Started with Michelle at the: door-no waiting, friendly attitude, and we were promptly seated with Morgan. She greeted us within seconds with a genuine smile. Delivery was prompt and Every. Single. They have the three C's which is cost effectiveness, cleanliness, and courteous service. What many people don't understand is they also have good cheeseburgers made of steak meat that are chargrilled. They also offer the best grilled wings on the beach called V wings I highly recommend the chipotle seasoning ones. They have a little bit of heat and sweet. The yeast rolls will add years to your hips. And free peanuts while you wait will help you drink more great brewed sweet tea they have here. Take it from a baby boomer that's been coming here for 50 years. This place won't kill your wallet and give you some quality steak and other food. Well-managed and if you don't like anything he will take care of whatever your problem is with your meal. I've always left here very satisfied. You can't always say that at the beach with all the trendy crap they say is food around here. Millennials you need to start coming here and save your money. My wife got the chicken and they prepared it for her the way she wanted it to fit her diet. The waiter was very knowledgeable and explained all the menu items. I called and tried to order a dessert from their online menu for pick up and they said I couldn't order from the online menu. So I still ordered something similar and asked them to have it warm because takeout desserts come cold if you don't ask for it baked already. My daughter had no complaints but she's a child. My meal was half rack with 2 baked potatoes. One of my baked potatoes had a green thing in it. Still not sure what it was. The second potatoe had like 3 shreds of cheese on it.. it doesn't come with cheese. I asked the waitress for a to go dish for my daughter the ticket and the manager. It's not her fault. The manager was just as ridiculous as the food served. He apologized for having a "crappy start" asks if I'm local and says "well hopefully the next time it won't be so bad". Seriously! I still had to pay for my daughters food which was fine and I tipped the waitress. But u would think after receiving such poor service and food not only would her meal be for free, I'd get some kind of serious apology. Nope! I got the cream of corn and chicken soup I asked her what was in it and she said corn and chicken. I'm allergic to mushrooms and she failed to mention they were in there, it was also very cold. I asked her for a loaded baked potato soup and it was brought out to me no problem. Got our food on time. I ordered the teriyaki chicken plate served on a bed of rice with Mac and cheese. Service is great, prices are reasonable but the food, the food is delicious! The hubby and I just discovered Logans a few months ago and loved it at first bite. First item served is the yeast rolls which are hot and buttery and just plain yum. If you aren't careful you can fill up on these. Eat them anyway because you won't be disappointed. Second item served is your appetizer. We've only ordered the fried onion petals which are tasty, especially with the homemade sauce they serve with it. Third item served is the salad, ours with ranch dressing. I know everyone it seems can make ranch and it is acceptable but at Logans it is exceptional. It is thick and rich and they put real bacon bits on top of the crisp, fresh salad. There is just something about a good salad and they definitely deliver with theirs. Fourth item served is the main course. We opted to for the meal with 2 meat selections, ours was and remains the steak and ribs. This meal is plenty big enough for two, especially with the rolls and salad. Having said that, my husband swears that their ribs are the best he has ever had. They literally fall off the bone and the meat is cooked to perfection. I agree. The steak is also delicious and cooked perfectly my way, medium. It is tender and every bite is great. The sides, we've had: the sweet potato, mashed, and loaded mashed. They are all very good; my personal favorite though is the sweet potato, the hubby's is the loaded mashed. Can't go wrong with any of these. Last item served is desert - if you can find the room that is. We had to try the bana pie creation and fell in love with it too. Oh my it is light but creamy/fluffy with a crust that is moist and buttery. They slice fresh bananas on top and swirl caramel sauce over that. What can I say, it is just umm umm good. Normally my wife and i give this place five stars. The food is usually great. It was tonight as well. Unfortunately we were seated near the bar and the TVs on the last Saturday evening of the college football season. One old southern un-gentleman in particular ruined our zen. He was loud, obnoxious, obscene and a generally drunken nuisance. The staff had to repeatedly speak with him to quiet him down. Even his daughter came over from where she was having dinner and tried to quiet him down to no avail. These efforts worked only for short periods of time and he got loud again and again throwing F-bombs and other nasty stuff into the atmosphere for all th have to hear. This kind of behavior should not be tolerated in a place with families with children present. He should have been booted unceremoniously out the door. We will never sit near the bar again at night. read more
