Our waiter was not attentive at all. Took our order and gave us all of our food and forgot our drinks the whole time. Had to remind her to bring them and she also forgot what drinks we ordered. She brought us our drinks and asked us if we needed sauce and after that she was no where to be found. My fiancé and i was wanting a few more things and she never came back to our table. You could've walked out and not paid and she wouldn't have noticed. We waited nearly 30 minutes after we were done for the check and had to flag her down when talking to a co-worker. Sorry to say, i give pretty good tips and i wanted to give her one just to be nice but she needs to learn how to be more attentive to her customers. read more

Hit And Miss, Depends On Alcohol We arrive late on a weekday, and were seated promptly. They didn't seem overly busy, and we didn't experience many delays. Our server was very cordial and polite. Their appetizers are just . . . meh, and they limit mixed drinks to 2 only?? I don't really understand that rule, and our server wasn't even old enough to drink and couldn't explain it either, so that's one star gone. They charge extra for "premium sides" such as a potato with cheese on it, which puts them behind so many other steakhouses. That on top of the crapetizers lost a star completely. But to be honest my New York strip was one of the best I have ever ate. One of my party ordered the $25 filet mignon, and my strip was still better. I give a one star instead of two because this is a repeat visit hoping things would've changed... but it hasn't. We used to love going to Logan's. We live in Hixson and it's a great place to go and get good steak at reasonable prices. However, it seems that changed when Texas Roadhouse came to town. The cooks don't know how to cook a steak. I am often found eating a steak not cooked as requested. Last night was no exception. I asked for medium and got medium well. My belief is a well cooked steak won't need steak sauce. Last night I asked for A1. We also had salads and they didn't come with croutons (usually they do). We also ordered bacon on a stick, paid $9.99 for 3 small pieces of bacon. Of course we had a very nice server (Damon) who fixed this problem. I am at a loss for words. What once was a great place to get steak, has now turned into a place that just don't care. South If you looking for the way it use to be you are looking in the wrong place. Food is still good but the atmosphere has changed. There will be no more entertainment and if you want to just hang out and eat peanuts you will get a plate to put them in. In my opinion, things have gone south. I have gone to Texas Roundhouse for years in many places all over the country. It is not the same as I remember. I will change my selection next time. Sorry but the only reason why I gave 2 stars was the service. The server was attentive but food was awful. My husband got the Tbone and there is no way the steak was 16 ounces, it was the thinnest cut steak we have ever seen. The quality of the meat was awful. So much fat, just globs. I had the 6 oz sirloin ordered medium. It was done all the way through and so tough I could not put a fork thru it. I told the server just to take it off our tab. He offered to have another one cooked and still take it off the tab. Second steak came out slightly undercooked but that was ok. What was not is there was so much gristle in the meat that I chewed and chewed and could not finish the bits so had to spit them in a napkin. After 2 tries I gave up. We ate inside at Logan Roadhouse in Hixson, TN tonight. While we were waiting on our food a large roach crawled across the back of the booth where my husband and son were sitting. It crawled across the wall and dropped down into another lady's plate of food! We brought this to the attention of the waitress and she said they have noticed an increase in bugs since the construction began in the new hotel beside them. We noticed another roach crawling up the wall in the area we were seated. This time we asked to speak to the manager. He said he would call the exterminator. There was no apology or an offer of a discount or complementary meal. I was totally grossed out and couldn't finish eating! This is unacceptable for any restaurant! My salad had wilted slimy lettuce, my sirloin steak was absolutely so tough (I ordered medium well) I couldn't chew it!! My fries tasted like they were reheated. The service was really slow and there were not many people there for a Saturday night. Judging by our experience and some of the other reviews I guess I know why. Service was really slow my wife's shrimp was lukewarm so was my burger the fries were cold I didn't eat them. Due to the bad service the waitress told us our appetizer would be taken care of but instead we noticed they took $8 off for a $9 appetizer guess they needed the extra dollar to put towards a new oven. I visited this Logan's on Hwy 153 and we were seated next to a party of approximately 30 people with half of them being young children. We did not see a server for several minutes after being seated. I ordered a medium steak and salad. The waitress delivered my salad without their homemade croutons. My server nowhere to be found so I carried my salad to the kitchen and was advised that they were out of croutons. I received a new salad with some crumbs on top but no croutons. When our steaks came mine was VERY well done, not medium as ordered. Because my server was MIA, I hailed a nearby server who returned my food to the kitchen. Eventually, a manager brought out a medium steak after my wife had finished her meal. I was done. Trust me, I don't plan on a return visit and you shouldn't either! read more

