My son and I ate here for dinner. We were sat immediately upon arrival. Large dinning space and also a good amount of parking space. We ordered: Potato skins - pretty tasty, cheese, bacon, and green onions were plentiful and they were cooked through so the potato was tender. This is served with sour cream; we added salt and pepper to help the flavor. Ribeye steaks - perfectly cooked medium rare with that grill flavor, really delicious, tender steak. Sides: baked potato w/ butter and sour cream - again perfectly prepared. Broccoli - steamed and solid offering. Salad - both had fresh ingredients, nothing wilted or "old" veggies, again - solid. Complimentary rolls and butter - my son devoured these soft pillows of carbohydrate sin. Our waitress wasn't very "present" - we waited for refills, check, and had to ask her to remove the app and salad dishes that were piling up. When we arrived we were told 20-25 min wait. The nice thing was we were seated in 5 Minutes. The atmosphere is casual but cozy, it's just loud. I expected a few more food choices but they had everything from American to Barbecue to Burgers. I will say the hot rolls they serve were wonderful and our server was great.We split a big meal and he brought our salad already split, extra plates, kept drinks filled. The food was good. The service is terrible, never checked up on, they brought the food out and didn't ask us if we needed anything. They didn't bring me the things that I did ask for after I asked multiple times. The problems here are considerable. First of all, my server and the rolls were SPECTACULAR. Other than this, every bit of food was worse than I would make at home. I ordered the surf and turf trio with mashed potatoes instead of rice with sides of cheesy broccoli and green beans. The green beans were ok but salty. The broccoli was insanely hot and good. The cheese was mediocre but tasted good. The mashed potatoes were well below good. I never ate them. The crab cakes didn't even meet average standards. They were overly breaded, too creamy, and far more filler than thriller. The shrimp was cooked. That's the best I've got to report on that. The "sirloin" steak was trash. Medium rare got me gray garbage falling apart. The restaurant is super clean and the server was amazing. Great ambience if that's all that matters. For the price, not worth it. I ate. The food came hot except the rolls. The salmon was embarrassingly small 2x4 inches for $22. I can say it was delicious. My spouse's steak was overcooked and wasn't seasoned. The fries were warm but hard as if they were reheated. The cheesecake was delicious. I took a chance to purchased delivery today but somewhat regret it. I don't know what everybody orders when they come here, but our meal was fantastic. Of course, we started with the yeast rolls. We then ordered 2 felets, medium rare, as they are supposed to be. For the sides, we got the broccoli, loaded baked potato, and green beans. The steaks were perfectly cooked, and the taste was better than expected. The veggies were fantastic. Great flavor. I'll be making my green beans and broccoli this way in the future. Our waitress was great. She was attentive and very helpful. We had our hands full with 2 very young children. Our time was spent keeping them out of trouble and eating, so I didn't get her name. I did tell the manager, though. The ambiance was nice. March madness was on, so that was nice. 54 year old here and almost couldn't get a beer My license is expired but my birthdate wouldn't change on a new one. Still waiting on my renewed one to be mailed to me (second time it's been ordered). Anyway I have multiple other ids with me in case I get pulled over. Waitress told me she didn't know if she could take any of it to prove my age. What? The federal government accepts them for me to fly out of the country. But I couldn't get a beer? I had my certified birth certificate, certified marriage certificate, expired driver's license and three socials showing every name I've had which matched up to the birth and marriage certificate and my photo id. It was insane. I was going to change my order to a nonalcoholic drink but she did finally bring me one. Service was at par at best. Bad start for her I suppose. She acted annoyed afterwards. Food- steak, medium rare cooked perfectly. Usually overcooked other places. So Thanks for that!! But the steak was grisly and fatty. Couldn't finish it. Salad was good. 1000 island was really good. The service started out good. Drinks and bread were brought to the table. Two tables came in after we did and got their food promptly. In the meantime the waitress brought us more drinks and bread, but no entrees. We decided to leave. We told the waitress who brought us our a bill for the drinks. The manager never came over. I tried to stop my wife from paying for the drinks. We actually had bad service the last time that we were there, but we thought that we would give them another chance. No more chances!! I warned another couple who came in after us about not getting our food. I saw the man looking