This is a little gem! Very authentic Italian food. I had the eggplant Parmesan, but I chose to have angel hair with Alfredo sauce as my pasta. I also chose to have no green peppers with the eggplant Parmesan. My son had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and everything was just delicious. Very fresh, we had both wanted extra sauce. They both had sauce. It was absolutely delicious. Service was great ambience was very nice. It was very cozy. And they honor their military. I will definitely be back. We ordered the Combo #2 (beef lasagna, spinach ravioli, and spaghetti with sausage) and Chicken Parmigiana with the Complete Dinner combo of garlic bread, soup, wine, and ice cream. The spinach ravioli was our favorite part of the combo as the the spaghetti was simple and the sausage mild. The beef lasagna was a bit sweeter and more sour than we cared for. The chicken parmigiana was good but slightly on the drier side. The wine glass shrank in size! But the strawberry cheesecake was great. Service: 5/5 - super friendly and attentive service. Ordered the rib eye cutlet for dinner and it was simply divine. Steak was cooked perfectly and oh so tender sitting on a bed of spaghetti with a tasty tomato sauce. The garlic bread could have been toasted more and prepared with more butter but this was a minor issue. Thanks Lomeli for another delicious meal! Old School authentic Italian restaurant in the South Bay, Gardena to be exact. Lomeli's was chosen as an afternoon lunch trial for my wedding. The portions are considerably large and the quality is great. My faves are the beef lasagna, the shrimp scampi pasta and pizza, and the baked pasta. The service is great each time I've gone and it's affordable. The ambiance is pretty dark inside but after being there for a while you get used to it. It's a must try local spot! read more

It is just disgusting! I called Lomeli's and of course they don't take responsibility because I used DoorDash that I needed to go through them to get a refund. I paid $10.50 and all DoorDash is giving me back is $7.14 AND I have NO dinner. Thanks Lomeli's I have been a customer since you opened but if this is how you do business I will take my business elsewhere. DoorDash did not make and package the food they picked it up sealed but it was their fault for your worker not knowing how to fill an order correctly? I have used you for catering events and this just disgusts on how your employees treat customers now! Hubby wanted pasta, and I remembered that I haven't been to Lomeli's for years. So we decided to try it out. We both had Combo #1, with beef lasagna, beef ravioli and spaghetti with meatball. All of that food for the price is an AMAZING value. But I was a little disappointed with some aspects of it. It didn't have enough marinara for all of that food. Every Friday my friend and I have dinner at a Gardena-area, mom & pop/independent, restaurant. We've visited quite a few places but it was only today that we got a chance to enjoy Lomeli's. You walk in and nothing has changed, and that's a good thing, Your eyes adjust to the low lighting and you make your way to one of their booths, covered in that orange leather that's just so Lomeli's. Service is always great. The first thing to come to your plate is their classic carrots and pepperoncinis with ranch for dipping. My friend ordered the lasagna which comes with a serving of their garlic bread (buttery, crunchy, garlicky) and I had a small portion of their house salad and a small pepperoni, pineapple (don't judge me), and olive pizza. I had it made thin crust, it's the best. If you still have room after eating get yourself some of their spumoni ice cream. Lomeli's is a great place. Great food, great people, great service. I had their Alfredo and I gobbled it up. They actually have a combo set where you get a free drink (which includes wine), salad, and a dessert. I'm from Riverside, but I was born in Carson. When I was little, this place was a frequent stop for us. It's been about 40 years since I had been there and I have been dying to go back and see if their lasagna was as good as I remembered. So I drove down with my mom and my daughter who was here from spring break. Everything we ordered was delicious, and service was great!!! Ambiance is simple and authentic. This long-standing small family Italian restaurant is truly a gem. I ordered the linguine with garlic sauce as the pasta was cooked to perfection. I was attending a party and was asked last minute to bring a dish for about 50 people. I called Lomelli's the same day and they were able to take my order without any issue. I ordered a full tray of fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and a half tray of vegetarian salad, and both were excellent. I really appreciated how well everything was packaged. The trays were sealed inside sturdy boxes, and when I took them out, the Alfredo was still warm and ready to serve. The pickup process was smooth and organized, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Everyone at the party enjoyed the food; it was hearty, fresh, and delicious. The only suggestion I have is for the garlic bread. It came in a brown paper bag, so some pieces got soggy from the steam. If it were placed in a sealed tray like the rest of the food, it would stay perfectly warm and crisp. Overall, I'd definitely order from Lomelli's again, especially when feeding a large group. I always love their fettuccini Alfredo pastas. I tried it this time with the shrimp and scallops. The scallops were all chopped I didn't really like it tbh but everything else was good. They give carrots and ranch appetizers I loved that! Besides this I have ordered catering in the past and the sauce is always just poured on top and very water haven't loved that it's better to dine in. I would like for the owner to please upgrade your employees to look like employees maybe the same attire? I can't tell who works here. Staff is always chit chatting. As a Southbay native I've been coming to Lomelis for decades since I was a child. Never again, tonight was a horrible experience. We were driving home and decided on Italian we were about 20 minutes away and decided to call our order in a simple dish that my fiance and I were going to share. They tell us 10 minutes we figure perfect it'll be ready when we get there, my fiance gets down and about 20 minutes pass (on top of the 20 minutes to get there) it's been almost an hour and our food isn't ready. I see various people walk in and out so I decide to ask the counter. The girls are laughing and deep in conversation and wouldn't stop to acknowledge me. Once they finally did I asked about our order which was promised to us half an hour ago. The girl with the tank top and hat proceeds to check and lo and behold our food is magically ready. They continue to giggle and get on their phones, all of a sudden a high pitched scream in my ear startles me there a wild looking server hooting and hollering as she goes behind the counter. Not to mention the cook was yelling and singing from the kitchen, this is EXTREMELY unprofessional as there are various people waiting and this is a tiny spot which deserves a pleasant atmosphere. Lomelis please don't hire children or people with 0 customer service, and please make staff dress appropriately this isn't what I expect at a casual Italian spot they had hoodies, baseball caps, tank tops, etc and we're running around like they were at a friends house. Please do better. Never returning, oh and to the server that gave my fiance attitude please learn some manners and etiquette. read more

