Wow, what an unexpected experience. It was very good but did remind me a little bit of going to a theme park. Let me explain. We went to celebrate a birthday, it was a Wednesday evening in July. Didn't expect too much of a wait for dinner since it wasn't near a holiday and also mid-week. When we arrived the parking lot was overflowing- and I mean overflowing into the surrounding parking lots. We were given a wait time of 20-30 minutes (which in hindsight seemed naive to think that would be it). When we were texted to come to the hostess stand it was approximately 25 minutes- so far so good. However we waited another 20 minutes or so to be seated. I do say this place was a well oiled machine. Lots of help and all of them pleasant. The lines of waiting people were organized in a manageable way. Once we were seated we had hot rolls at the table immediately and our server brought asked for water quickly. We ordered an appetizer and salads plus steak. All the food came out quickly, servers stopped by periodically to see if we needed anything. Our steaks were cooked as ordered. This is where it was like a well organized theme park experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was a completely packed and nonstop flow of patrons yet the wait for food was minimal and the service was good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is a chain restaurant that definitely has it figured out.

Of course we came for the rolls

Our experience was a 10/10 all because of Bridget!! She's literally the best server! She was so attentive, made sure we had what we needed before we needed it and was very personable. Make sure yall ask to sit with her, and I promise you'll have the best experience!

If I could give 3.5 stars I would. When this place hits it's incredible, but the service and food can be inconsistent. You're either going to get a three-star visit or a five-star visit and it just depends on the day. However, when it's good it's perfect! The mashed potatoes and gravy and baked potatoes are great, and I've never had a steak cooked incorrectly here. Also they have dirty sodas now, and the Vanilla Coke with cream was absolutely delicious!

Sunday late lunch. Crowded but under control. Many employees doing their jobs. We were sat quickly. Grilled shrimp starter. Excellent!! I had the 16 oz sirloin. Excellent!!! I also had a double salad, loved it. Tall draft beer , outstanding.

Our server Wesley was a gem. Very knowledgeable and funny. What I loved most was the attention to detail. And we never felt rushed. The manager stopped by the table to tell us the story behind the knives we'd chosen. He was personable and made you feel glad to be visiting the restaurant. The whole experience was elevated because of the exceptional staff. My son ordered the porterhouse, cooked to perfection. Our table also had the wagyu burger, chicken pasta and lamb chops. I could've eaten sides alone as my meal, they were generous portions and delicious. Dessert was the infamous Black Forest cake topped with pink cotton candy and edible flowers, made spectacular with dry ice. Others stopped to watch as it put on its show. My son received a complimentary bowl of ice cream for his birthday which he appreciated. The pastry chef is obviously very talented and unique in her ideas. We'd come back again just to try all the desserts. Prices are a bit high, but the environment and care and attention from staff makes it well worth it. All in all, a memorable evening!

We were in town for an event and were ready for dinner far earlier than our reservation but the hostess got us in no problem. Our server, David, was terrific. He is the only server who has ever convinced me that ordering Wagyu was worth the money. He sold us on the 14oz Australian Wagyu which in his words "was the best steak he had ever eaten" and after having it, I couldn't agree more. The steak was perfectly cooked, beautifully plated since we shared, and it melted in your mouth. The char on the outside was ridiculous in the best way. We also had oysters on the half shell broiled with Cajun butter, lobster Mac n cheese, and corn brûlée. All of it was delicious. I wish we would have ordered the bread with candlestick butter, it looked amazing. Totally worth the money, will make a drive from Columbus just to have that steak again.

We just had an amazing date night at The Lonely Pine Steakhouse!…read more The interior has been delightfully refreshed since their closure last year, and reopening this spring! It's got that coveted feel of cozy mid century modern, while the decor says you could have wandered in for a nice steak after driving out west headed for the desert. The chairs were very comfortable at the high top we were seated at, which isn't typical. The standard seating chairs were beautiful and looked even comfier! The massive wooden and brass bar is definitely the star of the show, and was packed the whole time we were there. My husband got the Dame Prue as his cocktail, it was gin based with rosemary and fresh flowers. It was beautiful and he said it was delicious. For the appetizer and salad, we split the foccacia bread and butter board with the herbed butter, ruby butter, and cowgirl butter; and each had caeser salads. I can honestly say it was THE best Caesar dressing I have ever had, and I'm a caeser snob. The "half" salad portion was definitely larger than any other side salad I have had recently. For dinner, we split the 24oz T-Bone, Mac and Cheese (the smoked gouda takes it over the top decadent!), and thyme braised onions and mushrooms for our entree and sides. For dessert, we got the Tres Leches cake to go, because neither of us could eat another bite. They were exceptionally busy tonight, but our server Becky was apologetic and kept us laughing. We were willing to wait for a truly farm to plate meal, and the wait was worth it. I am itching to go back and try some of the other options on the menu, it was hard to choose between all of them! Chef Madeline has outdone herself with this menu and revitalized restaurant space!

Our server, Becky, was so sweet and seems to thoroughly enjoy working for Maddy & The Lonely Pine. Great dirty martinis and I recommend their espresso martini as a dessert drink! We had our steak with the ruby butter (very bright flavors), herb butter and horseradish cream sauce. Paired with the cesar salad, everything was a flavor bomb. Over exceeded my expectations as it is a more laid back cozy vibe. Very happy to have been recommended to go there!

We started with the tasting and all of the selections on the sweet menu were absolutely delicious! I honestly would purchase them all by the bottle they were that good. Even though it was a little busy, we still were able to walk right up and get a spot and were instantly waited on and she did a wonderful job of keeping the tastings coming. We hadn't decided on dinner yet and my friend recommended we stay and eat because she loved the food - I am glad that I took her suggestion. I got the jambalaya and I do not think I have had such a flavorful jambalaya in Ohio much less a winery-type place. My mouth is honestly watering right now thinking about it. Our waiter for our dinner was quick and kind. Overall it was an amazing experience, especially for my birthday, and I will definitely be back - that strawberry rhubarb wine is calling my name again already!

We made our reservation about a month in advance, arrived early at 5:00 p.m. for our 5:15 seating, and were seated fairly quickly. Our waitress, Margaret, was friendly at first--but unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. We waited 45 minutes for our starter and an hour and a half for our entrée. What made it more frustrating was watching nearby tables--many seated after us--receive their meals, finish, and even turn over while we were still waiting. We finally left around 7:30 p.m., feeling very disappointed. The food at Cooper's Hawk is consistently excellent, which is why this experience was so discouraging. There were also billing issues: I had a birthday reward and several wine bottles through my membership available, yet the wine was still charged to our bill and the birthday reward wasn't applied until I pointed it out. Although part of it was corrected, we still ended up paying for the bottle that should have been included. We usually enjoy wonderful visits here, and Cooper's Hawk remains one of my favorite restaurants. However, this particular experience--especially the long wait times and billing confusion--was truly disappointing, and I would hesitate to dine in the same section again.
