I went for their Fish n Chips ($14) and added an additional piece of cod for a few more bucks. The price is really fair for the amount of food and quality you get. A couple of slices of lemon, tartar sauce, and malt vinegar also accompany the meal. The fish was flaky and soft, while maintaining its juiciness. I did feel the fish or fried batter could use a touch more seasoning to up the flavor a bit more. I did appreciate the delicate lightness of the fried batter. The thick, steak style fries, just like the fish, came out fresh and piping hot. A sprinkling of salt and black pepper covers the crunchy exterior of the fries. Simple but very delicious. I happened to stop by the food hall at Trade and noticed a new business! Parking is always crazy at Trade, so good luck. This business is replacing the Two Birds space. I'm not sure about their exact grand opening date, but they were soft open when I went last night (March 10th, 2022). They only had half the menu available, but I'm excited about their offerings! Like all the other businesses in the food hall, you order at the register and then go find seating in the shared common area, unless you're getting your food to go. Friendly service and my order was ready in 5-10 minutes. I got a fish po boy combo, which comes with fries and a drink. It was around $17 when I went. Sandwich was huge and delicious with lots of different flavors! Large fish filets, which was appreciated, but it's also kinda messy, as the fish is flaky and tends to break apart as you bite into the sandwich, so heads up.
