Great food! We love the pizza and salad from this place! It's been our new to go place for pizza!

Okay, I am Italian and I LOVE my pizza pies! This little gem is probably one of my my most favorite little pizza joints around town. I have tried a few down in the south part of Houston, but this place stands out amongst them all! The best part is they sell it by the slice!!!!!!! My BFF and I stopped in tonight to have a slice of pizza and were trying out the wine bar next door. Figure ah why not? After all, pizza and wine go so swell together. For me, more like a match made in food heaven! And This place will bring it over to you as well (if you order it to go)! The service was quick and the pizza arrived HOT and fresh! I had the HawaiianTelli with Heat and it was amazing! If you love pineapple, ham, bacon, jalapeño on your pizza, this is your match. I was in love at first bite! I'm a snob, I admit, and the prospect of eating dinner outside the loop and even outside BW8 worried me. I had visions of chain restaurants (Chilis, Applebees, barf) dancing in my head. I was pleasantly surprised by this small neighborhood eatery. It's in a strip mall with a rather large number of outdoor sidewalk seats. Perfect on a beautiful October evening! Bring your dog too! Service was attentive and friendly, not to mention prompt. A good thing considering the place was busy - table turnover was efficient. I saw lots of people pulling up for take out as well. The pizza was delicious with a good thin crispy crust. Generously sized. Salads were fresh and green (I hate when salads are white). Loved the motto - put a telli in your belly! read more

Without a doubt the best pizza place in houston! I've been looking too ever since I moved from Chicago. It's a thinner crust but the flavors are excellent! Hearty toppings and they sell by the slice which one is filling. They sell beer and they have other menu options I look forward to trying once I tire of their pizza which could be awhile. read more

One of our favorite pizza shops. My wife and I have been here many times, and they never disappoint! We usually get an appetizer and a slice of whatever pizza we are feeling that day. Great pizza joint! The crust is crispy, the sauce is delicious, and the toppings are generous. The salads are HUGE and fresh! We tried the Popeye's Last Supper....that one salad was enough for two meals! I've been to both locations (Grant & 2920) and neither one disappoints. read more

Very tasty pizza! And I love that they have the option to put alfredo sauce on the pie instead of marinara. Yum! The joint was overly crowded when we were there and had to wait outside in the cold for a table. We finally got a table after about 30 minutes but we were still sitting in the crowd. There are people waiting everywhere for a table! It is crazy! But the restaurant is reallyyyy small, luckily a second location is opening soon. They only serve beer and wine. Boo. And there's only one TV in the place. But it's not a bad joint for a being a local eatery. read more

Great neighborhood pizza place -- my favorite pizza in the area. These guys have a way with dough -- great crust. Sandwiches, in my limited experience, are also yummy, with light yet crusty bread. Had the Wild Turkey today -- quite good, but light -- no. Salads are serviceable -- always fresh, but a little heavy on the lettuce and relatively standard. Grab an outdoor table and enjoy! Takeout is very popular here as well -- if you sit outside at dinnertime you'll see a stream of folks picking up. read more

I wish the pizza came out faster but it was so delicious in the end that I didn't care!! I got the pizza that has spinach and pesto...SUPER delicious and healthy-ish lol The slice option is actually two giant slices too so if you're just trying it out, I'd recommend buying the slice. read more

We came in with little to no expectations. We left pleasantly surprised and with a new pizza spot! The waitress sat us really fast and was super nice for it being so busy. We ordered the stuffatelli. Man oh man!! The ingredients were so fresh and the crust was baked perfectly!! I was happy to take this pizza to work the next day for lunch. OMG! Great place for pizza subs and chianti! Our server (Melissa)- UH- MAY - ZING! So sweet attentive AND gorgeous! She made sure all details were cover and was really the sweetest! The manager- (Dawn) also came by a few times and chatted with us, told us about the restaurant AND walked us through the menu. A dude at the bar had a special pizza that looked amazing and Dawn- had them make it for me! The "CRAIGATELLI"! So good! We will be back. So a long time ago I was invited to a get together and someone brought this amazing pizza that I only had one slice of before it vanished! After learning where the pizza came from it took me a very long time to finally go check the place out myself. I decided to go on a Monday but good thing I saw that they were closed on Monday's before I drove over to the restaurant. So I made it a point to go the very next day. The food was great, the service was wonderful my only regret is not going sooner! I never understood the logic behind some restaurant joints closing on Monday's. Thin crust was delicious, order was wrong on delivery. I asked for double mushrooms on half a pizza, got mushrooms all over pizza.

On the way home from Tomball or someplace up the road, I decided to find a local Italian place because I was absolutely craving some spaghetti & meatballs from a good place. Well, we found that and more. They've got some great beer on tap and a good selection of wine which is definitely a plus when trying to get my wife to try a new place. I give this place a 3.5, actually. Got the stuffatelli pizza and it was okay. Wasn't bad but wasn't great. I didn't really like the cheese on it that much and the meatballs were kind of bland for my liking. The breadsticks was not that good but the toasted ravioli can start you off right. I also like the Greek Salad, that's the best thing I like there and if I want a Greek salad next time i would come back. read more

We visited Locatelli's this past Saturday evening, May 28th. We placed an order to be delivered to an establishment just a few doors down which was very convenient. The manager (I think that was him) greeted us, as well as many of the kitchen staff. The young lady who took our order was very professional and friendly! There were two 17" pizzas that we ordered, the CarnaTelli and the VegaTelli. The CarnaTelli consisted of sausage, pepperoni, ham, ground beef and bacon. The VegaTelli had tomatoes, mushrooms, red bell pepper, red onion and black olives. Both pies were delivered piping hot. Huge, huge slices!! The pieces of pizza were very easy to manage, not to soggy where they would droop, but sturdy enough to where they could be handled easily. I thought that the CarnaTelli was a little on the salty side just because of all the meat that was on it; however, was a meat lovers paradise!! The VegaTelli had all of the components that I love and enjoy, just felt it was lacking a bit with a flavor punch. I could have used some pepper or extra parmesean to liven it up a bit, but do not recall having any to add to my pie. read more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! I have been to Locatelli's over a dozen times now and have never been let down! The pizza is soooo good and they let you customize a slice any way you like! The service is always spot on and if a mistake is made, they go out of their way to make sure it is corrected. The pizza isn't the only delicious thing on the menu, though. They have a baked ziti that will make you scream hallelujah! I highly recommend this place to anyone! read more

This place is amazing! Unless you have grown up or live in the area you'd never know about. It is the underground slam dunk of ridiculously authentic pizza specials (Mexitelli/Texitelli) & superb Italian pastas. They have a bar area; always showing some kind of sport. Carry Out Service is fluid, quick & thorough. Only negative is the service/servers could be more attentive & available. 7/10 read more

Ughhhh.. this is hard. I once loved locatelli's on the little corner across from my cute little neighborhood. Oh why oh why would they stop making their dough fresh, in house everyday?! Why go to the frozen stuff made in bulk without the love? The pizza is fine... just not spectacular anymore. When asking about this, the answer I get is they cant make it fresh, in house every day... what?! You cant put the same quality and love in your pizza that you once did? What a shame :/ I sure wish you would! I will still go there as it is still a nice place with decent a decent beer selection and the service is too notch, but when I'm in the mood for a really fresh tasting pizza, I may have to drive a little farther :,( so sad. read more

New York style pizza! It's pretty great. The service is good and the pizza is good. Nothing significant to write home about, but I did enjoy being there and enjoyed the pizza. The space is a little small and so it would not be a good place to have a group come. Overall, good place for a slice of pizza. read more