around and wondering like I did. Poor excuse for a restaurant. Poorer excuse for management. The service was terrible, we went on a Friday night around 7 p.m. the place was not very crowded, we got our seat and the waitress gave us bread and drinks and a timely fashion, she even took our order's timely. The problem came when the group that got seat after us got their food and asked for the ticket and we still didn't get our food. So we asked for the ticket and that took 15 to 20 minutes and for the waitress to bring the ticket she said it took so long because her manage had to take the food off. Today we decided to go where I've wanted to go for a couple years to eat and thankful we did. Traffic has seen better days on a Sunday afternoon in Hixon, TN, nonetheless, we were able to have good parking in a very clean parking lot. It took about a min to be seated at a clean table. The music was a little loud for our taste, however we took into account we were directly 10ft away from a corner speaker in the restaurant so couldn't really complain. The menu had something for everyone! If you can't find anything you either TOO picky as my wife stated, or too full. We ordered a couple of appetizers; mozzarella sticks and fried pickle slices. The mozzarella sticks were great and had that desired initial crunch. The lightly-fried pickle slices had good texture and a noticeable tangy zing to those who enjoy them. If you're unsure about an appetizer, the best buttered fluffy rolls were huge and kept everyone at the table speechless, for the most part. As a main dish, I tried their Loganoff Stroganoff option. An iconic pasty dish with steak tips and toasted half rolls topped with cheese. As a fan of beef stroganoff I was more than pleased with my meal. Our waiting staff were very knowledgeable and polite. Unfortunately we found our cups empty for longer than expected. My wife's broccoli was not cold, but not hot as expected. Her salmon and shrimp were cooked perfectly and hopefully made up for room temp veggies. It comes with a small portion of mashed potatoes that I assume arrived at the plate at the same time as the broccoli. They did inform us her salmon and shrimp were finishing up as her plate was the last to hit the table minutes later. It is assumed her food was plated prematurely. No complaints from the little ones and empty plates never sat on the table for long, and we felt we were appreciated as customers here. The environment was family appropriate including music selection. Our kiddos had a great time and that means a lot for our family. The young-ins couldn't resist the Mississippi brownie desert, nor could we! One portion was more than enough for me and my wife. One additional portion left all three of our littles happily satisfied and rich enough that Wonka would approve. Our family left with plenty of left overs for later for everyone. Just 2 chops on a plate. So if you get a side try to pick a saucy one they need it. I attempted to order my chops medium, I even like them medium rare, but the chef said No they only cook them Medium-well. Bummer because as a paying customer I would think they would be cooked the way I like them. Seasoned ok but overall Medium-well over cooked & dry. Disappointing. If they are fresh and cooked properly for internal temp (as a good chef should know) there is no risk in having them Medium. Any pricey solid steak house will prepare them that way for you. The server also stated she didn't like any of the pork items. Very pricey for what you get. Two of us ordered the "fall off the bone" rib and chicken combo. You get about 4 chicken tenders and two ribs, plus your sides. The chicken was good, the ribs however, left a lot to be desired. They were very overcooked, dry, swimming in bbq sauce, and weren't about to fall off the bone! Sent mine back and got an even dryer two ribs. Inedible. Wasn't impressed, especially since the replacement ribs were even worse than the first ones. The burgers, fries and beans were good and so was the waitress. I hate giving bad reviews but they definitely need to work on how to cook ribs. So I stopped by here to grab a bite to take to work. I ordered a chopped steak combo plate, with ribs, green beans, and rice. The chopped steak was suppose to be medium, but it was well done, the ribs were charred, but salvageable. They have me a sliver of mashed potatoes, no gravy or mushrooms. The green beans & rice were great. The bartender was extremely nice & prompt. Was expecting a descent meal, especially with them not being very busy & not understaffed, but what I got was this mid evening is like the food you would get at closing time. read more

