Avoid this business. I have never been treated so poorly as a customer.. The gentleman this review is about is the guy who owns the race car at Loftin's. I arrive at Loftin's to get my car inspected. The gentleman starts to inspect my car. 3-4 minutes after he starts inspecting he walks in the waiting room where I'm sitting and tosses my registration at me and says in a very rude tone:"You reset your battery so the Check Engine Light would go off so you can pass the car inspection didn't you!?" "You thought you could get away with it, but your not!" I had no idea what he was talking about. I felt like I was in a police station interrogation room being interrogated by a psycho detective on a crime I didn't commit. It caught me off guard, so I was a little dumb founded. What actually happened was my car would not start about a week before so I took the cables off the battery to clean them due to built up battery acid corrosion. I ended up having to jump it off from my neighbors car battery. Since I've had the car the Check Engine Light has never come on, but this guy at Loftin's starts accusing me of tampering with my car so it would pass. I've never been to any business where someone accuses me of things and talked to me in the manner that this guy did. To bad the rating system only goes as low as 1 star because this place should be in the negatives. read more

Every person that drops their vehicle off at my shop is told their vehicle will be repaired in the order it came in . there is also (3) three signs in the waiting room pertaining to this subject. I also have cameras inside and out of my shop recording our encounters. when you called the next morning, you were told the same thing again, there was no update to give, and if you had to have it before i finished the vehicles in front of you , you could come get your vehicle at any time. when you came to pick up your vehicle you were pissed and you wanted me to know it! when I stated I was trying to have a conversation with you, could you calm down. you liked that even less!!! when you started cussing me and the f--- word came out your mouth, I let you have it !!!!!! 99 % of the people that come in my shop are nice , we have conversations about all kinds of stuff. Most people say I am a very nice person.......... but to you kye s. and people like you I promise you will not enjoy the encounter and you will NEVER come out of it on top !!!!!!!!!!!! Owner was a complete jerk. When I asked how long it would take to get a checked engine light on he said I'll get to it when I get to it and you can just wait, didn't care for that but i still gave him my keys and patiently waited 3 hours. After hearing no updates before closing as I tried to call multiple times without an answer my car was kept overnight. The next day when I called to get an update after he kept my car overnight I was met with hostility and rudeness and the owner said I should just come get the keys if I expected to be treated special. Needless to say I didn't do business with this establishment due to lack of professionalism and overall decency. Would never go back here and certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone read more

Well I have atleast 3 people a week mad at me directly because their car wont pass a inspection!! The one and only thing in my bussiness that I have absolutely no control over and I catch alot of grief over it! I know it's frustrating when you need to pass to get a tag ! But I don't make the laws! But I do help alot of people get waivers for inspections and even more with keeping their car maintained for inspections! I have alot of happy appreciatetive customers! To the rest of you I only treat you how you treat me!! It's hard to be nice when you're catching grief for the DMV. read more
