If you are hungry, enjoy good service and want a casual night out - this is a great spot! The portions are large. Come hungry. The bread is great. The pours are big. Everything we had was good! We recommend the soup, shrimp scampi, and meatballs. The salad was good but I didn't love the dressing. The spumoni ice cream is Good! We've seen this place for 10 years+ and finally tried it.

The vibes were a solid 10/10! Our server Omar was the sweetest guy and super helpful! The food is classic Italian and very saucy. We got the chicken Palermo and chicken risotto.

New to Redondo Beach decided to give Brogion's A try I'm glad I did As soon as I walked in I could smell fresh garlic bread And the décor reminded me of a Italian restaurant in little Italy back east I was greeted by the staff and properly seated We were immediately greeted by a server Omar and asked If we wanted drinks We were a party of 4 we order Espresso Martinez Before the server could even bring the Martinez to the table we got A fresh order of hot garlic bread As are server Omar drops off the Express martini's I took a sip and they were perfect Server proceeds to take our order With a smile and a great attitude What I liked was you get soup and salad With your entry Salad was very cold and crisp with a good Italian dressing the soup was very delicious The entrees were brought out In a very timely manner Everyone thought their meal was delicious I had the chicken piccata and I thought it was very good highly recommended Overall great atmosphere service was Top notch Delicious espresso Martinez Really good chicken piccata And THE garlic bread was

We love Broginos. The chicken Parm is the best in the south Bay. And Omar is the best server that anyone could ever ask for. When you come here, you are family.

    Great place for date night.

I was craving in Italian and looking for a place that was open past 8 o'clock. I've been here once before many years ago, and have been meaning to go back. It was a weekend and quite busy including the bar. We didn't have a reservation, but we're fortunate enough to get a quiet booth in the back after about a 15 minute wait. Great drinks, my martini was made to perfection. So many options on the menu, and you can add soup and salad to your meal, but we opted anla carte because we filled up on the complimentary garlic bread. I ordered the salmon and it was amazing. This is a great spot for a late night dinner or date night.

Italian sausage and pasta, my kid loved it! Pandemic take-out, no dine in right now.

I LOVE BROGINO'S! The food, service and ambiance are next level. Never disappoints. LOVE - 5 Stars!

I really enjoyed the complete meal with garlic bread, salad, and soup in addition to pasta. The salad was very good and nothing like I've had before at an Italian restaurant. The soup also was something I could see one eating as their meal. The pasta I got was bow tie with their secret sauce. It wasn't as good as it sounded based on the description, a little too much going on and the consistency was a bit off. But it was still enjoyable overall. The service was good and restaurant was smaller but I really liked all the decor.

    Atmosphere

Came to have family dinner here and was charmed by the atmosphere. Our waiter Omar was very friendly, helpful, and super chill. The food was also very good we got pasta and the sauce was amazing. I would describe it as herby, homey, and cozy. Comfort food I'd be going back to again for sure.

Cheese or a place where the waiter judges your shoes. We had a great waiter- dry, professional, and actually helpful when I was dithering between a few dishes. My kind of service. The food was outstanding, starting with the thick, focaccia-style bread, which could probably ruin your appetite if you weren't careful. Fortunately, I was careful. The eggplant parm was exactly what eggplant parm should be: crisp, flavorful, and decidedly not soggy. Because nobody has ever said, "You know what this eggplant needs? More moisture." I had a pesto corkscrew pasta dish whose actual name I neglected to write down because apparently I've reached the limits of my restaurant-reviewing professionalism. Excellent nonetheless. All accompanied by an Aperol Spritz, because hydration is important. It's also only a couple of blocks off Catalina Ave., close enough to the action without being swallowed by it. Bettolino has become my go-to Italian in the South Bay. I've never been disappointed here, and I have considerable experience being disappointed. Cheers!