Food is Amoreeee! Chefs kiss. Classic Italian dishes with my favorite cheesy gooey pizza that I legit crave when I think of the cheese pizza from the goofy movie. If you know you know! My other favorite dish is the pink sauce (1/2 Alfredo sauce and 1/2 marinara sauce) spinach ravioli and lasagna. I always get the spumoni 3 flavor ice cream for dessert. Great for a cheat meal or date night with your loved ones. My grandma and dad used to take me here ever since I was a little girl. Sadly it is a little outdated and needs some renovations but it still had that home style feel to it last time I went. It makes me happy and reminds me of my late grandma. There was no wait time either and used to be packed. Hopefully business picks up so this restaurant stays open! I probably had like 1-2 bad waitresses over the many times over been here but besides that they keep really good and friendly workers there that I love! Hello, Adam "the manager" has terrible customer service. I placed an order for my niece's birthday party and we ordered a full tray of spaghetti with meat sauce and a half tray of spaghetti with marinara sauce. The spaghetti with meat sauce was the upmost driest pasta I have ever tasted. I called them to make it right and Adam was adamant in not doing so. He stated that they put labels on the food to eat within an hour as the pasta absorbs the sauce. #1 There were no labels on the food #2 I never heard of that a day in my life. I informed him that the spaghetti and marinara sauce did not do that. I also informed Adam that I purchased from them last year for another party and we did not have that issue. He was very rude as to talking over me and told me this was my first purchase from them which is a lie because I always get the shrimp scampi pizza lol in addition to other larger orders I've placed. I love pesto but I never tried the pesto at Lomeli's so I finally tried it (I ordered the classic pesto with mostaccioli pasta and I added chicken) and it is delicious! And we tried the pistachio cheesecake and it is soooooooooo good. I'm not sure what's all in that crust but it is delicious. read more

I've been dining here for 30 years. Today was my worst experience ever (Carlo wasn't there) They always play classical house music, but blaring from the kitchen was a transistor radio sound of loud Latin music and the wait staff has changed to some rude dudes that really don't give a shit. The pasta wasn't drained before plating so there was like red water sitting around my pasta. As I stated before, 30 years and never this.
