We stumbled unto a GEM!! After walking across the Hudson River Bridge we needed to find refuge from the storm, thus we went into Lolita's. Fortunately for us it was lunch time so we ordered. We got the Chopped Salad and Wood Roasted Asparagus. Both dishes were fresh and mouth watering tasty. The Wood roasted asparagus is the creation of one of the two chefs. It's different from anything we've ever tasted. Delicious!!! For dessert(yes, we would walk it off going back across the bridge) we got the fruit with lemon curd and milk crumbles!! The server was a doll with every interaction we had with her. She found us a table though it was super busy. She recommended the kale salad which was delicious as well as the Mac and cheese special my son had and it was the best Mac and cheese we had in a long time. The pizzas are also very tasty...They have a rustic char on them. I got the margarita pizza it was what I had been craving. The place is on the smaller side but we were very comfortable for being a family of 5. We will add this to our list of favorites. read more

5 stars all around for this wonderful establishment. From the service to the food everything was first rate. Decided to give this place a shot due to a friends recommendation of the broccolini pizza and it did not disappoint. Was in town with a group of friends, we were a party of 8 and even though it is a smaller restaurant they seated us within 20 mins. It's not an ideal space for larger parties but they managed and I think there is additional seating on the outdoor patio too! We sampled up some local beers and speciality cocktails they had a nice wine selection as well. There was a lot of different pizza selections going on at our table. Sausage, pepperoni, white, margarita.... I had the special, which was a carbonara pizza. A friend had the broccolini and we shared. Both delicious but the carbonara as by far the best on the table! That should be a permanent fixture on the menu, it was THAT good. We also ordered up some meatball calzones and pickled veggies. I ordered the kale salad to start and it was the best I've had in a long time. The dressing was great, the kale was bite sized pieces and it wasn't chewy at all like kale can sometimes be. This place is amazing! Overall the atmosphere, the staff and the food is absolutely all around great. The rice balls, the flatbread and the pork neck gravy was delicious, I wanted more before I was even finished! I ordered the cresto de Gallo and it was one of the most delicious pasta dishes I've ever had, the portion was big and I was full about half way through but HAD to finish! My boyfriend had the lumache and that was also delicious, definitely has a good kick to it! If you go here you won't be disappointed. The best part about this place was I was completely satisfied and the bill was completely reasonable! I almost forgot to mention the absolutely delicious desserts they have. A little gem right off the Hudson River walkway. Wood burning oven makes everything better! They had a special of oven roasted Shishito peppers that was outrageously good. Went to Lolitas tonight, "craved" a gourmet pizza pie A new place in town, we thought we would give it a try The decor and ambiance was perfect in every way Our waitress Lilly, she was great, really made our day Mussels for our appetizer interesting dish, very tasty, very nice Served with pita bread, the seasoning in the broth, had very good spice We then had the summer salad, peccorino radish and greens a nice variety Was it worth the ten dollars? Not sure, but it did satisfy my date, as well as me The wine was Millbrook Tocai Friulano. loved every sip It was delicious, bright, delicate and crisp Then came the Margharetta pizza much to our surprise It was that pita bread again with sauce cheese and basil, and a bit small in size We asked that our pizza be extra crispy as we prefer it that way It came out soft and doughy, not what we expected, must be the new type of gourmet While I appreciate the fine reviews Lolitas had received since they opened the door To us, the pizza did not hit the mark, we could not give it a score It is too bad the pizza was not what we expected however, the other items were very nice Although, I must admit, the portions were a bit small as compared to the price Don't think we will go back to Lolita's for a while So sorry to say that their type of gourmet pizza is simply not our style read more

Wow! This place is my new favorite pizza spot in Poughkeepsie. Everything from the atmosphere to the staff was amazing. My friend and I sat at the bar and the bartender Joe was great! Great personality, quick to get us whatever we needed, and served some great drinks! The food was so good. We got two pizzas to spilt, and an apple cobbler dessert. The salads looked amazing and I'll be trying that next time. Definitely recommend this if you're in the mood for some good pizza and some good drinks! read more

