Pilled pulled pork on Texas Toast.

Def a clean restaurant , and our server was really nice , but this was the worst Logan's I have eaten at. I haven't eaten at Logan's in a while and my daughter wanted to eat her so we did. The rollls were amazing. But the pulled pork was the worst pulled pork I've had. It was so dried out and burn . Guess I got was left at the bottom of the pan or something. Guess it will be another while before I go to Logan's again..

Sat at the bar. The food and service was great. I had the prime rib and shrimp. I've had better but it cured the craving.

Picked this place because of proximity to hotel, should have driven farther. That is all I have to say about that.

If I hadn't seen that, I'd never have known that a BBQ even existed there. That smoker was what brought us in. As we read the menu, we were told that only some things were available right now. The brisket I wanted to order wouldn't be ready for another hour. Macaroni and cheese? This afternoon. I settled on a pulled pork plate with baked beans and broccoli salad. Hands down the best broccoli salad I've ever had. No onions. Perfect. The baked beans were right up there in the top 10, maybe top 5 of all time. The pulled pork? Ehh. Not the best. A little dry. The plate was served in to-go box, a very full to-go box - the amount of food served was astounding. I planned on bringing home extras to serve to the family for lunch the next day. By now the brisket was ready. I also ordered a large baked beans, green beans, banana pudding and a pound of chopped chicken to go. The mac and cheese still wasn't done. The meat had great flavor but all of it was a little dry. All of the sides absolutely rocked. I will definitely be back but I'm going to call first - I want my mac and cheese please. Ps: wish sweet Maddie well as she starts A&M in the fall!!!

Fast forward to Saturday, I arrive at 12:30 to have to wait an additional 20 minutes for my order. After which I'm told the sausage links would be an additional 10 minutes. I was charged for the entire meal without acknowledgment of long waits. I get it it's the 4th of July, however if it were me and I was the owner, I would've been by telephone order only. I would not have overcommitted myself if I couldn't maintain. Quality beats quantity every time. Let's talk about the food that I received. Ribs were over cooked and chewy. Seasoned well and nice bark to it but that's it. I received leg quarters instead of a whole chicken. Macaroni and cheese have a good consistency but lacked salt. Baked beans taste like Busch's baked beans fresh out the can. No onion bell pepper mustard brown sugar nothing. The potato salad taste was perfect however, it was to creamy almost soupy if that makes sense. Like you have to ease up on the mayo. Respectfully. All in all I'd give it a 2/5. I won't go back personally but this is my opinion. Feel free to form your own opinion.

This place is a gem!!! And definitely a new contender for some of what I feel is best bbq in town…read more We came here after we found the place we initially intended to go no longer operating on Wednesdays. Honestly pretty glad for that inconvenience, because it brought us to Barbeque Heaven! There's not a ton of parking, so come in a smaller car if you can. The inside is just a couple of tables and booths with plastic table coverings on them and you order at the counter. You can smell the smoke as you walk up and it smells delicious! I got the impression the man working the register was perhaps the owner. He was very kind, patient, and excited to share with us about their product. He had a good sense of humor and a warm laugh. My mom and I both got the lunch special -- a bbq sandwich with one side and a drink. The price was right and the portions were generous. We both got pulled pork on our sandwiches. I got French fries and she got macaroni and cheese so we could both try each. We also got to sample all three sauces: white sauce, slightly spicy, thinner red sauce, and thicker, sweet red sauce. Honestly, everything we ate was great. The pork was super tender, just smoky enough, and not at all fatty/greasy/gristly (which is my preference by a mile). Good ratio of burnt ends, too. My /only/ very minor critique is that the buns smelled a little weird. Idk if it was the bag they were stored in or what, lol. But they didn't taste weird at all, and their texture was pleasant, so not a huge deal at all. The French fries probably weren't fresh cut, but they were freshly fried, nice and crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside, with some flavorful seasoning coating the exterior. No ketchup needed! The macaroni and cheese was creamy and flavorful, with some crispy cheese on top. We took a combo home for my dad and got him some fried okra; I stole a couple pieces and it, too, was delicious! Flavorful breading and perfectly crispy. Lastly, I nabbed a slice of their obviously homemade red velvet cake. I was too full to eat it til after dinner, haha. The crumb was absolutely perfect - super moist and delicate. The cream cheese icing was, as expected, sweet! But it wasn't crazy sweet and the chopped pecans added a really nice new textural element. This place is well worth the drive if you don't live nearby. I know I'll be looking for excuses to head out their way in the future to get some more delicious bbq.

We did takeout so I can't comment on dining in, but it's your standard drive through experience. The staff, I will note, are EXTREMELY nice and personable. The food, however, just wasn't as good as the other location. The pork was overly fatty, the chicken gristly, and the sides were cold (when they weren't intended to be). I'm not opposed to going here again, but given that the HSV location is around the corner it's going to take some work. For a quick BBQ meal coming from a chain, however, this is a solid bet.

I ended up ordering the catfish plate with mac n cheese and collard greens. The food was delicious as usual. It was cooked to order and was very tasty. I did notice that the catfish filets were smaller than usual, which was a little disappointing, especially when the food is priced fairly high. I also ordered a garden salad. For the price, it was a little skimpy, but nonetheless, it was good. Luckily, the meal automatically comes with their famous buttery biscuits. I could eat a whole pack of those! The service was great and even though the restaurant was empty, it was very clean. They also have a nice big tv in the seating area... great for sports!

The flies on the patio are beyond nasty. When I walked into the restaurant, people were complaining…read moreabout the flies inside. That was nothing to the patio. But I came to see the band, food was really just a bonus. The food itself was really good - I had fried green tomatoes with pulled pork. The fried green tomatoes were fresh and crisp. The pork, however was room temperature. Honestly, if I had known about the flies, I doubt that I would have even considered eating tepid pork. There was a slight drizzle of sauce but I had to go back up and request sauce. Other reviews mentioned the saltiness of the dish. If anything, it was under seasoned. I bought my grandson a chicken finger kids meal and subbed mac and cheese for the fries. The meal came with three large house made tenders. They would have been enough for me (unfortunately the fly infestation made leftovers unthinkable.) Like the tomatoes, the tenders came sans sauce necessitating another trip to the counter. He devoured the mac and cheese. It was a little soupy and had kind of congealed sauce around the edges before it was even served. I'd order it for him again but not for me. Oh, and ask for a spoon before you leave the counter. The fork that came with was for all intents and purposes useless. (Yes, another trip to the counter). The patio is a great venue. Grab a beer, grab a seat and enjoy the band. As for food? Maybe wait until winter when the flies are gone.
