We ended with 4 different wait persons. 1 of our party didn't eat there food, burgers charred, other well under cooked. I would say the worst. Our food took a long time n when we received it was cold. Service was horrible. Took a long time to see our server. She forgot my daughters shrimp. But by the time she got to the table to even check it, she was halfway through her meal. No eye contact, I even ordered margaritas and she didn't even try to sell me on liquor or better yet even friendly. No manger ever was seen. Two bartenders with the most filthiest bar I've ever seen. I love Logan's. I'm a big fan of their food, atmosphere and service. I don't typically order their affordabley-priced sirloins because it's not a good cut of meat. I've been impressed with their ribeye, though. Occasionally they'll overcook it, but it's still delicious. I get mac and cheese and french fries for my sides. If I'm not feeling red meat, I'll order their teriyaki chicken with extra pineapples. It's so good, I love the taste of chicken, the sweet sauce and pineapples together. Typically we get good service here. I can't remember the last time we got a waiter or waitress I wasn't happy with. There's always a manager on the floor visiting tables and making sure everyone is taken care of. I appreciate when restaurants use this tactic. It makes me feel important. Don't come here if you're allergic to peanuts. They're on every table and the shells are strewn about on the floor. read more

One of my favorite chained restaurant. Now let me tell u first that their ribs are so amazing and priced right. They literally fall off the bone with no gristle what so ever. I can definitely see why the awful reviews for this place. Just got done having lunch here and am very unimpressed. The food took a really long time to come out. They took forever and a half to even bring out the bread. But with that said, the bread was unfortunately also the best part of our meal. I opted for the make your own plate with the given options listed on their menu. I got the "fall off the bones" ribs with the grilled shrimp. For my two sides, I got the corn and the mashed potato with brown gravy. When the food finally arrived, it arrives feeling room temperature...the ribs were completely dry like it's been cooked past death. The shrimp sitting on a small bed of rice were boring and lacked flavor. They forgot the gravy to my COLD, HARD mashed potatoes. The corn was the only thing I find myself reaching for. With every persons' meal averaging to $20 a plate, I'd really expect more. And if not more from the quality of food, then at least the service. Everyone here seems to half ass everything. Terrible, Terrible....I honestly don't know how this restaurant is still open. Unprofessional staff let me start off with that.....staff is loud amongst each other, while we were there a few of them decided they were going to have a break and hang out at the bar with their feet up on chairs. I ordered a French Onion Soup, they must have pulled it out of the fridge and brought it to me....cold and the cheese slice on top was just put on, not even melted. While we were waiting for our order to be taken, our waiter was hacking so bad not covering his mouth at all. I went for dinner last night ordering grilled meatloaf, chili and a side salad. The chili was horrible with 50,000 beans in a cup. The waitress forgot my side salad, and oh my god when they brought my meat loaf out, it was clearly burnt all the way with large black char on it. It was extremely dry and tasteless. I mentioned it to the waitress and she said this is what it always looks like. My daughter ordered the crab patties. When she tasted them she said they were awful, tasting as if the crab were not fresh, and the texture was like mush. We were highly unsatisfied and greatly disappointed. We went on a Saturday afternoon and this Logan's was busy but we were seated almost immediately. We both ordered a sirloin dinner which didn't come out speedily but not a terribly long wait. While waiting for our dinners we noticed the waitstaff hustling, we were impressed. The steaks were cooked to our liking and very good. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly as was the hostess who greeted and seated us. I did feel like the people are packed into the restaurant like sardines because of the seating design, no intimate seating here. Relaxed, come as you are atmosphere. Ah, Logan's Roadhouse. A downriver treasure. I was but a wee lad when they built this wonderful restaurant. I often find myself dreaming about fresh, perfectly cooked steak being served to me by a wonderful wait staff. It's sad waking up sometimes. But now it's Friday. Pay day. All other bills be gone for this is all that matters. Food. Drink. PEANUTS! This place is good. Great steak, sides, chicken. Typically packs out around 4:00 a 5:00. Sweet tea is great. They send my house a coupon in the mail usually monthly for $10 off and another for 20% off. Free rolls and peanuts with any meal. read more

We go to Logan's Roadhouse whenever we have a taste for steak. The staff is friendly and efficient here. In the past, we have had Rib-eye (my fav), NY strip, Porterhouse steaks, Prime Rib as well as a few salads (okay, the grilled chicken or salmon salads piqued my interest). My rating would have been a 5 but the Prime Rib did not have any flavor at all--maybe a bit more marinating or something? The peanuts available on the table reminds me of another Rib place that allowed you to eat them, then, throw the shells on the floor. The jukebox was cool because it had a plethora of songs (for free) to choose from and enjoy while you ate dinner. The music ranged from country to classic rock. Never again. Maybe we were there on a bad night, but holy. We went on a Monday night around 5pm, so it's not like it was a weekend when it was packed. It took about 10 minutes for our waitress to finally make her way over to get our drink order, which should have been our first sign, but we hung in there because this isn't one of our usual "spots" and we were being adventerous...whatever. While deciding between the mash potatoes or the mac and cheese my server told me the mac and cheese is "really good." It was Stouffers. Don't get me wrong... I love Stouffers mac and cheese; but, when I go out, I expect home-made, not boxed and frozen. Overall, food, service, poor drink quality, and long wait times made for a less than mediocre night. I had the absolute worst experience ever here! Me and my cousin arrived at 6:45 pm, our waitress brought us our drinks and disappeared! She never came back to ask if we needed refills even though we were seated facing the kitchen ( literally ). By 7:50 pm we still had not been asked if we needed refills and we still had not received our meals. Finally our waitress noticed that we were visibly upset! She had a manager come to our table who was very nice to us, but by this time I was just outdone! I'm giving this visit 2 stars because the food was good and our waitress Emily was great! The reason I didn't give more stars was because of the unprofessional atmosphere. When we walked in we waited a long time for someone to come and greet us. Once we were sat our waitress came right over and was very attentive. However, in the kitchen area the waitresses were loudly arguing with each other. One in particular did nothing but stand back there and yell at everyone. Multiple people came in and left because they were ignored by the hostess. Then to top it off the waitresses were sweeping the floors all around people that were trying to enjoy their dinner! My family went to an early dinner, the place was not busy. We waited for a full 30 minutes before someone even came over to take a drink order. Our food took at least 40 minutes and most orders had something wrong with them. The waitress continually forgot to bring things we asked for. We decided not to even ask again for the missing things because we knew it would take too long. When the bill came (which took 20 minutes after requested)every person had an error on their bill.
