Combo $3 includes wine, soup or salad, and garlic bread.
    Brittany S.

Very small intimate place. Cozy booths. Definitely recommend some background Italian music or something. Decent service. Great portions of food. The lasagna looked homemade with beautiful layers. The add $3 to make it a combo is worth it. Your choice of very rich ice cream with fresh garlic bread and soup or salad. I will make it the combo every time. If over 21, the $3 combo gets you a complimentary wine as well. Tiny but cute.

Where's the cheese lol and if you noticed it's a side lasagna lol

Sadly I just found out Mr Carlo the founder of this establishment my he rest in peace Also sadly the changes of this establishment the quality of the food, the service of the food, and the employees have been declining hopefully and his honor they will honor this establishment and what he fought for to keep it afloat for many years and don't let it decline

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - and we're back! We ordered the Combo #2 (beef lasagna, spinach ravioli, and spaghetti with sausage) and Chicken Parmigiana with the Complete Dinner combo of garlic bread, soup, wine, and ice cream. The spinach ravioli was our favorite part of the combo as the the spaghetti was simple and the sausage mild. The beef lasagna was a bit sweeter and more sour than we cared for. The chicken parmigiana was good but slightly on the drier side. The wine glass shrank in size! But the strawberry cheesecake was great. Service: 5/5 - super friendly and attentive service. Ambiance: 5/5 - cozy location that's clean and homey. Value for price: 3/5 - pricier for noodles and pasta. While we do enjoy the food, the price increase was a bit more than expected. The last menu we saw from 4 months ago had the lunch specials under $10.

Old School authentic Italian restaurant in the South Bay, Gardena to be exact. Lomeli's was chosen as an afternoon lunch trial for my wedding. The portions are considerably large and the quality is great. My faves are the beef lasagna, the shrimp scampi pasta and pizza, and the baked pasta. The service is great each time I've gone and it's affordable. The ambiance is pretty dark inside but after being there for a while you get used to it. It's a must try local spot!

Breaded rib eye may not look impressive but it tastes sooo good.
    Steve O.

Ordered the rib eye cutlet for dinner and it was simply divine. Steak was cooked perfectly and oh so tender sitting on a bed of spaghetti with a tasty tomato sauce. The garlic bread could have been toasted more and prepared with more butter but this was a minor issue. Thanks Lomeli for another delicious meal! Much better than dealing with that psycho pasta guy in Redondo Beach. Some of you know who I'm talking about.

A Gardena Gem! You know those places in your hometown that you can not go to for a while and when you finally do it's just amazing, as usual? Welp, that's Lomeli's. Every Friday my friend and I have dinner at a Gardena-area, mom & pop/independent, restaurant. We've visited quite a few places but it was only today that we got a chance to enjoy Lomeli's. You walk in and nothing has changed, and that's a good thing, Your eyes adjust to the low lighting and you make your way to one of their booths, covered in that orange leather that's just so Lomeli's. Service is always great. The first thing to come to your plate is their classic carrots and pepperoncinis with ranch for dipping. My friend ordered the lasagna which comes with a serving of their garlic bread (buttery, crunchy, garlicky) and I had a small portion of their house salad and a small pepperoni, pineapple (don't judge me), and olive pizza. I had it made thin crust, it's the best. If you still have room after eating get yourself some of their spumoni ice cream. Lomeli's is a great place. Great food, great people, great service. And if you need an event catered, you can't go wrong with their catering menu! Support local!

$70 with taxes for a half tray of Fettuccine Alfredo and bread. The website says it serves 10. Its a joke. We had 10 people and it served a small plate that was not enough. Never again. I get that things are expensive but for the mediocre taste, I much rather take my business elsewhere.

Paid 10.50 for a meal that is now disgusting!
    Rena Y.

I ordered a side of spinach ravioli that comes in marinara sauce with a side sausage and got spinach ravioli in Alfredo sauce and NO sausage even the picture makes me want to puck. It is just disgusting! I called Lomeli's and of course they don't take responsibility because I used DoorDash that I needed to go through them to get a refund. I paid $10.50 and all DoorDash is giving me back is $7.14 AND I have NO dinner. Thanks Lomeli's I have been a customer since you opened but if this is how you do business I will take my business elsewhere. DoorDash did not make and package the food they picked it up sealed but it was their fault for your worker not knowing how to fill an order correctly? I have used you for catering events and this just disgusts on how your employees treat customers now! With this kind of service you are going to start losing a lot of customers if haven't already started losing them.

