Great vibes to catch up with your friends and have a drink and snack. I got their elote pizza, which was true to the flavor and was abundant with corn, cheese, and spicy sauce. This place is just super casual, in the best way. Keep up on their Instagram to see what events they are hosting at either of their locations.

Beer Lab in Long Beach is such a cool, laid-back spot with seriously amazing beer. Their selection is always rotating, creative, and super fresh, you can tell they put a lot of thought and passion into every brew. Whether you like something crisp and light or bold and hoppy, they've got a flavor that hits the spot. They have happy hour menu & drinks. On Sunday night they have Karaoke. The place has a chill vibe, plenty of space to relax, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help you pick the perfect pour. It's the kind of spot where you can hang out with friends, try something new, and feel right at home. If you're in Long Beach and love great beer, Beer Lab is absolutely worth the stop. Unique beers, good energy, and an overall awesome experience. Highly recommend!

Not going to lie, we had fun tonight. Even though it was a quick stop for a nightcap that ended up being karaoke night. Stopped by after dinner only for a drink. Well, this place happened to have karaoke as well. At first i thought it was a bar but it's also somewhat of a restaurant as well. Right when you walk in there's the bar vibe with the round table. A few pinball machine and video game. But outside patio was a dining area. Don't know the exact restaurant but did notice loads of pizza. Review is based on the experience and drinks. I feel like it was mainly beer even though there's a full bar. They have a good selection of beer on tap and some mixed cocktails on the special. I asked if they could make a certain drink but wasn't able to. Full bar but couldn't, oh well. Anyways, the beer on tap was quite nice. A good collections of them as well as cider. But the fun part, the karaoke. Honestly, it seemed like regulars that were up and singing. The crowd seemed to all know each other. But a fun night was had watching and enjoying the singers. Crowd was good which is nice. Plus, it's pet friendly as there were a few dogs enjoying the night as well. Drink wise, it was priced well. The specialty cocktails, no too bad either. There's also a refrigerator with beer to go. Vibe is more laidback and chill. Fun crowd, both family's and couples having fun. Service was great and friendly bartender.

Food: 5/5 Enjoyed the pizza, pepperoni was really good. Nice portion, crispy, hot, enough salt. The speciality pizza was perfectly sweeten. Beer options made it the perfect combo. Service: 5/5 Server was really nice, very quick and extremely attentive. New spot for me, but love the local new spots popping up in LB! Ambiance: 5/5 Extremely clean with great space and seating. Nicely lit and has a lot of LB and character.

Tuesday, June 24, 2025 Always a pleasure to see & spend time with family. *It's my first time at this spot Long Beach Beer Lab on Anaheim Blvd. (There are 2 locations in Long Beach). It was a pretty happening spot for a Tuesday. It was packed with people by 7pm. Music was playing by a DJ with Keno game for the customers. Food is delicious, they have mixed drinks, plenty of beer options. There is a small back patio, game boards, arcade games for the kids & adults. Not many workers at the bar, there was 1 person taking orders. My nephew had to wait a while to get his drinks and I too was waiting just to get a fork and knife. Other than that I would had 5 stars instead of 4 stars.

Finishing 9 holes at Recreation Park ; took three hours we said nope we're done. Let's go get some pizza and beer. Could be possibly the best pizza and beer place in the history of Long Beach maybe the history of California Josh and Angela were amazing. The sourdough crust on the margarita pizza was as good as any pizza you'll ever find and the Caesars salad was amazing. But Barr, none, this was the best of Hefeweizen Beetr you will find anywhere; but you have to understand the lack of places that have it to understand that I am such a snob when it comes to this beer most people don't even offer it and this was as good as you will find anywhere took 2 4 packs home with US. The wife loved it more than I did.!! I hear they have another place on Willow. Iamazing. Do yourself a favor visit this Long Beach beer lab soon.

The outdoor space is small but great for kids. You order at the bar and then the food is brought to you. Pizzas were delicious and there are plenty of beer options for everyone. There was live music when we were there which was loud but a nice ambiance.