I ordered pickup.. Ordered fried cheese and bacon burger. For my fried cheese, I received 3 cold mozzarella sticks. Also received what had to have been a leftover burger patty. I've never had such a dry burger . For my full rack of ribs, half was undercooked, and half was over cooked. I'm not sure how that is possible. And my waffle fries came as soggy steak fries instead. We ate early on a Sunday. Wait staff was adequate and well trained. Just observing, it appeared two tables per waiter but it was only beginning to get busy. Our order was taken promptly from a waitress who didn't give her name but was friendly and came bearing warm yummy rolls. She brought our drinks quickly and kept them topped off through the meal. Our appetizer was fast and hot. Tasty Spinach and Artichoke Dip was served with crispy warm, but a little too salty, chips. Our main course was delivered just as we were finishing our dip. Steak was cooked as requested and moist and juicy. I easily sliced with a steak knife and the taste was of well-seasoned quality fresh beef. I did add A1 sauce after that bite, only to enhance the flavor. The shrimp was flavorful but a little chewy from being over-cooked. Ate here last night, got food poisoning after only eating two bites of our food that tasted terrible. Myself and three others ate here and all ordered something with pork. It was disgusting. Very disappointed in food quality & experience. I had Ribs which were dry and tough. It was late (9:45 pm), so I think they had been kept warm way too long. However, my partner had Beef Stroganoff which I assume was cooked to order and the meat was tough and more fat than meat. The pasta and sauce was quite good, but the meat ruined it. Service was also poor. I ordered baked beans and server asked if I had them there before. I stated I wasn't sure, why? She replied 'because they're not good and I don't recommend them'. So I was intimidated into ordering an alternate. Lastly, I ordered a salad and my partner ordered a soup. I'd like to update this review with an additional star for a couple of reasons. One being that, Logan's offered to have a conversation about it. I'm not interested, but I've always felt doing something like that says something good about about the company. The other reason is that upon further thought, I was harsh in the description of the steak being "soppy." I'm sure it was just juices from the steak, but the texture combination was very unpleasant. I do want to play devil's advocate and point out a couple of good things that should be recognized: they tried to correct the situation and give me what I asked for (a medium rare steak cooked over a flame grill). And they ultimately did not charge us for the end result. I apologize for not thinking to include those key point the first time. As a customer, if that's your only concern, go for it. Try Logan's. The rolls are delicious, but the way I was treated left a bitter taste in my mouth. The reason I went home angry and am still bothered by the whole exchange is that I asked for medium rare, got something between raw and rare and was ultimately told that I should ask for it more cooked next time and was then given a not-flamed-grilled steak that just barely passed as medium well. (What little pink was left vanished in front of me in a matter of a minute or two on the plate.) It was very insulting. I included plenty of constructive criticism to work with in the initial review. As bitter as I'm feeling, I don't want anyone fired, so please don't do that. I think we're all tired and we're all doing our best. read more

This is kind of sad to see. A once thriving restaurant we have always enjoyed deteriorating to this point. We chose to sit in the bar area and found the table we sat at still dirty. The server was fine but failed to provide menus... not a big deal. My wife immediately sees roaches crawling on the walls near the bathroom. Add to the roaches the fact that we sat for over 30 minutes watching no one address 5 separate tables that needed bussing. Everyone walked by them and continued to ignore them. We never saw a manager or anyone supervising to make sure stuff like this gets done correctly. There is way too much restaurant competition in the area to not pay attention to these details. At this point I'm just praying our food is decent... sure don't have too many high aspirations after what we've seen. Sad... sad... sad read more

I know the other reviews are much lower but this place really isn't as bad as others have portrayed a steakhouse for the working class. Let's be real. The times I've come and sat in the main area, I've had young servers, often inexperienced, but they've not been rude or unpleasant...just slower and maybe a mistake now and again. The bar, however, has good service and feels like any sports bar (but with loud music). Food came out in a normal amount of time and mostly as ordered. (I asked for rare and got an almost med-rare & daughter asked for med-rare and got almost medium...but still good, so why complain?) This place is busy almost every night...so don't expect to get in and out quick on the dining side. read more

We were seated immediately and able to place our drink order. I had a Long Island Ice Tea, and it was a very generous pour. To order I had a steak - black and blue. Not many places know how to cook a steak like this, and most times it is over cooked. My steak was cooked perfectly! Everything that came was correct, and delicious.
