    Classic Cheeseburger
    Olivia J.

Was craving a burger so stopped into Logan's to get one of the best I've found around GR. They have a nice patio that I believe is dog friendly to enjoy during the summer. Interior is a classic dive bar vibe, they even have games to play while hanging out if it does happen to be a bit busier. We got the fried pickles to split to begin, the spicy ranch and a nice kick and were a great way to start the meal. The burger is a favorite of ours, I always upgrade to the p&p fries which are excellent! The buffalo chicken wrap is another great choice. Food and service are always great. Reasonable prices and always solid and delicious. We will continue to come by every time we're craving a burger! Logan's is our favorite stop for some great bar food.

    Chicken Tenders
    Karsen L.

Full disclosure: I come here just for the chicken tenders! But I stay for the endless selection of beer and cider on draft--and darts...which I somehow become a pro at after three drinks. The service here is stellar, whether you're at the bar or tucked into one of the cozy booths. About those chicken tenders? Battered in pickle juice (insane, I know) with fries that are seasoned to the gods. This place just gets it. And I'm sure my 7am healthcare friends agree!

Tried the chili dog! Hunger at the time 5.4/10 Dog: Well cooked. Nothing crazy here it's a hot dog! 7.3/10 Chili: Very good chili! Some beans I think! I think it's house made too! Flavor was really really good! 9/10 Bun: nothing too crazy here either but you don't need anything special! 6.7/10 Chips: Who cares really! Get fries if you want them! (side note: $2 off Two hearted on Tuesdays! Not too friggin bad)

Logan's Alley is one of my favorite Michigan Street bars, and IYKYK.... but honestly, it's a fan fav and a local spot for those who frequent the Michigan Street bars. It has a great outdoor patio (heated for those colder nights) and the bartenders and servers are lovely! But be warned, it's very busy most nights as there are a lot of local sport teams that come after their games throughout the weeks. There is a small parking lot that gets jammed packed and you can park across the street at the funeral home after hours if needed but be careful to cross at night! The food is great and I love the chicken caesar salad and have recently come to love the nachos! They recently redid the inside which was absolutely needed (though I do hear that the men's bathroom needs an upgrade) but you'll catch me here on the regular. It's probably one of those places that people could consider a "dive" but I would consider it a basic bar and it gets busy, it's loud and you shouldn't expect anything over the top when you order, but everyone is friendly and I love it!

-Solid BURGER -Friendly Team (seemed short-handed for Lunchtime though, both Kitchen & Serv) -Dive-bar feel, porch is nice for outdoor access but very limited Solid Bar if options are slim but probably not my personal first choice on Michigan St.

Logan's Alley is one of my favorite local spots. We have a bit of a tradition of going there for breakfast on Christmas Eve - unfortunately we got there too early this year and they weren't open yet, but we did get there on New Year's Eve for brunch. They serve brunch all day and open early. You'll often see hospital employees enjoying the patio early in the morning. The patio is covered and heated, which makes it a great spot for most of the year. The menu includes many bar favorites, and the chicken tenders are still my go-to. Nate got the breakfast quesadilla recently, which looked really good and was presented nicely, but was a bit bland. He added some salt, which helped, but really wanted some salsa. The scramble sandwich is another one of my favorites. Logan's Alley is known for their extensive tap and bottle list. I'm not much of a beer drinker these days, but always found something I wanted to try. They have their own parking lot, which is super convenient.

    Crab Rangoon dip
    Devin C.

Poutine Crab Rangoon chip dip I was a big fan of the poutine. The gravy and chunks of turkey were delicious and paired really well with the sweet potato fries. I was skeptical about the candied pecans and cranberries but they worked with the dish really well. And oh my god the crab Rangoon chips might be one of the best things I've eaten all year. Wontons were perfectly crisp, delicious dip, sauce was subtle but sweet. Definitely coming back here again. Only thing I will say is that the service was a bit... weird and the inside was really loud (I don't think it's usually like this - Sunday football was on and it is a sports bar sooooo).

Delicious food with great vibes. From their wraps to their chicken sandwich. So much flavor in everything.

    Breakfast quesadilla

The breakfast / brunch items here are amazing!! This is probably the best breakfast quesadilla I've ever had. Service is decent, atmosphere is like a hole in the wall even though it isn't.

Atmosphere is always bumping--there's live music and other themed nights and it was jam packed on a Tuesday night. Vibes and beers are unmatched in my opinion. Big fan of the Golden Ticket and the Wilde Irish Red Ale or again, whatever is on cask. As far as the food goes, it's definitely... brown plates all around. Fryz'licious was slightly overpowering with the amount of beer cheese slopped on there, but a good bite with some hot sauce. Big fan of the beer cheese. Those Nantucket Backing pretzels are 10/10. Fish and chips weren't great. Not a lot of fish--two pieces with more batter than cod. Sort of disappointed with that. St. Patrick's Day specialty menu replaced their chicken pot pie with a sheperd's pie and a Bailey's cheesecake. Sheperd's pie was a good bite, exactly what I'd imagine lamb, mashed potatoes, and peas/carrots would taste like. Cheesecake was heavy handed on the booze, but a good palette cleanser after all the fried food.

In fact, my kids laughed at my wife when she got a salad and wasn't overly impressed "Mom, why would you get a salad at a place with great burgers?!?" My thoughts exactly. The service is decent, the space is comfortable for a downtown spot on Monroe Center. When I visit, I focus solely on the burgers and I've never been disappointed. The 'Meat Wagon', topped with ribeye, ham and bacon just wants to cuddle your belly from the inside. The 'Otto Von Burger' topped with a fried egg and bacon is one of the best examples of its kind. The 'Alabamer' is great when you're craving pulled pork and bacon on your burger. If you just want a traditional burger, you have that option and won't be disappointed. We arrived right at 5 pm on a Friday and the place was almost full already! We were surprised but happy for them, and glad to get a nice cozy two-top in a back corner. We were greeted by our awesome server and ordered some food -- two different mortadella sandwiches and an order of fried pickles to start. Neither of us ordered drinks, but I saw some fun-looking cocktails coming over to nearby tables. The fried pickles came out first and they were perfection. I don't usually get this appetizer because I don't like fried pickle spears, but these were thin chips. The ratio of the fried pickle chip vs. spear is way better. And these came with the best runny ranch. It was a huge portion to split between the two of us, so we had lots left over. Our sandwiches came out shortly after and looked amazing. They were super stacked with tons of meat! I really liked the addition of the grainy mustard which helped cut through the fattiness of the meat. My friend liked hers - it had pistachio butter and ricotta (similar to a delicious sandwich I ate at a wine bar in Detroit). Portions are large and it's a cozy, neighborhood spot.
