We had a great time at Loft18. We visited on a Monday, it was also Memorial Day so they were running a half off special for each hour. The bay was ready upon our reservation time and had plenty of of seating for our party of 8. We were greeted by our server right away and was able to order drinks immediately. The place itself wasn't busy at all, only two other bays occupied (total 5) and the restaurant and bar area had a couple people. We arrived during happy hour so we were able to get some appetizers at a discounted price. My party consisted of two children and six adults. We were able to play several virtual games from golf, football, baseball, basketball, skeet ball, and zoobie dodgeball during our two hours, which was plenty. The food and drinks were served hot and we had no complaints. Our favorite was the beignet fries which was perfect to split between a large party. While I've had a great experience with the staff, the food, and the service, I wonder why you only broadcast men's sports programs and not women's. When I inquired on 2 separate occasions from 2 different managers on differnt days, I was told that you don't pay for "those networks." What exactly does that mean? Do you not want to prioritize female customers or encourage them to come here? Additionally, you appear to only hire female servers who are required to wear skimpy uniforms, yet this is a "family" establishment. I don't see any of the men that work here in questionable, revealing attire. The two "managers" that I spoke with were male, who were dressed relatively conservatively. Do you have any female managers on staff? It appears as if you only want to attract male clientele and female patronage is not a priority. I also see families in here all the time, with both young boys and young girls. Are we signaling to our youth, in 2025, that only male sports and male's needs matter? You can do SO much better and I hope you do. It might actually bring in more business if you were concerned with diplomacy and cared about equal access to everyone who visits your establishment. Shout out to the amazing women you have actually keeping this place afloat. They have been the most positive part of my experiences here. From my vantage point, they're keeping your business afloat. Just opened and great friendly service. Also best burger in Mandeville. Perfectly cooked medium which most places mess up. Upscale casual bar feel. The simulators bays are great and not just for golf. Soccer and Football skills too. Best way to maximize your time is to only snack in the bay and have your meal before or after playing. read more

My wife and I decided to give this place another chance, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. The bathrooms were disgusting, and the screen kept freezing on us. The service was subpar--our server, a red-haired woman, was not attentive and spent most of the time on her phone. I had to go to the bar to get my drinks. On the plus side, the food and drinks were the only redeeming qualities. I particularly enjoyed the red bean wrap and the Old Diamond. Looks like I am the first to write a review so maybe I will get some attention. I am a big fan of Loft, have been to the one in Metairie and now a couple times in Mandeville. Regular customer. I go there to do the golf sim with friends and its great. Great service and the manager always come by to check on us. The burgers there are good. Have had other of their offerings in Metairie and not so hot I would say but I dont care, i dont go there to eat so what is my complaint - the music! I am someone who notices music, I can't help it. Doesn't seem to bother anyone else but it does me. I have asked them to change it and they do which is nice. but i hate doing that. So the music is on a cycle I guess and when its on what I would call modern music cycle it sucks. I dont even know who these performers are but you know, taylor swift, Kendrick Lamar, ashante. whatever I have to shazam them to even know. and when its on the rock cycle just the most anodyne, boring classic rocks songs, or even worse grunge. so my suggestion is, dont play modern music before say 730, before that the average age in there is maybe 40. try to find some interesting rock or blues or country. heck i would even take yacht rock over what they play OK, rant done read more

Drinks are too sweet. I was excited to try this place and the food. We got a bat for 10:45pm. Kitchen "closed" at 10pm and I saw people getting food around 10:45pm. At 11pm I tried to order food and they said I couldn't because the kitchen was closed. I was so hungry so I told my husband and friends that I was going to doordash food. The waitress told me her manager wouldn't allow people to bring outside food in so I had to go outside to eat my food. Very pricey for what it is. A bay for 2 hours was $140.00 before tax and 20% gratuity. An appetizer, two entrees, a few drinks, and another 20% gratuity added (we were told we wouldn't pay gratuity twice) was around $230.00. That puts everything right under $400 for two hours. Why is the hostess asking for an $80 tip? I made a reservation and paid the deposit online so the hostess only had to click my name and spin the iPad around when we arrived. On the screen it requested an $80 tip which i assumed would go to our server & bartender for the day but when i asked what the extra $80 was for I was informed it's just for the hostess. Sorry but that's a lot of money for someone just standing at the front door checking your name off a list. She wasn't even nice about it. I declined to give the unfriendly hostess an $80 tip but we had an amazing server & bartender who we tipped generously. We had fun & service was great but won't go back because of the questionable request for money at the front door. On Saturday, July 15, my wife and I took her 10-year-old son, who is celebrating his birthday, to LOFT18 for a day of fun. We had a reservation for 3 PM, for 90 minutes. We arrived 10 minutes early. Upon arrival, we were asked to wait "for a few minutes" while they get our bay ready. We waited for 25 minutes and we were eventually brought to our bay at 3:15. Considering they charge in advance by time, and we had already paid for 90 minutes, I asked them if we would receive an additional 15 minutes at the end of our time, due to them bringing us to our bay late. We were told that the group before us simply refused to leave, which is why they brought us to the bay late, but that in order for them to get back on track, we would not be offered any additional time. Well, it may be true that the previous group didn't want to leave, but ultimately, it's the responsibility of the business/management to manage their business appropriately, and is not the responsibility of the next party to pay for something that they don't fully receive because management didn't know how to manage the business/situation appropriately. Therefore, they charged us for 90 minutes, wouldn't give us extra time or refund the time already paid for that we wouldn't receive and we were only given 75 minutes in the bay. They did come over about four times leading up to the end of our time to ensure that we were leaving at the scheduled time. Disappointing. Additionally, we all ordered food, but they brought my wife's and my meals out together without our sons meal. We were told his meal would be out shortly, but we waited 18 more minutes, and his food still didn't come out. When I inquired, the waitress looked surprised, and said she would check. Five minutes later, his food came out (over 20 minutes after mine and my wife's). However, due to them not bringing all the food out at once, my son, who was hungry, ate some of mine and my wife's meals. While we obviously didn't mind sharing, we both lost part of our meals due to their "mistake" and by the time my son's meal was delivered, he was already full and my wife and I were still hungry due to not being able to eat our full meal, but we didn't want what our son ordered. The manager compensated 50% of our meals for all of their mistakes, but not getting the amount of time we paid for, and then not having all the meals brought out at the same time really made our experience less than it could (should) have been. With all of that said, we were not impressed and will not be returning nor will we be recommending this establishment to anyone else we know. I hope they are able to manage their business better and that future patrons have a better experience than we did. read more

This place is great! It's fun for adults or families, my kids 16 and 21 had a great time and so did we. Our waitress Sofia was the sweetest! My problem and reason for only 4 stars is this, when you enter and give the hostess your info and what you want as far as bays, they charge you, normal, but flip the screen for you to add a tip and pay. Not thinking we hit 20% then realized we tipped this girl $16 dollars to take our payment! Why do we now tip the person that takes our payment? This frustrates me! I'd thus normal now? Wth?? If sticking to 20% then that girl got tipped more for literally 2 minutes than our waitress who worked 2 hours. Just dumb, the waitresses deserve all the tips. My opinion and I know we didn't have to leave the tip but I guess we thought we were opening a tab, still odd to tip first. Just be aware and save the tip for actual service.