I got the special Broccollini Toast which had waaay too many salty ingredients to make it palatable pecorino and cubed Soppressata and a questionable add of RYE bread for the toast which was large crunchy and hard to eat. The egg on top and presentation were great but omit the pecorino cheese over top. I see this dish with a Burrata ball on the side and a nice slice of tomato to round out the acid profile. SO good. our waitress was so on top of it and incredibly nice. she recommended the kale caesar to us and she was so right. the kale was massaged, dressing was clearly homemade, copious amounts of parmesan, and the pistachios added the perfect nuttiness. i also got the lolita's lemonade mocktail and it had such a unique flavor and wasn't too sweet. mushroom pizza had so much depth of flavor and all of our pizzas somehow came out at the perfect temperature so that we could immediately dig in, but they also weren't too cold. overall, an amazing meal and amazing service. i get why this place has a ton of great reviews. read more

We went to Lolita's for the first time yesterday and while we had to wait for a while to get a spot, it was completely worth it. Sat at the bar and Krysta was the best part of the evening! My family and I LOVED the pizza at Lolita's! This was a 5 Star review based on the pizza. We had four different ones. All delicious. I deducted 1 star for the cocktails. There was a creative selection and we were all excited to try them. These guys have mastered the deceptive empty cocktail perfectly. The drink is in a very small diameter glass. Tall and thin. It's packed with so much ice it was difficult to get the straw back in. You see the level of liquid go halfway down on the first sip. Indicating the lack of volume in the glass. What a shame. Good drink recipes that are made well... ruined by the feeling of being ripped off. The other star is deducted for the lack of good air conditioning. It had to be 80 degrees or more in the restaurant. Another simple thing that really took away from enjoying our time there. I do want to mention that we were greeted warmly immediately upon entering. Brianna was our server. She has a perpetual smile so bright we could see it through the PPE mask. Lovely girl doing a great job. We didn't hold the heat and drink issue against her. Fantastic. I love a place that has a limited menu. The 12 inch Neapolitan pizza was on point we had the Margarita, Soprasata, and Broccolino. All had amazing and unique flavors. Chopped Salad was large enough to share, and the Mac and Cheese was outrageous. In Poughkeepsie doing the rails over the Hudson Bridge and could smell the aroma from the bridge so we had to give this place a try. So pleased we did. Truly GREAT!!!! experience today at Lolitas! We were driving to see FDR's home at Hyde Park, hungry, and short on time but hoping to grab a yummy quick bite. Not only was the wait staff charming and fast, but they went to the extra trouble of speedily making my Caesar kale salad with pistachios from scratch as they realized my salt allergy would be a problem woth the kale prepared ahead by massage with a little salt. In my experience its very unusual for chefs and waitstaff to be so on the ball and actually thinking ahead about customer needs in this very considerate way. Thank you!! My hubby had the neopolitan pizza which was divine with what tasted like a freshly prepared homemade sauce and fresh basil. Bonus- lovely shaded outdoor seating area so we didny have to worry about exposure to COVID! Kudos to this outstanding group of performers who were not only speedy and considerate but also really know how to knock out gourmet food st reasonable prices. We were seated outside at a perfect spot, water and ice was delivered for the pup in a copper bowl, and our experience only got better. The whipped ricotta and rosemary focaccia, delicious arancini, garlicky lemony white pizza, pepperoni pizza, and an amazing roasted corn and heirloom tomato and provolone salad were all the perfect temperature, portions (shared), and fresh ingredients in rich tasty dishes. Service and timeliness was perfect from the choice of bottled tap water to the carafe suggestion for the chilled wine. Sadly we didn't have room for dessert but we will go back again and again. yea the food was really good but I spent the majority of the time eavesdropping on the tinder couple sitting next to me. The guy sits down and the girl goes "so what's your backstory?" to which he replies "scoliosis." I choke on my pizza quietly, and hear the girl, fully sincere, say "that's crazy, im a taurus." They then agree to name their future children after types of pasta, I.e. rigatoni for a boy, penne for a girl, while I silently have a coughing fit at the next table. 10/10 recommend, great location for tinder dates apparently. read more

What a great meal. Had the Kale appetizer which had crunchy ground pistachios and a light creamy lemon dressing. Also split the blistered shisito peppers which had a nice aioli on the side (I think it was red pepper). Both dishes were really fresh and perfectly prepared. The sopresatta pizza was incredible with honey sweetness and hot pepper spice. Sprinkled some crushed red pepper on top which kicked it up a notch.
