At that time the service requested was a full set and pedicure. I ended up paying $135+ for the services due to various factors (nail length, nail shape, etc.) The service requested today (January 15th) was a soak off and manicure with shellac. I made an appointment an hour prior, so that way I can secure my spot and notify the lady on what service I wanted ahead of time. Once I arrived, the lady was aware that I was the 11:30a appointment, however, was unclear on what services I needed. The quality of customer service was unprofessional. I asked for a soak off multiple times yet the lady continued to drill my nail bed, and started to use the tip of a fake nail to separate the colored powder from my nail bed until I snatched my hand from hers. I understand that a soak off is time consuming but her process was going to damage my nails. Once she finished removing the fake nail and powder, next was a manicure with shellac. She brought a glass bowl with marbles and water. When I asked the lady if I can have warmer water to soak my hands she claimed that I took to long to put my hands in and that's why it's cold. The water was extremely cold, there was no possible way that the water went from hot to cold that fast, and it was freezing outside! Overall, the vibe is very unprofessional and uncomfortable. As a customer, I noticed that the staff started to get overwhelmed when customers started pouring in. I honestly felt unappreciated since every other customer in their wanted full sets and i just wanted a simple manicure. There was no professional greeting (I.e, "Good morning, how are you? How can we help?"), or attentive listening. I repeated myself multiple times to get my point across. Never coming back! I am also very particular about my pedicure and the tech went to work on my feet, you here me! Pros. I am from Baltimore where we pay upwards of $200 for the designs this shop does. So needless to say, I'm happy with the prices. I was also seated quickly despite how packed it was. The technician and front desk person were pleasant and I got the results I wanted exactly how my picture looked. Cons. Children who are not receiving services should not be allowed. There was a girl there with her son rolling around in the chair bumping people. Kids are annoying, keep them home. 2. I know shops hate refilling other shop work but I'm paying money, don't make a big deal about it. 3. Shops in Houston are tiny compared to the amount of people they serve. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience for the first time at a nail salon. I had a wish pic and the expectations were not met. My biggest mistake was to leave in a hurry and not double check my nails. I only left in a hurry due to the fact that I had to go straight to the airport to leave town for my birthday. I had gotten the set done on 04/01/2021, same day I left town for my birthday trip. The nails didn't look good at all, after a few days they started to pop off and looked even worse. Emphasizing, the fact that I am not heavy handed. I spent the total of $125 on just my hands, which really saddens me. On top of the entire situation, the "manager" as I assume, was very rude, disrespectful, using inappropriate body language (throwing back her arm) and was not understanding... and she stated indirectly that it would be my responsibility because it had been 10 days, which was not the truth. I had my nails done the same day of my trip which was on 04/01/2021 and I went back to the nail salon unsatisfied on 04/08/2021, which was about 12h later, after I had arrived back in town from the trip. Every time I get a new set it lasts longer than a week. I could go with a new set for about a month. Which makes this situation unacceptable!!! I didn't go there for a refund, I went there to get them fixed. Before the "manager" got disrespectful, she stated that she would only fix the nails that were popping off. After she got disrespectful, I then decided to request to get them removed, and go along my day. I literally threw away $125 on nails for nothing. I hope others don't make the same mistake! When I arrived 8 minutes later, every single technician was busy with another patron. All of 'em. Unedited rap music was playing on a speaker, which I might have been ok with if it matched the DJ Khaled videos that we're playing on the tv. The pedicure was lackluster but I don't even expect to much I usually follow up and do it myself. I go in prior to my birthday and I was extremely disappointed. 1. I waited an extra 35 mins for a tech that did not execute my design and a nail popped off a week later. No one listened that I wanted to maintain the integrity of my natural nails that are severely damaged view pictures below. She clipped my nails down after I asked the young lady who removed them not to. They rushed me to pick a design. 2. I picked out the $25 pedicure they still found a way to charge me $40 Dec 6/7 they were off before Christmas due to breaking. And I was ignored on the request for a certain design. They expressed they didn't have the jelly style of gel but disregarded my whole vision I ended winging it cause I had already spent 3hrs there. 3. This was at first my go to place but I will not be returning I can't keep paying $145+ for basic nails they do great designs (sometimes) and that is not a risk I'm willing to take especially during this time. read more