I like Lomeli's, it's a pretty popular restaurant around the South Bay. I would say most people take out but the restaurant has such a nice and cozy old school Italian vibe to it. The food is good, but to be honest not the best I've ever had. I love their chicken alfredo, I'd have to say that's their best dish. I have had their pizza, which is good not great and the red sauce pasta was just ok. I've had better at. A multitude of spots. That being said it might be a matter of preference so go try it yourself.

Omg! Best meatball sandwich! Amazing salads and pasta but that meatball sandwich is to die for haven't had a better one!

I'm from Riverside, but I was born in Carson. When I was little, this place was a frequent stop for us. It's been about 40 years since I had been there and I have been dying to go back and see if their lasagna was as good as I remembered. So I drove down with my mom and my daughter who was here from spring break. Everything we ordered was delicious, and service was great!!! Ambiance is simple and authentic. We ordered a little of everything. Minestrone, lasagna, antipasto salad, and fettuccine Alfredo. This place still has has rich flavors that feel like home cooking and made with love. It was a great dining experience, I'm so glad it was not a disappointment. I'll be back with my pops again soon!!!

I've been coming to this gem since I was a kid and it holds a special place in my heart. I often order takeout but make sure to eat it fresh so the noodles don't get soggy! While my wife thinks it's overrated, I keep coming back because it's more than just food; it's nostalgia. For me, the pasta here is solid and consistent, and I proudly consider myself a Lomeli's loyalist. My go to is Pasta with pink sauce, chicken, and mushrooms. It's the kind of comfort food that keeps me coming back for more, and I know I'll be returning again soon!

Spoon House is known for their Japanese-style pastas, so we got the Japanese-style clam sauce with mushrooms as well as the Japanese-style cod-roe and butter sauce with squid and uni. I was really impressed with how clean the flavors of both pastas were! I ate so much and never felt overwhelmed as I usually do with pastas. The seafood also tasted really fresh and the squid was buttery soft and not chewy or tough. They also have $1 salads which had a tasty, classic Japanese dressing and fresh greens. You just can't find any food for $1 these days, so the $1 pricepoint was really surprising! I also love that they gave a huge serving of bread and butter as an appetizer. The staff was super kind and accommodating, and the restaurant is very cute and retro. They have a small parking lot in the back, as well as easy street parking. Overall, I'm already really looking forward to coming back here and trying more of their dishes. Or getting the same thing because it was just that good!

Somebody was celebrating graduations, there was birthdays there was a baseball team overall just a really busy restaurant. Nothing notable about the ambience overall just comfortable place for a very, just like family, friendly Restaurant vibe. I have the burrata caprese and I think it could use more balsamic I mean burrata is burrata so it was fantastic. The tiny tomatoes throw me off a little bit for but like in general everything was delicious.. My friend ordered the lasagna which I was a little bit envious of after I saw it. It's a huge portion and it's absolutely fantastic.. I had the night special, which is chicken piccata, which was overall very lovely buttery lemon and tangy could've used a little bit more pasta, and the broccoli was cooked really well in general lovely. We share the tiramisu for dessert and I really can't complain. I think it could've been a little bit more punchy when it came to the coffee in the rum, but it was still really good. And General service was great. They were really busy so it wasn't anything too frequently and the manager or the owner checked in on the tables and I'm happy that we went here..

