Just came from lunch. My 5 year old got a side of pasta with butter and a side of steamed broccoli. Price: 23.00 13.00 for the broccoli 10.00 for the pasta I had the stratchatella soup which was so salty and Caesar salad drowning in dressing. I chose this location based on its' proximity to my hotel, and it was a very good choice. There's plenty of outside seating, and the tables were socially distanced from one another. Inside, much the same. Tables and booths are properly distanced, and there is bar seating (although again the stools are not too close together). All staff were masked, and all surfaces appeared to be clean. Signage reminders are placed throughout the restaurant, reminding patrons of the health directives. I felt safe visiting here. I ordered the chicken fingers appetizer, as I was not that hungry, paired with a nicely chilled Stella Artois. The chicken fingers were very good, nicely breaded but not overly so, and served with a side of ketchup and another side of honey mustard for dipping. Of course, the Stella was awesome as usual, poured from a bottle Into the iconic Stella gold-rimmed glass. There was a decent amount of customers, both outside and in, so obviously they must be doing something right. The menu is eclectic, not your usual Italian fare: pasta, specialty pizzas, etcetera. There is a full bar as well, if you're in the mood for a cocktail. Staff were friendly and attentive. If I could give Lombardo's 6 stars I would! Ate here 3 times so far and will definitely be coming back. We ordered the buffalo wings, truffle fries, chicken parm sub and a meatball sub. The food was delicious to say the least- the buffalo wings were not over sauced and had the perfect amount of heat, the truffle fries were amazing and not soggy at all. The portions of the sandwiches were HUGE, you can definitely order one and split it with another person and be full for lunch or dinner. The meatball parm was great, my only complaint was that it could've used a little more salt but that's my personal preference. The chicken cutlet parm was also amazing. The second time we ordered takeout from here we got 3 pies which again, were amazing. The third time we ate here we decided to eat outdoors with a few friends since they were now allowing outdoor dinning. Once again I will say the portions are worth the price. The picture I included is what I had for dinner- and you are given the choice of penne or spaghetti pasta as a side, or a garden salad. The chicken could have used more seasoning but I think it was because the bland mushroom flavor almost washed out the flavor of the sauce. I looked over the entire menu and I honestly think every item here will be phenomenal. It is unfortunate, that it being my first time going there wasn't great. I've heard before, that the food wasn't all that but I wanted to see for myself. From jump, when our wine arrived to the table it was super flat, as if it was sitting out from the night before opened. Second glass we got was better, thankfully. Went with chicken Alfredo to be on the safe side, and that tasted like straight broccoli. Not a fan. Calamari wasn't the best, shouldn't have been fried for the way it is served. Aug 2022, came to the Dobbs Ferry location with my family because I thought it was easier to park the car instead of going to the White Plains location where parking is crazy. The food and service was ok, no complaints. When the $133 bill arrived, I handed the Server the $75 Lombardos, GIFT CARD and my credit card, only to have the Server tell me the Gift Card could only be used at their White Plains Location where it was purchased, NOT the Dobbs Ferry location. How Crazy is that, it is the same restaurant. When you go to their website it say CHOOSE YOUR LOCATION, White Plains OR Dobbs Ferry. It is the same restaurant and the Gift Card should have been allowed to be used at either location. So, Lesson Learned, I am NEVER buying a gift card from this restaurant for anyone, and I am also telling my family and friends to think twice before buying a Gift Card from them. read more

3.4 stars LOL No pasta in the Pasta Fagioli LOL I was staying at he hotel in the complex with my best friend and came here for a couple of drinks. I met two delightful young ladies and chatted it up (always good). My friend's kids were coming to visit so I placed a takeout order for the four of us. I already told you about the soup LOL The Arancinis were pretty good, my pasta dish was good, and my friend's son shrugged when we asked how his wings were. My friends had a reservation here for a party of 20. It was for a surprise birthday so time was of the essence. The made us wait 20 minutes past our reservation time before getting us seated. Because of that we had to skip on most of the birthday decorations. Fine, people were still eating and the restaurant can't do much about that. Whatever. With that in mind, the service after was not great. They gave us one pitcher of water for the entire table throughout the entire night. The food was also very underwhelming and overpriced. Then at the end of the night, although only 15 of us had showed up, they overcharged us because we got the reservation number off, even though there was literally no more space for anyone else to be seated at the table! We sat down for outdoor dinner at 8pm 10 minutes after we were greeted with water from the bus boy. Approximately 10 minutes later the waitress came over and we quickly gave her our complete order. Our appetizer came out about 20 mins after we ordered. We had ordered fried calamari and they were cold and rubbery and a salad (that never came out) From this, we were waiting patiently for an additional 1/2 hour, we decided to ask for our entrees and pizza. A few minutes after we asked, our food came to the table " cold", It seam as if it was sitting out for awhile and it was forgotten for. It was over an hour after we sat down we gotten our cold food but no pizza. So we asked again" were is the pizza." The excuse was " the order wasn't put in correctly. so we waited an additional 15 minutes for our pizza. At this point the experience was ruined. I could understand if it was busy but it was not. Went here this past weekend, so glad I finally came to visit this location. I like the fact that we were able to sit inside, which the decor was really nice. Hidden gem is how I would classify this establishment. It's a nice, chic kinda upscale Izzy parlor right across from the movie theater in Dobbs Ferry, plenty of free parking and nice staff. I frequent during my lunch break and they always have plenty of seating; Mot because they lack customers, they just have many tables and booths. Be safe! I am new here and ordered from the wrong restaurant. My husband died 2 weeks ago. I can no longer afford my rent. When Lomnardo's came, the driver said I hadn't paid. Told him I would pay upstairs. He followed me into the building, held his foot on the elevator ( I am 68 and disabled) and was about to follow me upstairs. The food was awful. The pasta had no sauce. Food was good, nothing exceptional. We won't go back as this restaurant passes on their bank card fees to the customer. No written notice on menus or on bill.
