitchers of Sweetwater. Great drink selection. Would love to come back and try the soda drinks. For food, we started with some wings and chips. This is a cool, hip local spot outside of Atlanta in Tucker GA. I ordered a build your own burger as did the husband. Both of our burgers were cooked perfectly and served with tator tots! Who doesn't like tater tots!? My daughter ordered a club sandwich which was packed with meat and also w/ tater tots. All of our food was excellent! Sweet tea: On point The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the bathroom. While the bathroom is shared with the whole building, I don't think it should be in that condition when serving food to customers. The stall walls and doors were covered in matter and clearly not wiped off regularly, if at all. I did ask the server about the bathroom and also told her of the condition. You can find the Local 7 at 2316 Main Street, Suite A, Tucker, GA 30084 right next to the railroad tracks that splits downtown tucker and directly across from local food landmark, Matthew's Cafeteria. Parking is along the street or in the lot next to Matthew's. I've eaten at Local 7 a number of times and in general the experiences have been good - this is a local pub favored by those in the area and it can get quite busy, especially on the weekends. I think it would be even busier except that local foot-traffic is limited. I'm a big fan of Tucker's recent renovation of their historic downtown, however most of local city residents live a bit too far away to walk there and the streets for the most part aren't very pedestrian friendly. The city doesn't really have the population density near downtown to make it very vibrant, though it is trying. The restaurant itself is a glass-fronted shop-front in classic red-brick. The interior is very eclectic with a long bar along one side, tables and booths and a nice outside patio along the railroad tracks. Walls are festooned with adverts for local breweries and there are bicycles hanging from the ceiling, courtesy of Fat Tire (and New Belgium Brewing). I like the atmosphere quite a bit. The food is your typical pub food with wings, burgers, sandwiches and the like - they do serve tater-tots if that's your starch of choice and I thought the onion rings quite good. I've had the Reuben Sandwich which I thought good if not great. Don't bother with the fish and chips - it's cod but the tail cut which really should never be used (tough and curled). We sent this back twice. I think Local 7 is really more about the atmosphere and the craft beer selection. I've enjoyed a really nice Boulevard Coffee Stout. The specials on tap seems to change fairly frequently with a bunch of fixed brands. The bottle list is above average for a place this size with lots of variety and some fine craft beer represented. I've also managed to try a dessert here, a German chocolate cake which was good but not great (a bit dry and frozen). Stick with the beer and the basics and I think you'll be happy. The service I've experienced has been quite good. The other patrons for the most part seem to ignore you if you don't know them but there's at least a bit of diversity as you scan around so, while you may not be part of the recognized local crowd, you don't get the attitude you might while visiting a downtown Atlanta pub. One thing that's a little weird is that the bathrooms are shared with the building so you exist the back (there's a common hallway) to use the facilities - efficient but a bit odd. I must say, this place blew me out of the water. For all its casualness--for appearing to be "just another neighborhood bar," I was really impressed with the food. And even though the bartender also had to come outside to serve us, this didn't stop service from being really good. I had a the pork wings, some chili, and a few of the fried green beans. Yes, I said "pork wings." This is a trimmed down pork shank, cooked to perfection, and served with Carolina mustard barbecue sauce. I thought they were spectacular. The chili is allegedly award winning. I can see why. Hearty and with a good burn. I'm getting hungry again just thinking about it. And the fried green beans are a hit. I've had this kind of dish elsewhere, but somehow these remain memorable. This is possibly the least healthy way to eat green beans, but you should still do it. I swung by for lunch one afternoon and went with the 1/2 soup and 1/2 sandwich for $6.50. -1/2 Brunswick Stew Soup: This was very tasty! Just have to try it if you're ever here. -1/2 Grilled Veg Panini: It was okay and tasty. Consisted of tomatoes, mushrooms, sautéed onions, baby arugula, and swiss cheese. Balsamic vinaigrette, which highlights the panini as far as flavor goes. Will be back to try more items on the menu such as the burgers, which is a highlight here. NEVER...AGAIN... my hopes were so high for this little restaurant in the square. However, it was a waste of money and absolutely disgusting... we started with chips and dips, and fried pickles, that was delicious. However, the main course was so bad nobody really ate anything... my hamburger has the LONGEST hair found in it, the fish and chips (which was recommended) was the worst thing I've ever had, and the steak with chimichurri sauce (oily green sauce) was rubbery and tasted like a frozen steak warmed.... Been a customer since this restaurant opened, so I was surprised at the poor quality of tonight's meal, The French Dip sandwich had about as much meat as the smallest Arby's. The "rare" roast beef was grossly overcooked & crunchy around the edges. The tots were undercooked & soggy. Yhe sad thing is that this was the better meal. The fried fish was 2/3 breading. I used to recommend Local 7 to people looking for a good place to eat, drink, and socialize. Not anymore. Our server tonight was completely inattentive, and believe me we don't require much in the way of attention. I've been to Local No 7 a bunch of times and the service seems to be lacking more and more. Today was no exception. Even though there weren't that many patrons it took forever to get drinks, menus and our order taken. (The server was good at refilling drinks.) It also took forever to get our food and they must've made my husband's after mine because his burger and tots were hot while my salmon was cool on the edges, warm in the middle and my mashed potatoes were cold. I sent them back and told the server not to bother bringing out any more. (I ate some of my husband's really good, hot tots.) I'm really disappointed that no manager came out to speak with me. The server wouldn't make eye contact with us and we finally had to ask for the check. If you want a better dining experience go down the street to the Blue Ribbon Grill where the food is always good and hot and the service better. read more

They have a wonderful staff, and a very expansive bar. The Margarita special they make is so yummy. My favorite Nosh is the French dip with extra Swiss. I just crave the very tasty rate roast beef. It's a super cool place , next to the railroad tracks in Tucker. The decor is very pub like with antiques hanging about. Anyway glad I live close by. read more

The wings are good, my only complaint is they don't have any sauces hot enough for me. The "Effin Hot" is more like mild. This time I had the Buffalo burger with bacon and blue cheese. Very tasty!! BEST BURGER I HAVE HAD IN YEARS! Honestly brought a tear to my eye just remembering it. I made a burger, black angus 1/2lb MED RARE with pimento cheese, mushrooms and a fried egg. It was so beautiful I swear it was art, gorgeous egg that was perfect cut up on top, didn't need mayo it was so juicy an flavorful! I also got a side of the no. 7 sauce, has a bite to it nice but it distracted the flavor of the burger. The fries went cold quick since 20mins had past but tasted great in the no. 7 sauce. My tater tots stayed hot even after 20mins so I will continue to order those in the future. I look forward to trying more items on the menu but after the burger today I fear I would be let down, because it was that good!