The food was disappointing and overpriced, the drinks had way too much ice, the music was far too loud, and the staff was unfriendly. I don't know if my waitress was inattentive or couldn't hear over the loud music, but my "no lemon" became two lemons, and "extra dressing" became dressing on the side. My tea glass was almost full of ice, so I scooped some out before a refill. The refill added even more ice, so once again there very little tea. My glass was empty for too long between refills. My salad had a skimpier serving of beans and corn than past salads. It also had a lot of water at the bottom, as if the vegetables hadn't been drained well. The rolls were piping hot this time (They'd been barely warm on the previous three visits and wouldn't even melt the butter). My husband's dish had lots of broccoli, and he said it was tender and good. It was a nice shade of green and didn't have the strong smell of over-cooked broccoli. After the hostess checked each party in, she spent a long time working in a notebook and didn't even acknowledge the people in line (The notebook was obviously for work, but she spent so long on it that she should at least have apologized and/or said she'd be with people shortly). When she did look up, she didn't smile or greet people warmly; she just looked as if it pained her to "welcome" more people and asked how many were in the group. The music in the dining area was so loud people had to raise their voices to talk. It was painfully loud in the tiny waiting area. Other parties in the waiting area agreed, so I went inside to let the employees know. The hostess said there wasn't anything they could do about it and then turned to the manager. He told me they wanted the roadhouse atmosphere. He had a too-bad-for-you attitude and never even offered to pass the comment up the chain. I don't expect a business to make decisions based solely on my input, but good customer service does entail listening (really listening, not standing there looking smug), sympathizing, and offering to pass comments on to higher management. If you want to use a coupon, be sure to read every word on it. Our waitress rejected our coupon because it was a holiday. We were confused since we'd read through the fine-print exclusions twice. It turns out the Father's Day exclusion wasn't listed with the others; it was in the lower right-hand corner of the card. Our meals were over $30 before the tip. Lost a regular customer today folks, felt it has started to backslide for a while now, and today was the final straw. When I show up with a party of ten a few minutes after opening and you tell me I'll have to wait outside because you don't have enough servers and the restaurant is almost empty, then start taking in multiple parties of four and five ahead of us....what kind of sense does that make? Plus, the real kicker, we were told twenty minutes, and after thirty minutes we asked, and then was told it would be another twenty minutes because they still didn't have enough servers. Called the manager as we were leaving and he was nice and apologetic and said he would address his people with the issue. Had hard time getting attention of server to send back to cook some more which should have only taken about 5 minutes. The broccoli was good but needed something so I asked for butter and cheese to sprinkle while it was hot. Asked for it several times. Never did get it. Meat came back cooked well done. Food was cold. The loaded baked sweet potato was excellent. Just put everything in a box and took it home to heat up and eat. Couldn't get the attention of the server to pay our bill so took it up to some other server to pay and then got the servers attention. Mostly have a good experience other times. Terrible experience on 1/16/17, and we didn't even get to eat. First, the host at the host station seemed baffled by the concept of seating us (party of 2), and he disappeared for several minutes, leaving us and a party of four that came in after us standing around waiting. No other server or host or manager acknowledged us during this time. Finally the host came back and offered us a bar table that was "being cleaned off now" - it was the last booth in the back, and I was already worried that we'd never get a server to help us. No one shows us to the booth, and when we get there the previous table's paid check and cash tip is just sitting there on the table, which is still dirty. We don't sit, trying to catch a server's eye to come finish the table so we can sit down. I see and wave at three separate servers, but no one comes over. After five minutes of us standing at the table, looking around, and getting no acknowledgement or interaction from any of the staff - not even a "we'll be right with you" - we left. I'm surprised I'm the first to review this place. Maybe I just have a bad Internet connection and I'm not seeing all the other reviews, however I've always had pleasant experiences here. They have steaks of all sizes and shapes, and have really good drinks at the bar. There roadhouse Tea should be consumed in moderation. Just about every time on there, managers are coming around the check to ensure the servers are taking care of customers. If there are issues you can feel comfortable speaking with management. There will be no retribution, and they usually will help out with the bill or make it right. The food quality is consistent, and the servers are motivated to take care of their customers. Food comes out Hot and orders are almost always accurate. One thing I should say, is if you want your steak medium rare you should probably order it rare. It seems that the cooks are a little wary of sending out raw meat. So if you enjoy bloody steak as much as I do and my wife does, it's always OK to back it up a little bit and if it is too rare, they will cook it a little more. read more
