Returned and got some old and some new flavors of mochi! As always, their mochi is fresh with the perfect bouncy, chewy consistency. This time, I thought the mochi shells were a bit too thick & wanted more filling. The prices are definitely expensive, making them a special occasion dessert. - truffle chocolate - 5/5 (my favorite) - tiramisu - 4/5, nails the flavor - durian - 3/5 the skin was a bit thick and flavor wasn't hitting as much this time, but normally I love this one - creme brulee - 3.5/5, classic vanilla cream filling, I didn't taste any caramelization - red bean - 3.5/5, classic, not artificial tasting, however doesn't stand out

With a new revamp, name change, and increased prices, Lomichi is still a popular stop inside Jusgo, for mochi lovers and ice cream connoisseurs. Gone are the cream puffs! The focus now is almost entirely on mochi. The mochi here is very lightly sweetened, which can be a good or bad thing depending on your preference. The texture is wonderfully soft and squishy, and the array of fillings should satisfy every taste, from fresh fruit to traditional sesame, sweet bean, and peanut, plus some interesting offerings like a Dubai chocolate mochi. Yes, they serve some amazing Asian inspired flavors of ice cream like salted egg yolk, salted plum, hojicha green tea, vegan mochi mango sticky rice, and Vietnamese coffee, but the fun twist is that you can wrap your ice cream in mochi and create a giant mochi ice cream, or you can mix in sizable chunks of mochi into your ice cream for free! It's a little on the pricey side, with two scoops costing $8.50, but it's a unique experience. The mochi does start to freeze if you don't eat it quickly enough, so I recommend trying to finish it off first. The hojicha green tea is especially great if you don't prefer very sweet ice cream, but I've enjoyed many of the other flavors as well. Overall a really nice spot. They offer a lot of different specials as well, such as the buy one get one half of mango sago drinks which I really enjoy. Seating is not really available except one teeny tiny table with two teeny tiny chairs, so be aware of that.

I've been eyeballing this place for weeks before and finally had the chance to stop by since I was in the area! Located inside the Jusgo supermarket, you'll find multiple food stations? Stalls? Definitely not hard to find since the store sticks out from how colorful and cute it is. Menu's are plastered by the register and there's plenty of asian flavor inspired mochi and ice cream options so I couldn't try it all unless I wanted a stomachache. The food: The mochi is so soft and chewy and not too sweet. The one's with fresh fruit I would rate 3.5/5-4/5 depending on the sweetness of the fruit (the mango was good but the strawberry was more tart so was not expecting that). The creme brulee one is definitely one I would get again in the future 5/5 would eat more! Final rating: 4.75/5 would love to try their other mochi flavors and their other menu options

I like all the variety of mochi and the unique flavors. Our favorites were the taro cream, Nutella and chocolate flavors. the fresh fruit ones were too hard for me. The only downside is it's pricey for one mochi $6 but buy five get one free. I also was a little sad that you can only eat them same day and they don't keep in the fridge to be enjoyed later.

Love their mochi! One of the best in town! Sooo many flavors to choose from! Friendly staff!

Very delicious mochi! I had the durian and yuzu cheesecake and durian is packed with real durian. The durian was my favorite. The mochi itself is very soft and done well. The yuzu was too tart for me. Shop is cute and small, fast service and it is popular as a small queue formed a few times. Would definitely return as these are worth the price.

Finally a mochi spot that tastes like the one in Hawaii! Best thing I've ate in Sugarland!

The mochi was very soft and chewy. Durian puree was soft, creamy, and sweet. Fresh Mango was thickly cut but a little tart. The Dubai Chocolate was crunchy from the crispy kadayif-halal marshmallow-pistachio butter mix that was encased in a thick Belgian dark chocolate shell wrapped in a thin layer of mochi, then coated in chocolate powder. The taste leaned more on the chocolate than the pistachio butter. The peanut-sesame-sugar mix is a loose filling that isn't too sweet. The sesame-peanut mix is a very wet fulling. They offer a "Buy 5 and get 1 free" mochi deal.

Wow the mochi here are so bomb, they're like $3-4 bucks a pop but totally worth it. The ones with fresh fruit always have the sweetest juiciest fruit, but my personal favorite is the Creme brûlée mochi, soooo good with the bits of the torched sugar in the cream. The mango pomelo cream mochi are also amazing. Highly recommend

omgggg. sooooooo good!! The mochi was super soft, pillowy, stretchy, and chewy. It felt perfect to me. My favorite one was the mango mochi and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. I prefer the fruit mochis over any of the ones that have a crunch in them like the pistachio one and chocolate one. The vanilla cream puff was also oh so good. Had a great amount of vanilla cream inside and the outside was nice a crispy. Service was fast, you kind of just point and choose.

Located in the food court of the Jusgo, Lomichi is a small store. Everything is super cute and they have a lot of options. They have a buy 5 get 1 free for mochi and cream puffs. I got 6 mochi. I really wanted to get the lychee ice cream but 6 mochi was already a lot of sweets. Fresh strawberry: classic, simple, great juicy and sweet strawberry, super soft mochi Golden kiwi: recommended by the staff, simple and easy Passionfruit lychee: passionfruit cream with lychee popping boba. Nice and fruity, a bit strange in flavor. Dubai chocolate: the chocolate shell hardened but worked well with the pistachio cream and kanafe. Can't really go wrong with Dubai chocolate, but this was also twice as much in cost compared to the others. Crunchy chocolate: they had run out when I got there but were making a fresh batch that they got out pretty quickly. The filling is super interesting, works well. Black sesame peanut: to be honest, didn't actually get to try this one because by the time I got to it, it had hardened and was spilling. But overall, what I did taste was smooth and not too cloying. Will need to be back to try their other options!

The mochi here is delicious, with a soft and chewy texture. The packaging is cute, and the employees are always very kind.

Right inside Jusgo to the right so pretty much a grab 'n' go kinda place, but their mochi is legit. Soft, perfect texture, not too sticky. Cream puffs are worth trying too. As for the mochi, any of the fruit ones. Really like the mango sago cream. The yuzu cheesecake is great too though the yuzu packs a punch. I didn't love the Dubai chocolate one. The only tip I'd give is you really wanna make sure to eat on the same day. Once you put it in the fridge the texture gets thrown off cause it's a pretty delicate balance. Even when you bring it to room temp. Definitely a fan now!
