Hmm well let's say this place started out fantastic. Then going down hill over the past month. Been here in town for the past two months and we tried this place one morning 3 guys ordering steak and eggs it was very good at first. We tried it a few more time and it seemed like they either changed vendors for meat or started serving lesser cuts all fat and gristle. Nothing like paying 14.00 for a junk steak and burnt toast. That said we tried it 2 other times and can you believe they burnt the toast and overcooked eggs two days later? Steak was still sub-par . Who does that at a breakfast restaurant? Really ? There is something for everyone here! The menu had everything from a kids menu to a senior menu. There is breakfast served all day too! Burgers, seafood including shrimp Alfredo and grilled haddock, steaks, sandwiches, some of the best BBQ ribs around, great deep fried chicken even better than kfc. They are open Tuesday through Thursday 5 am to 10pm. Friday and Saturday they are open 24 hours a day! Sunday and Monday they close at 9 pm! read more

This is the kind of place you go to when you're not sure what you want and food quality takes a backseat to curbing your hunger pangs. We ordered Denver Omelets with extra crispy hash browns and english muffins. We were served lukewarm food with pale white potatoes and burned muffins. The waitress offered no apology for the burned muffin, only stating that they like to run through twice to make sure they are cooked. They should have been so concerned over the undercooked potatoes. If they don't care about giving me lukewarm burned food then I don't care to spend another cent in this establishment. It's perfectly fine dinner food...we have not been here for breakfast, which is their declared specialty...just absolutely nothing spectacular. We had to wait quite a while for the server to notice we'd been done for 20 minutes, though, to be fair, it was 7 o'clock and, therefore, the busy time of the evening. The food was ok. Despite the mixed reviews, I thought this place did a solid job on traditional Midwest diner-fare. Breakfast served all day (can't beat that!), order coffee and you get a pot let on the table (hey, sometimes quantity and convenience beats quality), generous portions. My wife thought it was greasy but I'm not sure what she was expecting, ordering some sort of "skillet scrambler". Had a massive menu with lots of traditional comfort food. After reading the reviews, I wish we had gone for breakfast instead of dinner. The restaurant is clean and maintained but the décor is a little dated. I ordered the steak sandwich and it was like a piece of shoe leather. Really bad. My husband ordered the fettuccini and said the sauce was horrible (it was really watery). We will not be back. My husband and I enjoyed a tasty poor man's lobster dinner here last Friday. The serving sizes are good -- I got the two-piece, while my husband had the three-piece. Because I don't care for caraway, I requested a white dinner roll instead of the one that is traditionally served with this meal. They are very accommodating about this request. Their coleslaw is delicious. And the fish was perfectly prepared and wonderfully tasting! When you enter the restaurant, you can go either to the right or to the left. Right takes you to an area where you can sit at a u-shaped eating space on stools or in a row of booths along the sides. There is also one larger table at the back to accommodate more than four people. I always think of this side as more diner-like. This is my husband's preference for seating. However, I prefer to be seated to the left, a more traditional dining room setting with carpeting, hanging light fixtures, a large fireplace, and just a cozier atmosphere. The restaurant is always clean and inviting. The servers work hard and are very pleasant and easy to work with. Their menu is also quite extensive and varied. It can be a tough choice. But, whatever I've ordered at the Log Cabin has always been tastefully satisfying. read more

For Christmas, I normally I buy my husband two $25 gift cards from Dennys. They have always had a deal that for every $25 gift card you purchase, you got a $5 coupon. You also got extra coupons but they are the same ones that come in the paper/mailings. This year Dennys no longer gave a $5 coupon. I was displeased with this and so only bought one $25 gift card. I decided instead to buy the second $25 gift card at Log Cabin. Much to my surprise, you had the similar offer to Dennys old offer. The Log Cabin had a promotion that If you purchase a $50 gift card you got an extra $10 added to the card. Next year, if you have this promotion, I will only be getting my gift cards solely from the Log Cabin and not Dennys. My husband actually prefers Log Cabin food but they can be a little pricey and this helps a lot. read more

We really like this place. they have the best cheese curds! It is not upscale, but they cook food right then, it is fresh, and it is just like at home. They also have really good English muffins! Very good pancakes also.The servers are always nice, and many have been working there a long time. They also have a birthday sundae that is so yummy! A locally owned and family run business that has never lost the small family owned business feel. It is a full service restaurant with a "Cheers" kind of feel...where "...everybody knows your name." The owners Keith and Marlene are so visible and friendly with the customers, this is part of what keeps us coming back! And the support that the owners give to community events is heartwarming too. Even when there is a wait to be seated (it's obvious why there's a wait, because it's worth it) the service was always good for us, very friendly staff. And the food comes out timely and I have never ordered something I did t like. Last time I went here was during prom during my senior year of high school. Me and a bunch of friends reserve tables so after prom we can enjoy the night longer with our dates. As we got there it was kinda empty but I am not going to complain because it felt like we reserve the whole building since no one was there. We were quickly serve and having fun then our food came. Me and all my guys order steak and we all basically order it as "Medium-Rare" and as the dishes came out, my eyes are popping out like this is probably one of the most horrid place I've witness, The steak looks okay on the outside but as I started to slice a piece off, BLOOD was flowing everywhere!! "THIS IS NOT MEDIUM RARE AND THE COOK NEEDS TO GET FIRE OR SOMETHING FOR NOT EVEN TESTING THE FOOD" was going around my head and I demanded to get a full refund as I quickly lost my appetite. My buddies quickly follow up and we all got full refunds and vow not to go there ever again until it get new managements. What a find! We were visiting the area and visited the Log Cabin for breakfast. This was one of the most well managed places I've ever seen. It is impeccably clean and the service was outstanding. When the food servers weren't waiting on customers, they were circulating in the dining areas, or tending to other tasks. Our party of five went there for breakfast and we all had excellent meals. In fact, someone in our party ordered the steak and eggs and said that this was the first time she has ever ordered steak for breakfast, where the steak arrived exactly as she ordered it--medium rare. The icing on the cake was that in addition to the regular jams/jellies you see on restaurant tables everywhere (grape, strawberry, etc.), they had blackberry jam. I have never seen that in any restaurant. It's the tiny little details like that, that can really make a difference. Well done, Log Cabin! We will definitely be back. read more
