First time to visit. The restaurant was clean and a cute place. I ordered the chefs choice chilly relleno dinner for $14.95.My friend ordered shrimp tacos,we shared both orders. The presentation of my dinner was very disappointing. The batter on the peppers were soggy and greasy.Inside was no cheese only ground beef which I ordered but I did expect a little cheese when I cut into them. The favor was okay if only the appearance was more appetizing.The beans on the plate were also part of the undesirable appearance. My friends shrimp taco were overly drenched with a sauce similar to yum yum. I did not enjoy my food at all and it was way to pricey. read more

We discovered the most AMAZING restaurant tonight! Lola's Mexican Cantina is a treat!! Miguel and Astrid, the owners, treated us like family, bringing out plates of "deliciousness" for us to try, and that wasn't counting what we ordered! :-) They make all of their dishes completely from scratch. We had the Enchiladas Verde and the Super Burrito. The food was excellent with incredible flavor, and the service was exceptional! We cannot wait to try dessert the next time we are there! Extremely authentic probably some of the most delicious Mexican we've ever had. We had Street tacos which were exceptional, the nachos were wonderful with authentic Mexican cheese, and the steak quesadillas were out of this world! This was a hidden gem. The food was fantastic and the service was stellar. The shrimp tacos were my favorite. We went on Tuesday and there were Taco Tuesday specials going on. We had a chance to try different mini tacos. The pastor tacos were incredibly flavorful. The homestyle guacamole was the best we've ever had. I can't say enough good things about this place. Didn't think anyone could get Mexican wrong but yup I found the place. I took a chance with only 3 reviews with this place and it was the worse decision I could've made. I ordered two steak tacos and two grill chicken tacos, who could get tacos wrong am I right? They brought out 4 steak tacos which I immediately told them it was wrong. Well instead of taking the whole plate back the manager said hand me two of the tacos to put on a plate she was holding. I kind of was taken back that most places would take the entire plate back to the kitchen and prepare a whole new plate for me, I was wrong. I want to mention that the tacos came out plain, a tortilla with the meat on top they put the onions and cilantro on the side. The chicken tacos I got weren't even marinated it just tasted like they cut the chicken and put it straight on the grill and that is not ok... not a good place for food... read more

If the owner had given as much service to my adult daughter and I as the only other table at the time, a large group of eight! We were ignored till chips, salsa and drinks were empty. Finally brings cheese dip, still no chips,salsa or drinks. Then serves cold entrees. Heck if she had asked if I wanted another drink she could have up sold the check by $7,instead ignores and nickel and dimes me for .50 each for jalapeños in the cheese dip (who does that!) and a side of lettuce and tomato. My family and I love Lola's. It is always excellent food and great service. Tonight we celebrated my sister's birthday and Astrid (Owner) went above and beyond the usual awesome service. I ordered a Tres Leches cake ahead for the party and she had the table decorated with balloons and candles and it could not have been more perfect!
