This is an old style basic Italian dive. Nothing amazing but solid and familiar. Not too pricey and good service.

Linguini and Clams, Spaghetti Carbonara, Chicken Piccata Plate with Spaghetti Alfredo

Finally found an Italian restaurant that reminds me of my favorite place in New Jersey. I feel like East Coast Italian just hits different. Their carbonara is really a pink sauce but is my FAVORITE dish. We also got their clams in white sauce with linguine and the clams tastes very fresh and the brothy sauce was delicious! Their alfredo sauce was a huge hit with my kids and their chicken piccata was super yummy. I also order their calamari and it's really tasty as well. It is a little on the expensive side (of course I'm comparing it to the super cheap calamari at Quality Seafood lol) but the marinara they serve with it is great! Even if you order take out (I've actually only ever gotten take out), the noodles are the perfect texture and the food is PIPING HOT! So happy I discovered this place!

We had a very good meal of Shrimp Scampi and Carbonara with an order of cheesy garlic bread and split a chopped Italian salad. The service was great and the ambience is decent but nothing special.

Early New Years Eve, I ordered spaghetti and meatballs delivered. They answered the phone even on a busy night and let me know the meatballs are all beef. It arrived piping hot, loaded with delicious meatballs. The sauce is on the sweet side, just the way I like it. I wish they had included the utensils I requested and maybe a red pepper packet. All in all, a home run. UPDATE: Ordered again, and they delivered again. Just perfect. Great food, delivered piping hot.

Searching for a place to cater an event and was told about this place. Small restaurant in a strip mall next door to massage parlor. We ordered two meals and I also asked to taste the pasta marinara as an option to cater. We were served bread and an olive oil & herb dip. I ordered Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken and my friend ordered the Capellini Special. They were both good. Hers was excellent. The Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken was somewhat boring. It needed either spinach or basil or something to add color contrast. The pic shows it all. There was a lot of chicken, which was impressive. Fresh parmesan cheese would have been nice as well. We requested separate checks and had to remind the server and our orders were mixed up. Gulp!! We also got some wrong information on catering, which was unfortunate. I would definitely will return but will not be using them for my event. Ok, bye

I got a large Caesar salad and the beef lasagna. Both were really good. The salad was very fresh. The lasagna was balanced. Service was friendly and fast.

The food is absolutely the best. Loved the food, calamari and the bread. Worth the visit. Now we have a new place to enjoy

After dinner I was really craving for tiramisu today. Checked rating here at yelp - looks good! Ordered 2pc via uber eats - there were 2 tiny pieces, moreover horrible tasteless frozen pieces of something, cannot even call it tiramisu. Very disappointed this is a crime to sell, or give even for free anything like that! Never ever again

    Empenadas

Empenadas and pasta is delicious i love the Italian sausage aswell as the spicy beef, the rigatoni and Alfredo pasta is great !! The togo specials have very good deals i recommend

Good portion for a kids meal and the flavor was good as well not bland at all. Service was good, very attentive. The ambiance was very nice with dimmed lights and good music.

Pepperoni Pizza slize: overcooked and hard
    Chai Y.

Wanted to try a local restaurant and we really tried to like this joint since the people were nice but there are factors that made it hard to want to come back. 1. The to-go orders are cash only, which is kind of inconvenient for first time customers like myself and my partner. They charge an additional $1.50 for card transactions which is fine but they also upcharge the empanadas to $3.99 from $2.99 if you're paying card, which is no big deal but it would be better if it was put in the sign in the first place. 2. We also ordered sprite in our order and she asked us if we would want it now or with the order later as she was about to get the bottle of sprite, we told the person we'd like to get it with our order later and once we got our order it seems like they poured the small bottle of sprite into a smaller cup with a lot of ice instead of the plastic bottle originally, which is misleading and kind of disheartening. 3. All of my concerns would easily be trumped if the food we got was actually good but sadly it wasn't. The pizza was very crunchy but not a good kind of crunch- it was giving stale, reheated pizza crust. It was so hard that the crust is breaking when you fold it, it felt like we were eating cardboard boxes. And we waited 20 minutes for our order. The slices were kind of too small for the big box they came in, so it's also disheartening to open it. It's giving middle school cafeteria pizza. The empanadas were ok though, but the dough is kind of hard and crunchy. It I personally don't prefer empanadas like that. The meat inside is good but would be better if the bread around the meat is does not taste overcooked.

Somebody was celebrating graduations, there was birthdays there was a baseball team overall just a really busy restaurant. Nothing notable about the ambience overall just comfortable place for a very, just like family, friendly Restaurant vibe. I have the burrata caprese and I think it could use more balsamic I mean burrata is burrata so it was fantastic. The tiny tomatoes throw me off a little bit for but like in general everything was delicious.. My friend ordered the lasagna which I was a little bit envious of after I saw it. It's a huge portion and it's absolutely fantastic.. I had the night special, which is chicken piccata, which was overall very lovely buttery lemon and tangy could've used a little bit more pasta, and the broccoli was cooked really well in general lovely. We share the tiramisu for dessert and I really can't complain. I think it could've been a little bit more punchy when it came to the coffee in the rum, but it was still really good. And General service was great. They were really busy so it wasn't anything too frequently and the manager or the owner checked in on the tables and I'm happy that we went here..