There are only three tables in the restaurant and the wait can be long because all the food is made to order. The staff is extremely friendly and the service is excellent. Update: After I posted my review, Marco called my personal number and rudely pressured me to remove…read moreit. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior from a business owner. Instead of pressuring customers, he should focus on improving the food, which in my opinion is far from authentic Italian cuisine. Zero stars if Yelp allowed it. The word "authentic Italian" is doing all the work here, because the food certainly is not. I operate businesses in the United States and Europe, including Milan, and I am very familiar with both Italian food and restaurant operations. What I was served here looked and tasted like basic boiled pasta drowned in sauce--not carefully prepared Italian cuisine. The salad was roughly chopped lettuce with dressing and cheese thrown on top. The attached photos speak for themselves. I waited nearly an hour for pasta. That is not craftsmanship; it is a restaurant that cannot properly manage its orders. If the business is understaffed or overwhelmed, customers should be warned before their orders are accepted. I also felt sick after eating the pasta and shrimp. I cannot prove what caused it, but I will not ignore that part of my experience. I tried to give this business another chance today and called repeatedly during its posted hours. Nobody answered. Why advertise telephone ordering if customers cannot reach anyone? I also personally witnessed Marco speaking harshly to people helping in the kitchen. It was uncomfortable, upsetting, and completely unprofessional. Being Italian does not automatically make poorly prepared food "authentic." Authenticity comes from quality ingredients, proper technique, consistency, and respect for customers. In my experience, this restaurant delivered none of those things. The food quality, service, wait time, communication, and management were all unacceptable. I would never return and cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for genuine Italian food.

As we make our way into the restaurant, it was already clear that the staff were hustling. One is helping carry 3 bags of pastas and 4 boxes of pizzas out to a customer's car. Another holds the door for us with a welcoming smile, then immediately runs to the kitchen. And the host is hurrying back to greet us. It didn't feel understaffed, but it was definitely busy, yet they all had a great vibe. Also 10/10 server, the guy was funny, efficient, and sometimes theatrical. For appetisers, we got the Calamari and Burrata Caprese. They were both solid, with a shoutout to the burrata, great flavour and texture. My wife and I shared the Tagliatelle and Steak Risotto. The short ribs were truly melt in your mouth, easily twisted on the fork with the tagliatelle. Amazing sauce, heavily supported by the mirepoix. The skirt steak was a little harder to chew, not sure if it was the juxtaposition between the two dishes, or if it factually was that way. The risotto however was great! A strong mushroom flavour with some spinach sprinkled on. The garnishes made it a wonderful adventure to eat. You could tell most of the customers were regular, but on that note, if you are ever in the area, give it a shot!

I'm guessing since they're coming to a permanent closure, it only makes sense that the quality of the experience (food and service) had began to going down. We were seated immediately, so we were off to a good start. It took a bit of time for Daniel (yep! We got the same server from the last time) to come around and get our orders. It wasn't too bad since the wait gave us the opp to decide on apps and mains, so we got to put all our orders in at once. CALAMARI: Battered thin and crispy. Dash of lemon juice made it better. Quality? Yes. Quantity? Not so much. I thought it was pricey for the amount we got. PEPPERCORN POLPETTINE: Meatballs in cream sauce. Even with the whole peppercorns, the sauce was good. The meatballs, however, didn't taste or look homemade at all. (I recently made frozen meatball soup at home and the meatball's flavor was pretty much similar.) So.. meh... BRUSCHETTA ALLA CHECCA: This was the best app out of the three. Crostini was perfect and the toppings were all perfectly balanced. SPAGHETTI AI NERO DI SEPPIA: Looked great, but lacked flavor. Asked for fresh grated cheese and added black pepper which helped a little, but still missing something... Hubbers got the linguine pesca mare which he loved (he emptied his plate!) So I guess that says a lot. And I'm really glad he liked it, being his birthday and all. He also chose crème brûlée to finish off his birthday treat. (No, they didn't comp it - which is fine, and I don't expect them - or any business - to, even more since they are shutting down. I understand they need all the profit they can get.) Overall a little less stellar than the first visit. I'll admit I was a teenee bit disappointed since we had an amazing experience the first time. All the same, I'm still glad of the experience and wish them well on their future endeavors!