My nails literally popped off no less than a week later. Obviously the shop supplies are Cheap products/supplies. My technician really tired to achieve what I wanted, yet it wasn't. I wanted long bubble gum pink and said they were out of stock of the color ... so I adjusted and got a different pink. No biggie. I like XL nails and I agreed to pay the $90 for the specific length. BUT I kept having to correct her shaping on my nails so obviously they got shorter. It was a solid color acrylics, you know I wasn't trying to be extra but GIRL this was not no $90 length!! I asked them if they could take off the difference in length and they ABSOLUTELY REFUSED. They said it was my fingers After that I realized they needed my money more than I did and left. Well let's start with I came in for a mani and pedi had an appointment at 2 and wasn't seated till about 2:40 after this he began on my nails and at first they looked fine but once I took a closer look the nail polish was patchy and I didn't get what I asked for as well as the finished product was all bumpy I went and told the lady at the front who redid it for me and it was a little bit better the design is still off as they left some designs different from finger to finger but I was there till almost 7 because they had to re do them as for my pedi that was fine but to go through all that and still get charged $70 for a mani they messed up is ridiculous. Don't come here! I stopped going for over a year due to overcharging from different staff. I went back yesterday just to see if it had changed and it has not. Danny over charged me for my toes, claiming it was because I got pink. Then tried to charge me $25 extra for my design (I declined the design). Then when I tried to tip, Danny said I could only chose one of the preset options (10,15,20 percent). but another lady said that was not true and I could add a custom tip but I had already paid at this point, he literally hurried and hit submit right when she said it to force me to pay it. I've waited some time to write this review because I really wanted to be fair. I was happy with the finished product but how I was unacceptable, and that's putting it mildly. I paid for a pedicure spa service, not the most expensive one, but maybe the one right under that. I didn't have an appointment so I waited about 30 minutes until a chair was ready. I made it through the entire pedicure process and as soon as the lady was finished with my polish, the manager comes over asks me to get up, to move back to the waiting area. I expressed to the manager that I my polish had not finish drying and I would wait here, in my seat until it had. She continue to usher me over to the waiting area and then proceeded to grab my personal items. Now I've gotten many pedicures in my day, but this was my first time experiencing some thing like this. It seemed as if the customer experience didn't matter at all and the only concern of this manager was to continue herding customers in. When I finish drying, sitting in the waiting area, I decided to make my way to the register to complete my payment. After going over this whole scenario in my mind multiple times, I ultimately decided that I would not let this horrible experience detract from my spa person's tip. Since the manager was at the register I decided to let her know that I didn't appreciate having to move, and in the future if I would ever visit their location again I would not move until my service was complete. The manager began to get irate, and raise her voice aggressively in what I think was Vietnamese. It was such an uncomfortable situation and I've never ever been treated like that before. Moral of the story, If we continue to patronize places that treat us in this manner they will continue to treat us this way. They won't be getting anymore business from me. read more

Worst dip manicure I have EVER had. Found them on Yelp, saw they were under new management, figured they'd do a superb job, false. The salon is run down and they charge the same $40 for dip that the nice salons charge. My nail tech talked to every family/friend visitor they had. She would say sorry, then continue talking and talking..the entire time. She was so busy talking she'd be filing my actual fingers and not my nails...no joke. When she was buffing after applying my dip, she literally used the electric file on every cuticle. Not an exaggeration. Now she needed to clean up my cuticles since she shredded them, but it hurts because you just made them all sensitive. I had to pull my skin away from nails because she had shut them together with the dip and was already putting the top coat. She said she was going to put a gel top coat so they could be more shiny, awesome! She put so much gel it is piled on the sides of my nail which means they are going to lift easily. I can't stand the fact that I have to come home and shape and clean up my nails after I just paid someone to do exactly that. I like my nails short, I don't ask for a special shape, I just ask for them to look nice. Shape sucks and they look like crap. 2 days later and all the clear top coat is coming off and my cuticles are tearing galore. read more

I really liked this place in terms of customer service, they had two people working on my shellac manicure and pedicure. I liked that they showed me the prices of the services instead of just automatically doing the services and charging me for them. I've had bad experiences at other nails salons because they thought that since I was Vietnamese I was obligated to pay more or get overcharged. The two ladies who worked on my hands and feet did a pretty good job and they made sure to put extra time and detail to my nails which I really liked! I got a shellac mani/pedi done for $60 plus tip which I don't mind paying if the quality of the work is good. However, they don't have a huge selection of polishes to choose from so I just opted for a white color. Overall I would return again. read more
