Whenever you're visiting historic concrete Washington you have to take note of the Lonestar restaurant you walk in and it's immediately greeting you with all sorts of wonderful artwork and historical pieces from the town's history. Most enjoyable thing though is the delicious breakfast with the healthy size portions that can come your way for as little as $7.99 I had to enjoy the Gene Autry with scrambled eggs, link sausage, and 2 slices of healthy wheat toast. Love the service in the coffee but the one thing that I wanted to try but can't because of my weight loss goal... The delicious pies the chocolate cream pie is my new nemesis LOL!!

SUPER GOOD!!! Our family came here after a great day adventuring the North Cascades, the perfect burger to end the day!! The reviews do not give Justice to this country styled, ma & pa place. We were helped right away by kind service and our food came in a good amount of time for a party of 6. Highly recommend, we can't wait to come back!!!

You get big portions when you order. Great tasting food but too many options. They need to dial down the choices abit.

It's like the Simpsons or Family guy. But dramatic. he called me handsome multiple times and said it was p him off. "you could look in a girls direction..." "look at this guy..." etc. Riley loves to sing elvis at karaoke night. his elvis impression is about what you would expect. A 20 something named jackson asked if he could hug me and said i look Incredibly Swedish. EXCELLENT SERViCE and FOOD. THiS iS A DESTiNATiON SPOT!…read moreHands down, best Indian food i have ever had. And i have had Indian food from many restaurants and temples all over the USA and even Hawai'i. This food at Cascade is made with such good intention, you can taste it! Delightful! Pranayumyum for your tumtum! [i just made that up, copyright!] Truly tho. The food made by Chef Bobbi is like prasadam, only better! He makes everything from scratch. He caters to any dietary restriction or request. Most of my friends are meat and dairy eaters, and those items here are fabulous, too. However: i am a strict vegetarian [vegan], gluten and dairy free. Chef Bobbi is attentive to specialty requirements and wishes. He can basically make anything on the menu into a vegetarian dish, et cetera. FAVES: Korma [cashew cream dish], and The Pakura [vegetable fritter, breaded with garbanzo bean flour]. Chef Bobbi will surprise us sometimes with special samples of items. For instance, while i was breaking my fast from Lent, he served me a delightful vegan dal [not even on the menu]. They have brought out wonderful, colorful desserts that my husband can eat [dairy]. This Indian restaurant is a destination. It is absolutely beautiful, at the gateway to the Upper Cascades. There is an exquisite back patio. They have a rad bar section that opens for Summertime. Bartender Rodju will return!? Seriously, everybody has to try this place, and yall will come back! Postscript: if you have dietary restrictions, be sure to ASk! Also, if you are unsure about communication, use your translator in Hindi. Chef Bobbi also knows poquito Español.

Indian cuisine was a nice treat to see when we searched Yelp for dinner options in the area - other restaurant options are more or less the same. They have incredible food, thus they are busy. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside near the patio and it's a nice view of the mountains and trees. The staff are friendly, but because it was during a busy holiday weekend dinner rush, it took a bit for our food. It's definitely worth the wait! We ordered vegetable pakoras for an appetizer that comes with two yummy dipping sauces. I had the saag lamb, and the server does ask for your spice level preference. The mango lassi pairs perfectly with rich and spicy food, it's a creamy, lightly sweet yogurt-style drink. It's a lot of food for a great price, especially considering it's a touristy area near the park. It's a great place to eat and refill up from a long day of hiking or exploring.

We ordered burgers and I asked for my fries 5x crispy. The cook adhered to my request and honestly exceeded my expectations. The burgers were stellar. Well assembled, not overly greasy, patties slightly charred at the edges and they didn't fall apart. Reasonably priced as well. Exactly what we were looking for, exceeding expectations for a small town, local restaurant. Service and food were so good we returned on 5/09. This time we ordered a pizza, burger and onion rings. The pizza dough was pretty undercooked on the bottom. The crust was done well however. I will give the benefit of the doubt and attribute it to a fluke as the service remained amazing and the rest of the food was outstanding. The burger maintained its rating from the previous days meal. The onion rings were fantastic. Perfectly fried and crispy/crunchy. I was able to break them in half/bite off a piece and the breading remained stuck to the onion. Also, if you're a Bigfoot enthusiast, this is your kind of place (I'm a Bigfoot enthusiast). Overall a fantastic experience. Shoutout to Bre for being a wonderful server. To the cook, keep doing what you're doing because that was food was delightful. 10/10 recommend.

I absolutely love the outdoor seating area as it is nestled among the pine trees and there are lots of seating options and some games you can play while waiting for your food. Beautiful surroundings. What most people come here for are the yummy large burgers and fries and shakes, etc. Although in their menu the offer sandwiches, wraps and salads too. Everyone I saw while there had burgers on their trays. The appetizers are also very yummy. We shared the garlic cheese curds to start and they were very tasty and served hot. Among our group of 5 people we tried a variety of the burger options including Jalapeno Burger, Grilled Onion Burger. I substituted the sweet tempura brussels sprouts for fries and another did onion rings. The rest of us had the delicious fries. The burgers were very big and difficult to finish for several of us so we took a lot of it home. While here we also ordered the special "Doggy Burger" for our dog. This is a basic cooked hamburger which we chopped up for the dog. And I also ordered a slice of the white chocolate raspberry dessert that the worker said was fresh out of the oven. That had to come home for a later day as we were stuffed. Great tasting food here! I'll be back.
