    Chicken Palermo and chicken risotto

The vibes were a solid 10/10! Our server Omar was the sweetest guy and super helpful! The food is classic Italian and very saucy. We got the chicken Palermo and chicken risotto.

We love Broginos. The chicken Parm is the best in the south Bay. And Omar is the best server that anyone could ever ask for. When you come here, you are family.

New to Redondo Beach decided to give Brogion's A try I'm glad I did As soon as I walked in I could smell fresh garlic bread And the décor reminded me of a Italian restaurant in little Italy back east I was greeted by the staff and properly seated We were immediately greeted by a server Omar and asked If we wanted drinks We were a party of 4 we order Espresso Martinez Before the server could even bring the Martinez to the table we got A fresh order of hot garlic bread As are server Omar drops off the Express martini's I took a sip and they were perfect Server proceeds to take our order With a smile and a great attitude What I liked was you get soup and salad With your entry Salad was very cold and crisp with a good Italian dressing the soup was very delicious The entrees were brought out In a very timely manner Everyone thought their meal was delicious I had the chicken piccata and I thought it was very good highly recommended Overall great atmosphere service was Top notch Delicious espresso Martinez Really good chicken piccata And THE garlic bread was

    Great place for date night.

I was craving in Italian and looking for a place that was open past 8 o'clock. I've been here once before many years ago, and have been meaning to go back. It was a weekend and quite busy including the bar. We didn't have a reservation, but we're fortunate enough to get a quiet booth in the back after about a 15 minute wait. Great drinks, my martini was made to perfection. So many options on the menu, and you can add soup and salad to your meal, but we opted anla carte because we filled up on the complimentary garlic bread. I ordered the salmon and it was amazing. This is a great spot for a late night dinner or date night.

Italian sausage and pasta, my kid loved it! Pandemic take-out, no dine in right now.

I LOVE BROGINO'S! The food, service and ambiance are next level. Never disappoints. LOVE - 5 Stars!

I really enjoyed the complete meal with garlic bread, salad, and soup in addition to pasta. The salad was very good and nothing like I've had before at an Italian restaurant. The soup also was something I could see one eating as their meal. The pasta I got was bow tie with their secret sauce. It wasn't as good as it sounded based on the description, a little too much going on and the consistency was a bit off. But it was still enjoyable overall. The service was good and restaurant was smaller but I really liked all the decor.

    Atmosphere

Came to have family dinner here and was charmed by the atmosphere. Our waiter Omar was very friendly, helpful, and super chill. The food was also very good we got pasta and the sauce was amazing. I would describe it as herby, homey, and cozy. Comfort food I'd be going back to again for sure.

The waitress taking my order had no personality and didn't check in on me after my food was brought over. I decided to bring my family for dinner, shortly after their official grand opening. I called in to ask if they had a table for four and I was assured they did have one available and would hold it for us over the next 20 minutes. We arrived within 13 minutes and were told that they didn't have anymore tables available and when I mentioned I'd called and one was promised to be held, I could see the "oh crap!" Look on the hostess' face. I was told once again that they didn't have a table available for us but we could sit outside in the cold, with no heater. Since I'd hyped the food up so much, my wife was eager to try it, so she asked that we sit outside and dine there; so I obliged. Service was once again mediocre. The food was tasting great when suddenly my wife spat something out; upon further examination it was literal broken glass! Seriously, broken glass! I immediately took the plate to the manager and he was apologetic and offered to "comp everything" or remake the dish. My wife was still hungry so she opted to have it remade. For me, the experience was ruined. I couldn't finish my meal, while my wife ate most of her remade meal. Once we got the check, my wife's meal was removed. I chose to not pursue the offer to "comp everything," further so I paid and we left. We've not been back and we've told everyone about our experience