UPDATE! We came…read moreback about a month later to celebrate Hubbers' birthday, but the experience wasn't the same. I'm guessing since they're coming to a permanent closure, it only makes sense that the quality of the experience (food and service) had began to going down. We were seated immediately, so we were off to a good start. It took a bit of time for Daniel (yep! We got the same server from the last time) to come around and get our orders. It wasn't too bad since the wait gave us the opp to decide on apps and mains, so we got to put all our orders in at once. CALAMARI: Battered thin and crispy. Dash of lemon juice made it better. Quality? Yes. Quantity? Not so much. I thought it was pricey for the amount we got. PEPPERCORN POLPETTINE: Meatballs in cream sauce. Even with the whole peppercorns, the sauce was good. The meatballs, however, didn't taste or look homemade at all. (I recently made frozen meatball soup at home and the meatball's flavor was pretty much similar.) So.. meh... BRUSCHETTA ALLA CHECCA: This was the best app out of the three. Crostini was perfect and the toppings were all perfectly balanced. SPAGHETTI AI NERO DI SEPPIA: Looked great, but lacked flavor. Asked for fresh grated cheese and added black pepper which helped a little, but still missing something... Hubbers got the linguine pesca mare which he loved (he emptied his plate!) So I guess that says a lot. And I'm really glad he liked it, being his birthday and all. He also chose crème brûlée to finish off his birthday treat. (No, they didn't comp it - which is fine, and I don't expect them - or any business - to, even more since they are shutting down. I understand they need all the profit they can get.) Overall a little less stellar than the first visit. I'll admit I was a teenee bit disappointed since we had an amazing experience the first time. All the same, I'm still glad of the experience and wish them well on their future endeavors!

It's a bit dim lighting, but comfortable seating and booths. This is also probably not a restaurant you bring your kids to. That said, we brought our kids to this restaurant since it was a family birthday celebration . Service: our waiter was attentive, but didn't give us much guidance or introduce himself to our table. I ended up asking him for his name and some guidance and recommendations. Maybe he's just used to a lot of regulars that know what they want to order already? They also took away some plates without asking, before we fully finished them, which I didn't love. Food: the food was pretty darn good! They were pretty flexible and were able to grill some asparagus upon our request. The pesto gnocchi was fantastic! I would say that having fresh cracked pepper on it would make it even better or at least the offering of that. The octopus I got was pretty good, but could have a little bit more flavoring. The margherita pizza was good for the kids and for the adults. Getting a side of truffle oil or olive oil was great for the crust. We got the charcuterie plate, but I wouldn't recommend it. It didn't really seem thought out and looked very minimal. Definitely not impressive. It did the job for my kids since my kids love deli meat and cheese. Because of the quality of the food and ambience, I would definitely come again!

The lights were flickering a bit, and it was slightly stuffy as well. The menu is designed beautifully; everything was designed to point to the food, pique interest. The Uni Truffle pasta was ok; couldn't make out either uni or truffle flavors, but it tasted great. It did leave a profound fishy aftertaste in my mouth though. From the one bite I had, I liked the Yuzu Peperoncino better; perfect balance of umami, tang, and spice. I remember appreciating the al dente noodles then, and I still appreciate it now. Fatto a Mano sells pasta and pizza that takes us right back to Italy. If we ever miss that country, then this is the only place we have to go to satisfy any nostalgia. Marco is such an amazing host. He makes everything from scratch and is up front with how long it'll take for him to make your food. We got there right when it opened and the place filled up quickly. But he still made time to ask for our names and check in on us frequently. You can tell the customers love him because so many people came in and talked to him like they had known him for years. We got the carbonara and Estiva. The carbonara was perfect. Just like the way they make it in Italy. Al dente with the sauce perfectly integrated with the noodles. Generous with the ingredients and a flavor explosion with every bite. The Estiva is a pizza with basil pesto, yellow tomato confit, and "fior di latte' mozzarella. All I'll say is that it was delicious and any one who likes pesto needs to try this. Now, why do I wish I left a bigger tip? The delicious food would be enough but it was Marco! He addressed us by name every time he passed by. The most memorable aspect was when we were getting up to leave. He loudly said if we could please wait 5 minutes so that he could give us gelato for free! He was making it fresh as well so his machine needed some time. It was delicious! We threw our trash away and started to walk out, but then he told us to wait so that he could give us gelato again! I told him he already gave some to us and then he said we needed more... and that he insisted because "it is like 1000 degrees outside!"