Great atmosphere with a wide selection of brew, the Beer Lab also offers good eating too, but the food menu is more limited. I especially like the sourdough pizza crust. It's toasted just right. The server was pretty chill, and we almost had the whole place to ourselves on a Wednesday night this summer. Parking was no issue because they have their own dedicated lot.

Met up here with former coworkers - and had a great time. I arrived early after work, just before six. Parking didn't seem to be an issue. Found a spot in back in the small private lot. Saw bunch of street parking too. Free but just don't know what the enforcement hours are. Check the signs. Walk in. Order at the bar. Find a seat. Or switch that up if it's busy so you have a table. Or just sit at the bar. Not quite table service unless you have a tab open. Otherwise, you place your order at the bar. On that note, service was great. Everyone was attentive, friendly and nice. Even as business started picking up, the staff was on it. Ordered a pizza, half Pepperoni, half Margherita. Nice char. Decent amount of toppings. Also a salad. See pics. Food was good. Didn't pair well with the beers I had ordered but that's my fault. It's what I wanted and I was happy on both counts. This place has changed businesses several times over the years. Had a good time on this visit and hope this place makes it for the long haul. But if not, I guess I can always head over to the OG location.

My orders are, Main: 1. 15 pcs Chicken Wings (5) Dynamite Wings (5) Smokin Spice Wings (5) Jalapeño Peppers Wings Cook fresh upon ordering to give that satisfaction taste. What can I say? Expectations met and satisfied. Their freshly cook when ordered to deliver that crispy flavorful wings are out of this world. I definitely recommend this location due to their outstanding customer service experience. Very clean and sanitized. Their parking lot is limited, so best to come during non rush hour. This place is unique in their own way, from design and presentation, it's pretty nice. If you're in the area, stop by and say hi. Enjoy it here or on the go. Share your experience. P.s. I was deciding on lunch with the fam and my aunt recommended SoCal Wings. After browsing their…read moremenu, I was sold and placed a phone order. Our order consisted of four SoCal fries (which are basically buffalo fries from The Buffalo Spot with a drizzle of cheese and ranch), a 10-piece nugget, a small fry, a large order of mozzarella sticks, a Thai tea, and a few sides of sauces. To speak bluntly, the experience turned sour for me as soon as I started placing my phone order. While I was ordering sauces, I was rudely cut off by the man working: "Yeah, yeah, anything else?" I felt like I was being rushed off the phone, even after mentioning it was my first time ordering and kindly asking questions about their sauces. The customer service here just overall gave me the ick. Anyways, onto the food. I was super excited for my SoCal fries. They have a variety of sauces to choose from, and I opted for the spicy BBQ. On first impression I was surprised with the generous portions. I ordered a small Socal fries that looked more like a medium. As soon as I dug into my meal, I was met with immediate disappointment; the popcorn chicken on my SoCal fries was extremely stale. It tasted as if they served us three-day-old fried chicken that had been left sitting out. My siblings and mom also agreed the chicken was super hard. I ended up just eating some of the fries and threw the rest away. Before tossing it, I tried drenching the fries in their Cajun sauce (which is over $1 per sauce, btw), and even though I really wanted to like it, it had a weird aftertaste. On top of that, I just couldn't get past how hard the chicken was. The Thai tea, fries, and mozzarella sticks were just decent. I'd also like to mention that when I was placing my order over the phone, the man said my total was $67 and some change. When I paid in person, the total somehow jumped to $83.69. I assumed that included the Cajun sauces I ordered over the phone, but it actually didn't. I ended up paying a second transaction for the sauces, which was around $8. Had I possibly been charged for the side of attitude I was also served? To reiterate: the service here sucks. Overall, I won't be back as the quality doesn't match prices. You'd think that a joint that specializes in fried chicken and wings would serve fresh chicken but on the contrary, my chicken was inedible, gross, and clearly old. I love supporting local businesses, but I refuse to support a place that exhibits rude customer service and serves subpar frozen food that I could throw together at home. I don't recommend this spot as there are much better establishments in the area.

