Reproduced case; the original game cover did not look like this and was created by a user on the internet.

Very large selection of games, retro consoles and accessories available here. The service was also very great and friendly; I had no issues with that. However, if you're a collector, keep in mind that some games may have fake cover art or not be in the original casing. While this was not a massive issue to me, I do have concerns about how they're selling these games at in-box prices you can find on eBay while not even having the original packaging. Instead of the original inserts being in the boxes, there's cheap feeling printer paper inside (you can see the difference, too!). If you're going to reproduce a case for display purposes, at least disclose that these games are not in the original casing.

Do you guys do repairs, I have a ps2 slim that won't read discs and was wondering if it could be repaired here? If not is there any shop recommendations that could repair old consoles?

Just saw this. If you haven't had it repaired yet, I can do it.

Do they take $100 bills? I'm a teen working under the table for a family member and I get paid in one hundreds not 20 or anything like that, just wanna make sure if I go in to buy a console or anything I'm not gonna have trouble

We do take in large bills

I sold back a bunch of Nintendo Wii games, some Nintendo Wii accessories, remotes, and attachments, and some PS4 games.

Came by and bought some Nintendo Switch games. Decent selection and friendly staff. Overall, it is good to support local business. 1-Up Retro Video Games…read more My girl and I randomly stumbled across this place while we were just walking around, and as soon as I saw the sign, I told myself, I have to go in here! I grew up playing video games, and I still play here and there, so I already knew this place was going to be pure nostalgia for me and it definitely was. I was a kid in a candy story and totally geeking out! Walking around the store brought back so many childhood memories. They had games I honestly haven't seen in over 30 years, along with all kinds of consoles and games from different generations. Some of these games I probably would never play again, but just seeing them on the shelves took me back. It was cool seeing the old-school Nintendo video game magazines. Some of those magazines have to be close to 30 years old! The entire store was basically one big nostalgia trip. I didn't end up buying anything, but I still enjoyed just walking around and checking everything out. If you grew up gaming or have played on different systems over the past 40 years, this is definitely a place worth checking out.

I've been into Pokémon cards for quite…read morea while, so I was excited to take my girlfriend's kids to this shop for their very first pack-opening experience. Unfortunately, the visit was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The storefront looked boarded up with wood covering much of the exterior, and it was so dark inside that I honestly couldn't tell if the store was open. Once inside, my girlfriend's son politely asked the employee behind the counter how much a pack cost. The employee responded with, "I can guarantee it's more than you have in your wallet." I was shocked by how rude and dismissive that was, especially toward a kid. That's not the kind of welcome I would expect from an employee. I then told him I wanted to purchase three Prismatic Evolutions packs. He looked at me and said, with an attitude, "You know they're like $20 each, right?" I told him that was fine, but the interaction left a bad impression. What should have been a fun and memorable experience for the kids turned into an uncomfortable one because of the poor customer service. I spent $100 on 6 packs of cards and i was going to buy more cards but didn't want to give them anymore business. I won't be shopping here again and cannot recommend this store based on my experience.