We started with cocktails. I had the Mary Sue ("Pornstar Martini") with vodka, vanilla, passionfruit, salted lime, fino sherry, and champagne foam. YUM. Dangerously good. My husband had the Rob Gentile, an elevated Old Fashioned, and was thoroughly impressed. Service was great, and the food was top-notch. Let's dive in! Meatballs with beef, pork, ricotta, potato purée, tomato sauce, Grana Padano, and arugula--WOW. Cheesy, saucy perfection. Beef Tartare with tonnato, shallot, marjoram, crispy potato, and toast. Delicious and a generous portion. I ordered Coop's Pork Shank with Lambrusco-mustard glaze, aromatic jus, and potato purée. Tender, flavorful, and that broth was incredible. It paired perfectly with the broccolini... ...which we didn't order. We spotted the table next to us enjoying it with burrata and immediately added it to our "next time" list. My son ordered the Chicken Parm with capellini. He loved the huge chicken parm portion, which successfully fed his bottomless teenage appetite, but declared the pasta "too eggy." Teenagers are basically unpaid Michelin critics. My husband ordered the Scarpinocc with braised beef cheek, brown butter, sage, and saba. He loved it, but our resident food critic chimed in with, "I don't really taste the beef." Dessert was the cinnamon bread pudding with ice cream and caramel drizzle--absolutely worth saving room for. They do not give you free refills on drinks, which is ridiculous at this price point--refills should absolutely be included. To make matters worse, you do not get free bread for the table either. I'm guessing since they're coming to a permanent closure, it only makes sense that the quality of the experience (food and service) had began to going down. We were seated immediately, so we were off to a good start. It took a bit of time for Daniel (yep! We got the same server from the last time) to come around and get our orders. It wasn't too bad since the wait gave us the opp to decide on apps and mains, so we got to put all our orders in at once. CALAMARI: Battered thin and crispy. Dash of lemon juice made it better. Quality? Yes. Quantity? Not so much. I thought it was pricey for the amount we got. PEPPERCORN POLPETTINE: Meatballs in cream sauce. Even with the whole peppercorns, the sauce was good. The meatballs, however, didn't taste or look homemade at all. (I recently made frozen meatball soup at home and the meatball's flavor was pretty much similar.) So.. meh... BRUSCHETTA ALLA CHECCA: This was the best app out of the three. Crostini was perfect and the toppings were all perfectly balanced. SPAGHETTI AI NERO DI SEPPIA: Looked great, but lacked flavor. Asked for fresh grated cheese and added black pepper which helped a little, but still missing something... Hubbers got the linguine pesca mare which he loved (he emptied his plate!) So I guess that says a lot. And I'm really glad he liked it, being his birthday and all. He also chose crème brûlée to finish off his birthday treat. (No, they didn't comp it - which is fine, and I don't expect them - or any business - to, even more since they are shutting down. I understand they need all the profit they can get.) Overall a little less stellar than the first visit. I'll admit I was a teenee bit disappointed since we had an amazing experience the first time. All the same, I'm still glad of the experience and wish them well on their future endeavors!

My friend is an El Segundo local and said it was good, and she was right!…read more It's kinda' wonky to find where it is, but you can park in front or the back of the complex because it's all kind of a courtyard type thing, so just park and follow anyone going anywhere, but you'll be led inside the circle and look for the red scooters out front. This is a great place to meet a friend for a chat. The vibe is good, and it's a nice, open place, and it's not too noisy. The food is delicious, and it's presented in a most excellent fashion. I had the hot Italian stromboli. I don't know much about strombolis, but this was a really good one! My friend had the chef's board. I'd say that's the way to go if you wanna' just snack, sample, and share. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. I was there mid-afternoon on a Saturday, between lunch and dinner, and there was plenty of open seating. By the time we left, people were already in line to get in. Shout out to our server Richard. He was awesome and helped set the tone for a great dining experience.

Not a great place for vegans/dietary restrictions…read more Over the phone I had called ahead to ask what options they had for vegans. She ensured me they had plenty by notifying. Sounded promising. This GF crust pizza was one of the suggestions...photos on the site looked decent enough. By the time you add gf crust (+4) , remove the cheese add 2 veggies (+ $6) about 10 pieces of spinach and a few small slices of zucchini) the pizza goes from $23 to $33. And tastes like cardboard. It's lacks sauce and flavor. Will not be ordering this pizza again

When we arrived, I was told there were no reservations under any of the many names I provided. I was pretty stressed out because the young person at the host table just kept saying we have no reservations for that name. Thankfully another hostess realized that 9 customers were waiting for a table; and she quickly set us up for a table with a very short 15 minute wait. The waiter service here is considerably less stellar than the Cerritos location. Not sure if the music was too loud or if he was inattentive because some orders were missed. I completely understand that some hours of service are busier than other times but that's when service needs to be absolutely at its best. Thankfully the server staff were efficient - once food orders were placed, food came out from kitchen and was served in rapid succession. Cocktails are also quite good here. I got the Italian Margarita and it was refreshing. I shared a funghi pizza plus Italian Cobb salad with the table. They were out the Roast branzino and the kitchen substituted red snapper - that was also good but almost overdone on the char. Braised short ribs were tender and juicy. Cavatelli pasta with pesto sauce for the child- green sauce preferred. The Honey Pig pizza also good - has some spicy elements , it might be the hot honey drizzled over the pizza. Ask for the Bomba sauce as an add on - burrata cheese with Calabrian pepper sauce, to top your pizza. Delicious for sharing : focaccia bread, grilled artichoke and Italian Cobb salad - very generous amount of salami and sopresseta plus cheese.
