Me and my family have been frequent guests at this place, dining there and it was always a good experience, but it all changed this morning when I decided to place a pickup order. 2 orders of crab cakes benedicts. ZERO crab - not even a trace! Only bread crumbs on both orders! Called and asked for a manager - he is not on duty until weekend! How can anyone with a conscience make those "crab cakes" knowingly without crab meat and give the food to us - and believe me when I tell you - normally their crab cakes are to die for with lump crab meat and not much else! So this isn't a case of "oh well their crab cakes suck"...this was a deliberate act by whoever made them that way! Total rip-off and will be my last visit to this place! Can no longer trust the cook and $14.25 times 2 can buy a whole lot of bread crumbs!!! Shame on whoever prepared this meal! read more

The food was delicious but we felt a little crowded and the staff either had a see through mask, or was partially wearing a mask or was wearing it on their chin so we didn't feel as safe as we have felt at other restaurants that have put more effort into safety measures. Maybe if there were plexiglass dividers on the booths and the tables were more spread apart and there was a reduced limit to the occupancy for now it would help but when it started getting really busy, it was way too crowded! This was a cute little place my family and I went for my aunts birthday on a Monday morning. I know they can't control it, but the parking was horrendous, thankfully I was able to catch someone leaving and took their spot. Our first waitress was nice, she took our drink and food orders and brought out the drinks. After this, she never came to check on us again. We tried flagging her down to ask for waters but she never brought them. However they were busy and I can acknowledge that. Then, a different person brought out our food and when we asked for waters, he immediately got them to us. I hope the tip we left goes to both of them The food was good and I would definitely visit again. It may have just been an off day, but I felt that the steak in my chicken fried steak was very chewy. My egg was cooked perfectly which really surprised me. My only main complaint was there wasn't a lot of flavor. I don't know what is going on with this place... we are regular customers, and the past two times have been way below average. Last time it took forever to get service, and this time the service was lousy. The waitress took our order, brought us our food, and that was it. Never checked on us, when she brought us the check, we asked for a to go box, and it took forever to get it. She passed us 3 times. I never had my tea not be refilled, but this time it was ignored. The chili cheeseburger was not good at all. It was tasteless. When it was time to pay, the man at the register saw my wife coming, and when she was about to the counter, he walked away. The food here is absolutely delish and so fresh. My husband and I have had the burgers and they were so juicy that we had to ask for more napkins! We ate every bite. The French fries tasted homemade and super tasty. If you're in for the breakfast, Highly recommend the Olympic Scramber. Not only is it really delicious but it's got ingredients in it that are really healthy. The chicken fried steak is so big that you can eat the leftovers the next day. The owner/Manager is super nice and so accommodating. The service staff is always very friendly and quick to get your order and refill your drinks.
