Overall, Lombardi's has a lot going for it: great food and reasonable pricing. It has also been one of the longest running restaurants in Salisbury, predating the big chains (like Applebees) by a couple decades. I have fond memories of eating their fantastic pizza since I was a young kid. Unfortunately, they sometimes have spotty service. You can go one time, and get waited on right away with no problem. Other times, you might find the wait just a bit too long. Not a big deal if the place is busy at a peak time -- but this isn't always the case. I still recommend the place, just based on the great food alone. Just keep that other part in mind. read more

Was in there last night, waitress was the worst, the pizza sucked hardly any mushrooms on the pie. I have had Lombard's pizza at other locations, so i thought we would get good food here(WRONG). I've been eating at Lombardi's since I was a child. I decided to bring my girlfriend who's not from Salisbury here to show her good food. Instead of a great meal, we got frozen mozzarella sticks. We sent them back and they remade them. Then when I got my cheese steak, there was a giant spot of mold on the bread. Blue mold -- how could you miss that. I walked up to the front and asked for a manager. He told our waitress to comp our check. She comes back and charges me for the tiny pitcher of sangria. So basically they covered the cold cheese sticks, the moldy bread, and the food my girlfriend was now terrified to eat. Lambardi's, you have fallen off. You were careful to charge me for a $16 pitcher but not careful enough to fry your mozzarella sticks and throw away your moldy bread. Bye forever. read more

Cheese and toppings were good but the crust was very thin and floppy. The rest of the pizza was good but the crust seemed underdone.

I only give 2 stars bc the staff seemed somewhat helpful. The place is dated which isn't always a bad thing, but when you serve pizza that is bland and has the consistency of cardboard, there's an issue. I have been coming to this Lombardi's for 35 years and I have never experienced such a horrible evening. The nachos were chips in a plastic bowl with sides of cheese and chili, the pizza did not even fill up the pan and did not taste the same as it normally did. The veal parm was a chicken cutlet with tomatoes dumped on top of it and very watery. The shredded chicken cheesesteak was chunks of chicken not shredded. The only thing that was good was the beer. I will not come back to this location and that is sad because I went there every Friday night for my whole childhood. The Lombardi's in ocean city will get my business. Get bacon on your meatball sub. Plus the pizza isn't bad. I think the white pizza is their best. It's greasy enough to drip onto the plate when you fold it to eat it and that leaves for a nice dipping oil for your back-end crust. read more

I order a pizza for the kids every time we go here, they love it! An order of breadsticks with marinara sauce is a great way to start the meal. The Mrs and I order our Strombolis, which we are only able to eat half and the leftovers heat up nicely back at home. The Mrs loves the cheesesteak stromboli, and I go for the build your own. Back in the 80's ang 90's they had the best pizza and food. Ever since they were sold it just keeps getting worse. Last Sunday I had spaghetti and sausage and my friend had meatball sub. Spaghetti was bland and watery. Meatball sub was just sauce with two small meatballs. $30 plus tip for this was outrageous. Wont be back. read more

I haven't been in this place for over six-years. I last reviewed in August of 2011. Not a thing has changed during that time. The place is still dark, dank, and very dirty. The floor hasn't seen a good cleaning, waxing and buffing in many, many years. Many of the banquettes are torn. I really wanted to like this place because I love Italian food, so I gave them a few chances. The problem is that whenever I ordered delivery, there was ALWAYS at least one item missing (side of sauce, dessert, drinks, etc.). The most recent time really ended it for me though. I was overcharged in person by about $8 from what the total said online (yes, including taxes, etc.). Plus, multiple items were missing. I'm pretty forgiving, which is why I have them a few chances, but come on guys... There's only so many times you can screw up a customer's order before they feel inclined to write a bad review. I hate going here, but took my kid to get pizza and since this was close, i hoped my experience would be decent. First of all, I hate this place because it's dirty,dingy and for the quality of the food, overpriced. I like mushrooms on my pizza. But canned mushrooms are a cheap, tasteless way to go. The salads are horrible, and I can't think of anything i have gotten there where it was something I would come back for. So, I ordered a pizza and bread sticks for my kid. They forgot to make the breadsticks. This wouldn't be a huge deal, but they insisted on finding the order, to make sure I paid for them, before they even STARTED making them-while the pizza got cold. This is even as the cashier said she remembered ringing up the order for the bread sticks. I had to dig through my bag to find the reciept to show we paid for breadsticks in order to get them to START them. I didn't like the fact that they were so concerned with the $ that they would make me feel like I was trying to pull one over on them. It just reminded me why I HATE going there. There are much better pizza resturants in Salisbury. I can't, for the life of me, understand why this one stays in business. Oh, and the food was nothing to write home about either. read more

I love Lombardi's pizza and Italian subs. Delicious. I occasionally have their vegetable beef soup - some days the soup is better that others. I recently ordered the soup and requested bread and butter instead of their crackers. They said ok and brought me a plate with 2 buttered pieces of bread with potato chips. I found that strange. When I received my bill - I was charged $3.29 for the buttered bread. It was listed as a toasted cheese sandwich on my bill. I questioned the girl at the register thinking this must be a mistake. She info med me that the bill was correct - that bread & butter is the same price. The owner was in the general location and I saw him look slightly over his shoulder - he heard - but did not say a word. Very disappointing. When I ordered - the waitress should have mentioned to me that 2 pieces of bread at Lombardi's cost $3.29 - she should have said something. Again, very disappointing. I don't think that I will be going again to Lombardi's for a while and I urge anyone that goes to carefully check the prices on anything that you ask for. Feel cheated. read more

Terrible food with a high price tag. Paid nearly $30 for a large pizza and wings. The wings were $9 and you only get 7. They were dry and tiny. Saddest looking little wings ever. The pizza was even worse. It was tasteless and undercooked. The worst part is both were delivered cold. Somehow, the only thing delivered warm was the ranch dressing in celery. Never had hot ranch dressing before today but - gross. Save your money and order from somewhere else. read more

I ordered three pounds of hot wings, an extra large cheese pizza and mozzarella sticks.....when I got home I noticed there were very few wings in the Styrofoam container and was pretty sure I didn't get the three pounds I had ordered....I weighed the wings in the container and they only weighed 1lb 6 oz, when I called I was told they consider six wings to a pound..clearly they don't weigh them and they advertise fresh never frozen and they were frozen!!!!...the pizza was not done and the mozzarella sticks were soggy....needless to say it was a total waste of money and I will not be going back nor will I recommend to any of my friends..... read more

Worse place ever we got a delivery today. We ordered a pizza it wasn't what we order they over charged us then we call for our money back they SD they would credit us then owner wife calls back screaming at my coworker like she is trash telling us to never order from them again. She wouldn't refund us our money then hung up on us ..the worse place ever will never go there again. No one will ever talk to someone like that.
