This was my first time visiting this Italian restaurant with friends, located in Scarsdale. The ambiance was chill, they had great seating options and it seems like a good place to celebrate a special occasion. The food was authentic and the prices were affordable which made the experience better. For my main dish I ordered the pappardelle bolognese which is a ribbon style pasta that comes with meat tomato sauce, the pasta was fresh and had a great balance of flavor. The meat was chunky and the portions were generous, and I paired it with a prosecco. We also got a chicken parm pizza, the pizza had a lot of flavor and a thick crust. The staff was attentive and super friendly. They didn't rush us out, which I really appreciated. I was able to sit and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. This place impressed me, the food was amazing, the vibe was welcoming, and the prices were very reasonable.

I really wanted to love this place. I am always in Ridge Hill & just never decided to give it a try until the other day. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The service was good, We decided to sit outside since it was nice out. Unfortinitly Happy Hour prices are only at the bar. FOOD: Meatballs & Ricotta: We decided to send the meatballs back they had a weird taste to them and were pretty cold in the middle. Garlic Parmigiano Wings: We asked for the wings to be extra crispy, fried twice. We didn't know they would be in a bed of sauce. They did come out last but they definitely weren't crispy enough. We barely tasted the wings. Arugula & Prosciutto Pizza: The pizza was the best thing arugula & prosciutto were fresh. Fries: We loved the fries DRINKS: We tried the Watermelon Spritz + Last Dance both were really good. We did end up sitting at the bar after closing our tab since a friend wanted to grab a salad. She loved her usual Arugula Apple salad. I tried the Sangria at the bar and it was pretty good. All in all we did enjoy the Pizza so I would stick to the pizza if we decide to come back.

Hidden spot. Went in on a friday evening at the tail end of happy hour. Sat at the bar and waa immediately greeted. The server informed me that happy hour was ending soon. My order: spicy mango wings, mango public drink and the apple arugula salad. Wings came really quickly. Flavorful, sauce which was really good. Portion was large. Issue i had was the wings were not a crispy. They were very light bordering white under the sauce. Wings were cooked but could have been done more and also wasn't seasoned. Wrong was good but had it been seasoned, done crisper would have been so good. The drink was really good just as. Salad was with arugula. The apple wasn't crispy crunchy but soft crunchy. Presentation was really good, but needed some contrast such as a blue cheese or maybe a goat cheese. I also loved seeing the bartender cleaning continually.

This is my third time visiting this restaurant and I can say that I'm not disappointed. I make the effort to get the coffee expresso, which is amazing. The food is excellent especially the pizza.

I was very pleased at Public Pizza- I went on a date night with my 7 year old nephew who loves pizza- he got the kids pepperoni pie which came with bunny ears- I thought that was pretty cute and so did my nephew. It put a smile on my nephews face. And he devoured it! The place feels comfortable and relaxed. It is a great place to have dinner with family and friends since they have many other delicious choices.

Would've gave 5 stars but service is not good. Came here on a Saturday night for dinner with a group of 6. Walking in you smell the pizza so you know it smells amazing in here. We all decided to play it safe and try different pies. The pizza pies come with about 5-6 pieces and the pie is 12" round. The margheritta was hands down everyone's favorite. The prosciutto and arugula was also pretty tasty. The pepperoni pie was great. The only two pizzas I didn't taste were the regular and the margerita with an add on of chicken. But apparently they were also good. App ordered was calamari, which was perfectly fried and lightly breaded. And some cheesy garlic bread which was good as well. The vibe here is romantic and classy, with nice music. As for the service, it was beyond questionable!! The waitress we got interrupted me multiple times, when I asked for water for my sister in law she was quick to say she already got a sprite. & another girl who brought out my pizza said he's your "salami" pizza. Obvious that she's not knowledgeable about Italian cuisine what so ever. Embarrassing actually. We said salami ? This is prosciutto. She said yeah whatever it is and walked away. Service wasn't the best whatsoever but the food made up for it.

New York CLASSIC NY STYLE PIZZA LUNCH

Went to happy hour ordered the New York Style cheese pizza and buffalo wings, they were both really good. Service was great, Graziella was attentive and very friendly. I would recommend.

I think this Italian place is the cutest! It's a dim romantic setting and the food is great. We got an order of baked clams as an appetizer. It was wonderful but there were some shells in it that we had to spit out. The service was fast but not extremely friendly. I got the spaghetti carbonara and it was very good! My boyfriend loves the Alfredo pasta.

Looks can definitely be deceiving…read more We came here with my husband, daughter, and nephew thinking we were in for a great meal because the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, the garlic bread was the best thing we ate all night... and that's saying a lot because everything went downhill after that. I ordered the salmon, which came out undercooked. The menu said it came with arugula, but instead it was sitting on top of plain lettuce covered in what tasted like bottled salad dressing. It was honestly disgusting. My daughter ordered the fried chicken chunks, and you could clearly tell they were reheated. There wasn't an ounce of crisp left to them. And of course... they were served on top of more lettuce. My husband's steak with mashed potatoes was the only decent meal at the table. It was the only plate someone actually finished. My nephew got the chicken wings and fries, and both looked just as bad as they tasted. I also ordered my daughter a side of rice and beans. The rice never came, and the "red beans" were some weird fried bean mixture that looked nothing like red beans. At that point we were just over it. The service made it even worse. I told the manager that my salmon wasn't served with the arugula it was supposed to come with, and instead had this sad lettuce salad. He told me, "Don't worry, I'll take care of you," and then disappeared. When I asked to speak to him again, they refused to even give me his name. I'll be disputing this charge with my credit card because this entire experience was unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and save your money. This place is all about appearances. The restaurant is gorgeous, but the food was terrible and the service wasn't any better. I honestly don't know how this place has so many good reviews. Either people are getting paid to leave them, or they've never had real Spanish/Latin food before. I definitely won't be back.

I opted to mix and match tacos and all the flavors were delicious. --I really like when places offer a mix and match situation because I like variety. Though pricy, all of our drinks were on point. The large beer selection was a hit as were the refreshing margaritas. Our server was very friendly. (He did however keep noting things that were listed as spicy were very spicy when no one in our group found anything spicy at all despite the dish title lol, but I guess that's personal preference). The restaurant is definitely on the pricier side so keep that in mind. I would definitely return. The menu offers something for everyone.

The centerpiece of this restaurant in my opinion is the beautiful horse shoe shaped bar in the middle of the restaurant. I typically enjoy a nice clean and clear bar so you can fall into the feeling of the restaurant and see what is happening all around. This bar had bottles of wines lining the bar, in my opinion I would remove the bottles and allow for a more open feel. Personally I felt that the bottles created a barrier between me and the bar tender. The outside tables are tables typically for 2 or 4 people with banquet seating and then chairs. They had a nice selection of wines and I stepped out of ny own comfort zone of a cab and tried the house Pinot Noir accompanied by the B6 board. Overall I was satisfied with the meat and cheese selection and baguette that was served with it had a nice oil on it. Presentation was well done with one exception in my mind, the breads ticks came in a package. Presentation factor went down with that. Take one of the small wife carafe used to serve the wine and present it in that. Overall I felt something was missing but could not put my finger on it.