The tiny tomatoes throw me off a little bit for but like in general everything was delicious.. My friend ordered the lasagna which I was a little bit envious of after I saw it. It's a huge portion and it's absolutely fantastic.. I had the night special, which is chicken piccata, which was overall very lovely buttery lemon and tangy could've used a little bit more pasta, and the broccoli was cooked really well in general lovely. We share the tiramisu for dessert and I really can't complain. I think it could've been a little bit more punchy when it came to the coffee in the rum, but it was still really good. UPDATE! We came…read moreback about a month later to celebrate Hubbers' birthday, but the experience wasn't the same. I'm guessing since they're coming to a permanent closure, it only makes sense that the quality of the experience (food and service) had began to going down. We were seated immediately, so we were off to a good start. It took a bit of time for Daniel (yep! We got the same server from the last time) to come around and get our orders. It wasn't too bad since the wait gave us the opp to decide on apps and mains, so we got to put all our orders in at once. CALAMARI: Battered thin and crispy. Dash of lemon juice made it better. Quality? Yes. Quantity? Not so much. I thought it was pricey for the amount we got. PEPPERCORN POLPETTINE: Meatballs in cream sauce. Even with the whole peppercorns, the sauce was good. The meatballs, however, didn't taste or look homemade at all. (I recently made frozen meatball soup at home and the meatball's flavor was pretty much similar.) So.. meh... BRUSCHETTA ALLA CHECCA: This was the best app out of the three. Crostini was perfect and the toppings were all perfectly balanced. SPAGHETTI AI NERO DI SEPPIA: Looked great, but lacked flavor. Asked for fresh grated cheese and added black pepper which helped a little, but still missing something... Hubbers got the linguine pesca mare which he loved (he emptied his plate!) So I guess that says a lot. And I'm really glad he liked it, being his birthday and all. He also chose crème brûlée to finish off his birthday treat. (No, they didn't comp it - which is fine, and I don't expect them - or any business - to, even more since they are shutting down. I understand they need all the profit they can get.) Overall a little less stellar than the first visit. I'll admit I was a teenee bit disappointed since we had an amazing experience the first time. We started with cocktails. I had the Mary Sue ("Pornstar Martini") with vodka, vanilla, passionfruit, salted lime, fino sherry, and champagne foam. YUM. Dangerously good. My husband had the Rob Gentile, an elevated Old Fashioned, and was thoroughly impressed. Service was great, and the food was top-notch. Let's dive in! Meatballs with beef, pork, ricotta, potato purée, tomato sauce, Grana Padano, and arugula--WOW. Cheesy, saucy perfection. Beef Tartare with tonnato, shallot, marjoram, crispy potato, and toast. Delicious and a generous portion. I ordered Coop's Pork Shank with Lambrusco-mustard glaze, aromatic jus, and potato purée. Tender, flavorful, and that broth was incredible. It paired perfectly with the broccolini... ...which we didn't order. We spotted the table next to us enjoying it with burrata and immediately added it to our "next time" list. My son ordered the Chicken Parm with capellini. He loved the huge chicken parm portion, which successfully fed his bottomless teenage appetite, but declared the pasta "too eggy." Teenagers are basically unpaid Michelin critics. My husband ordered the Scarpinocc with braised beef cheek, brown butter, sage, and saba. He loved it, but our resident food critic chimed in with, "I don't really taste the beef." Dessert was the cinnamon bread pudding with ice cream and caramel drizzle--absolutely worth saving room for. They do not give you free refills on drinks, which is ridiculous at this price point--refills should absolutely be included. To make matters worse, you do not get free bread for the table either. Operating a restaurant is not an easy task, and as such we are understanding when something goes wrong. We are not as understanding when there are multiple issues. First off, the service was almost insulting. We had early reservations, so I don't think they were overly busy yet, but you wouldn't know that by our server. For all we know he could have been the Italian owner of the restaurant, and if that was the case, that made it even worse. Barely a greeting, no explanation of the specials, just a cheap plastic sleeve one would buy at Staples office supply thrown onto our table. He found our questions about the menu bothersome, and when I asked him about one item, he wrote it down as if I'd ordered it. Luckily we caught his error when I told him what I wanted for dinner and he said, "So you don't want the lasagna?" Um, no, I was just asking a question about the lasagna. We both ordered our meals along with the Heirloom Burrata appetizer. We asked if there was any bread with the appetizer, and he said no, so we asked for a bowl of bread to have with the burrata. It didn't show up, and we had to remind him. It finally arrived with our pasta. Oh well. My wife had ravioli stuffed with crab and lobster. She barely touched it and couldn't have been more disappointed. I told her to send it back, but she doesn't like confrontation. I had the cannelloni, and I have to steal a line I heard from another table: "This tastes like the stuffed shells I buy from Costco." It really did. I guess the pasta is homemade, but you sure couldn't tell from this dish. They came and picked up the dish without commenting on how little my wife had eaten. They asked if we wanted dessert, and, clearly expecting a no, plopped the bill down in front of me. We paid, yes we tipped, and immediately walked a few doors down to get my wife something to eat for dinner. We will never go back.

After we were done, we spoke with the owner, chef Marcus and another employee who were very friendly and you can tell they care about their clients and give the best pizza and experience possible. Definitely coming back, I'll bring my family and more friends because we really loved the pizza and the customer service. I highly recommend this place!

I ordered the truffle mushroom pizza and it was absolutely phenomenal. The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside while still light and airy inside. The truffle flavor was rich without being overpowering, and the mushrooms were fresh and perfectly cooked. Every bite tasted balanced and authentic, like the kind of pizza you hope to find in a small Italian spot that truly cares about the craft. Then came the Nutella calzone, and that alone is worth the visit. Warm, perfectly baked dough with Nutella inside that melts just right. Sweet, indulgent, and honestly one of the best dessert calzones I have ever had. Also the best and most polite service, wonderful people. I have had a lot of pizza around Los Angeles, and this is easily one of the best I have tried. If you are in Redondo Beach and appreciate real quality pizza, this place is a must. Great flavors, great execution, and a spot I will definitely keep coming back to. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.
