The "magic parlor" is in a space on Exposition near Fair Park. There's street parking or a couple of paid lots if the street is full. The space is pretty small, but didn't feel cramped with 50 or so guests. I booked my ticket online for $20 through Prekindle. You can also pay another $10 to reserve seats in the front two rows. We strolled in and they checked us in. Seats were first come first serve so we were in the very back. My friend brought in his cooler of booze, but I also noticed there were a few free bottles of wine at the front and some bottle water. Very nice! David Jessup a local comedian opened the show and was the MC all night between acts with the help of Audrey Grace who opened and closed the curtains and held up the applause sign when David was bombing (haha). There were a couple of burlesque dancers at this show. One, Bethany Summersizzle, danced a few times. The other, Jai Le Bait did crazy stunts like swallow a knife! Confetti Eddie is the main performer and he reminded me of the old timey black and white movies where the folks didn't talk. He was so cute and charming. He did a few corny magic tricks that were still very fun to watch! Popper Zander was on hand this Friday night and played a few songs of her own that went well the night's burlesque/side show theme. Overall we had such a fun night. It's kind of awesome turning your cell phone off for an hour or so and enjoying a show with live performers. We saw the Fright Night act and had a great time…read more Prior to the show beginning we had the chance to watch two magicians perform - one who performed magic with rings and one who performed magic with cards. Both were very good and the tricks were fun. The venue is very intimate and had only seats 50 or so - which meant that virtually all of the audience had the chance to participate in the show at some point. The show itself had several acts along with two musical interludes from the Wild Natives (who were also quite good). Afterwards the performers invite the audience for drinks at one of the bars close by. We had a great time and would recommend it.

Our actor Troy was simply AMAZING and didn't break character once! He got everyone involved, kept us entertained, and made this murder mystery so much FUN!!! I would highly recommend this!

They utilize both local and national playwrights and out on a variety of shows -- solos, musicals and straight plays. T3 is definitely a can't-miss theatre experience in The Big D!

Essentially, they are jazz enthusiasts who cater to other jazz enthusiasts by bringing quality jazz programming in the form of performances by local, national, and international jazz talent. They also keep you upto date with other jazz happenings around the area. They have brought performances by artists like Keiko Matsui, Joyce Spencer, The Rob Holbert Group, Andrea Dawson, and Marvin Sapp. They typically put on their series in local event centers and performance halls, and even restaurants around town...depending on the draw of the artist. My only regret is that being a series, they are not continuous in their performances. In fact, they do a series only every couple of years.

Staff kept things organized and the crowd was chill. Only real downside: parking can be kind of rough. I just used uber/lyft. Overall though, great venue for intimate and small shows!

It is quaint and magical and the staff are so very friendly and accommodating. There's a snack bar with nachos and popcorn and candy, too. The show was super cute with some fun special effects. We saw The Little Mermaid and I was impressed with how closely they were able to keep with the story that kids know and love. They did have to change some of the character's names and appearance (for copyright reasons, I'm sure) but none of the kids seemed to mind. They have a princess breakfast show coming up and I am considering taking my daughter back again for that. A very fun experience at a hidden gem!
