I was so excited to try fufu for the first time and this was a huge disappointment. If you're not Nigerian don't go there. Seems like they only cater to Nigerians. The food taste like it was left there for days... the goat taste rubbery and the chicken was so hard I could t even chew it. And to top it off there was a piece of hair in my food. So disappointed and I wish this was a good review but I just can't overlook this.

The best authentic Nigerian restaurant in DFW. The jollof rice waa delicious. The plantain were well fried and not oily. The fish was tasty. I will go here anytime to enjoy a great afrucan meal. The meal was worth the price as well

The inside of this place is nice and clean. I think they turn this place into a night club on weekends. Loud Wizkid playing, plenty of Malta available, and only 1 host/server for the entire restaurant...typical. The food: There was sooo much palm oil in everything. Blood. Of. Jesus. I could literally take a large spoon and scoop it out. Also the ogbonno looked strange, but it didn't taste bad at all. The egusi was good. Also, The amala and iyan were fresh. Not quit there, but could potentially be my new spot.

    Whole fish and plantains.

Best Nigerian food I've had since moving to Dallas. Had the yam porridge (asaro) and I've since come back to other meals on the menu.

I forgot so about the card until someone asked me if I used food delivery companies. I loved them in the past but had some odd experiences. Nevertheless since I was in TX and not familiar with any of the local restaurants I decided to pick food the person I was with had never tried. After researching several options I landed on this place. I ended up ordering several items so I could get the person to try a variation and so I could get a good idea of their approach and how they prepare specific dishes. Especially in the DFW area. I'm American but have worked in parts of Africa in the 90s and lived in NY and the DC areas. I'm from CA and it took much longer for West African food products to make it west. I ordered over $200 worth of options. The pricing made me change my mind on 3 different occasions on separate days over 2 weeks. I then justified by thinking, that if the portions are fair I food freeze items and/or eat leftovers a few times with the spices marinating and getting better. Overall, I was very pleased. I've attached a photo of my receipt and food. I wish they had placed more of the spicy pepper paste being that in every note, I wrote spicy or extra spicy and there wasn't an option for condiments. Some of the pieces of meet in the dishes were sparse or just the fat. The pieces of goat in the curry, egusi, and okra could have been cooked longer but the flavor of all three dishes was delicious. The person who had the food for the first time enjoyed the spices but their expressions when asking questions related to each item, were hard to decipher. They don't have a mature palid and stick to what they like (bad food) for over 50 yrs. When I brought habaneros to cook with, they had no clue what they were, even though their mexican salsas said habanero was in it but the peppers on the bottles were not habaneros. The added rice with the dishes was very good even though I bought the jollof rice as well. Having both was smart. Again. I wish I had more African pepper paste The person I was with LOVED THE PLANTAINS.. T wasn't surprised. They were ripend and cooked to perfection. I had to hide them so when more food was being tasted the focus would be on the others. I was right about having leftovers and nothing went to waste.I even served the rice with fish dishes I prepared later in the week. Yes, I would choose this restaurant again!!! However, I think I'm going to drive there and order to see if the portions are the same and if I'm saving any money. Oh, I forgot to mention that the restaurant did and excellent job of packaging the food abs placed all bags and containers in a box. There was only one container that had saran wrap that leaked due to it being squashed and cracked. The way it was wrapped.. saved the dish!!!

I for sure got that. Egusi was amazing. It came out steaming hot. It was painful waiting a few minutes for the food to cool down because I wanted to eat it right away. But it's not good to complain about food being too hot. There was ample seating. The server was attentive and courteous. When I walked in there was a black cowboy riding a Rodeo on TV. So assume this may be a great place to watch sports and eat. Make sure to order an Indian Malta with your food. There was a wide variety of food selections on the menu. So it's a good idea to reviews the menu prior to coming. See images attached. I will be back for the awesome food.

We ordered Efo Riro with assorted meats and a goat soup for pick up off of their website. With the price of everything going up, we try to pick up the food when we can versus delivery fees but the two items was still over $60. We figured the portions were probably a lot larger and we could eat it for a couple of meals so placed the order. We waited a bit at the house before driving out to Plano but when we got there, they informed us that the order didn't come through. We ended up waiting another 45 minutes. The woman was very apologetic and kind but heads up on the website. Maybe call in afterwards just to double check that the order went through. My dish had two pieces of meat and a piece of tripe. It was really tasty, but could taste some leftover sand in the greens. My partner's goat was good as well and I appreciated that the dishes were spicy like we ordered it, but felt like for the price, there could have been more meat.

The vibe was nice. You must make a reservation! This is what I enjoyed: Side of Lamb chops: 10/10 tender, meaty, nice smoky and sweet flavor, well seasoned. Side of Mac and cheese: 6/10 a bit dry, needs a bit more seasoning, if both of these things were not an issue it would be perfect. Oxtails and jollof rice: 10/10 oxtails were full of flavor and enjoyable. They could have been a bit more tender. Overall the flavor carried it to a perfect 10. The rice is seasoned and a bit smokey and cooked to the perfect doneness. Table bread: 9/10 puff puff style bread. They were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Brought out first and provided with every meal. It had a sweet seasoning mix on it. The mix to me was more for after dinner instead of right before the meal. Dusse mimosa: 10/10 nice and stout. I prefer Dusse over Hennessy which is what was on the menu. Jerk chicken: 10/10 flavorful wings. Jerk seasoning was there and not too spicy. Cooked just right and not dry. Collard greens: 6/10 savory flavor. I am a collard greens specialist and I prefer a sweet and hot profile. Although these are just savory they were cooked to the correct tenderness. Candied yams: 10/10 get blend of cinnamon and sweet flavor. Cooked perfectly.

The collard greens were awful, and the rice tasted like boxed or store-bought rice. The salmon was actually good, but the portion was ridiculously small for the price. The atmosphere was just as disappointing. At 2 PM, the music was so loud it felt more like a nightclub than a restaurant. When the band went on break, the music and videos playing felt more appropriate for a strip club. Then the band came back praising God. The whole vibe was confusing, to say the least. Small portions, big prices, mediocre food, and a confused atmosphere. Fusion Vibes just wasn't for us. We will not be returning.