My friends and I were recommended this spot by another friend, and it certainly did not disappoint. We were able to try out their Dine LA menu, and everything about this experience wowed us all. From the moment we arrived, we were immediately greeted by the hostess, who went out of her way to move some reservations around to better seat our party (we had 3 people but were only able to book a reservation for 2). I really appreciated this gesture, as well as the friendly and attentive service we received throughout the evening. We were seated on their beautiful outdoor patio, though it seems like you can't go wrong with either indoor or outdoor seating. Now, onto the FOOD: Caesar Salad: 5/5 Damn, I really wish all Caesar Salads could taste like this. Fresh, crunchy romaine drizzled with a spicy Caesar dressing and topped with toasted breadcrumbs - simple, but done very well. I really liked how tangy the dressing was! Chicken Parm: 5/5 First of all, can we take a moment to appreciate the massive portion? The chicken cutlet was perfectly breaded and fried, and the crispy exterior was nicely contrasted by the velvety, decadent vodka sauce and generous layer of melted cheese. I couldn't finish it all and had to take some of it home, which ended up being a delicious meal the next day. Meyer Lemon Pie: 4/5 I love pie, I love lemons, and I love lemon pie done well. The tartness of the Meyer lemons really shone and cut through the sweetness to create a perfectly balanced dessert. The dollop of whipped cream on top definitely tasted like it was freshly whipped in-house. Although the whipped cream tasted a tad bit salty, I still enjoyed and devoured it all. I just wish the portion were a little bigger since it was so yummy! Parking: There is a small parking lot out front, though it seems to fill up quickly in the evenings/on the weekends. Thankfully, we were able to find street parking pretty easily. My friends and I all raved about our experience here, especially for the $45 Dine LA price tag. I can't wait to come back!

For all we know he could have been the Italian owner of the restaurant, and if that was the case, that made it even worse. Barely a greeting, no explanation of the specials, just a cheap plastic sleeve one would buy at Staples office supply thrown onto our table. He found our questions about the menu bothersome, and when I asked him about one item, he wrote it down as if I'd ordered it. Luckily we caught his error when I told him what I wanted for dinner and he said, "So you don't want the lasagna?" Um, no, I was just asking a question about the lasagna. We both ordered our meals along with the Heirloom Burrata appetizer. We asked if there was any bread with the appetizer, and he said no, so we asked for a bowl of bread to have with the burrata. It didn't show up, and we had to remind him. It finally arrived with our pasta. Oh well. My wife had ravioli stuffed with crab and lobster. She barely touched it and couldn't have been more disappointed. I told her to send it back, but she doesn't like confrontation. I had the cannelloni, and I have to steal a line I heard from another table: "This tastes like the stuffed shells I buy from Costco." It really did. I guess the pasta is homemade, but you sure couldn't tell from this dish. They came and picked up the dish without commenting on how little my wife had eaten. They asked if we wanted dessert, and, clearly expecting a no, plopped the bill down in front of me. We paid, yes we tipped, and immediately walked a few doors down to get my wife something to eat for dinner. We will never go back.

We were served by a very nice man, Josuan (maybe not the correct name spelling). He was attentive and polite. We ordered a bottle of Wine and a drink he brought them right over. We really enjoyed the delicious Cartoccio Di Pasta Al Frutti Di Mare a mixed seafood and Linguine wrapped in foil and baked was to die for, Meravigliosa. The Eggplant was equally as good. We did not know what to expect being a new restaurant now we know it was worth every penny.! Will be back, compliments to the bartender who helped us.

It was with no doubt, one of the best pizzas I have tried, the mozzarella cheese was really good. I also tried the Guaraná drink, which is a Brazilian drink, really good. After we were done, we spoke with the owner, chef Marcus and another employee who were very friendly and you can tell they care about their clients and give the best pizza and experience possible. Definitely coming back, I'll bring my family and more friends because we really loved the pizza and the customer service. I highly recommend this place!

I ordered the truffle mushroom pizza and it was absolutely phenomenal. The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside while still light and airy inside. The truffle flavor was rich without being overpowering, and the mushrooms were fresh and perfectly cooked. Every bite tasted balanced and authentic, like the kind of pizza you hope to find in a small Italian spot that truly cares about the craft. Then came the Nutella calzone, and that alone is worth the visit. Warm, perfectly baked dough with Nutella inside that melts just right. Sweet, indulgent, and honestly one of the best dessert calzones I have ever had. Also the best and most polite service, wonderful people. I have had a lot of pizza around Los Angeles, and this is easily one of the best I have tried. If you are in Redondo Beach and appreciate real quality pizza, this place is a must. Great flavors, great execution, and a spot I will definitely keep coming back to. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.