The staff are soooooooo nice. They take the time to ask her preferences and encourage me to be adventurous like giving me a side of the spicy sauce that I was initially hesitant to try. (the spicy sauce is definitely on the more spicy side, but just shy of covering up all other flavor) Ordering ahead on the phone is pretty easy since they don't have a super extensive menu. If you are in a hurry and you are ordering wings, all ahead. The wings are made to order and they come out so crispy and so juicy (but hot!). Some wings you get for the combo of the sauce and the chicken, these ones I find myself ordering the crispy original because I get to savor the crunchy with the beautiful umami of the chicken and it is not at all bland. If you order when you arrive, the kimbap is ready in about 5 minutes, but the chicken take maybe another 5-10 mins. Last time I went I also got kimchi fried rice (literally didn't know it was on the menu because I have tunnel vision on the wings). It's a smaller portion than some, but the flavor was so big (rich flavor and spicier than most I've tried). It was the perfect dish for being sated but not overstuffed. I'm definitely working that into the rotation of my order (wings plus one other thing ) in the future!

Here you actually have an option to sit at some tables. Decided to snack a little before packing the rest home. The fish is freshly made to order. Seasoned very well, tartar sauce definitely complimented it. The fries were cooked fresh and decently filled to the brim of the bag. The chicken was big let down. The wing was the first piece grabbed out the bag and the temperature wasn't there. No juice, just luke warm dried meat. The second piece I grabbed was the drumstick and again temperature was off. No juice or no steam. It didn't feel like these pieces were under any heat lamps. Felt left out as each piece eaten didn't really have any residual heat. 3rd piece I grabbed was the thigh which I mistook for a breast because it was bigger in size. After positioning in eat mode I decided to pack the rest home instead because the chicken wasn't hot enough. Funny thing is after 1 hour drive my chicken breast piece had some retained heat. Little did I realize the stellar fries kept the breast warm. Shame on this place ... even KFC is enjoyable once order is secured. Their hot sauce packed in cups were good Hopefully they work on the their chicken game because it's comical that their fish outshined the chicken.

He was pleasant and assisted me making my choice in the chicken combo since there are so many combo options. I settled on the 3 piece fried chicken, the typical roll, fries and choice of 3 pieces. There was a picture of the fried rice and the meat options are chicken or shrimp fried rice. Why so we ask business' if their food taste good? I asked, is the shrimp fried rice good, he said yes. i asked were the shrimp large or small. he said, they are large and you get 8. i have a favorite spot to get my shrimp fried rice and i know i get more than 8 and the price is cheaper. but, hey! it was my first visit so i ordered it. Since the food is prepared fresh it was about a 15 minute wait. Rumpo gave me the number so i could call ahead to order next time. When my order was done everything smelled great. He even through in a lemon pepper drumette to sample and get me hooked :-). There is no where to dine there but, i was taking it home anyway. When i got home the chicken was still piping hot and seasoned well. The fries were hot too. They use Hawaiian rolls, i like that!! i give the chicken combo a 10/10. The shrimp fried rice was sadly disappointing. there was alot of rice. it was dry and lightly seasoned if at all. i had shrimp at home that i sauteed and added to the rice. My usual spot gives the same amount of rice and i have shrimp in just about every bite! the price is a couple of dollars less too. the shrimp fried rice is a 5/10. would i go back, yes because the chicken was good and Rumpo was very charismatic. I got the 40 Pack with Saigon Street, Korean Kick, Peking and Cali Rub. Sauce coverage was good, but the wings themselves tasted overcooked. I can forgive to-go wings losing some crisp, but the meat itself was tough, chewy and dry. That's the part you can't sauce your way out of. Saigon Street was my favorite flavor. It had the Vietnamese fish sauce wing profile I wanted: savory, a little sweet and solid overall. I would've liked more tang, but I'd order the flavor again. The problem was that almost half of that batch were tiny overcooked flats with barely any chicken on them. At that point, they're basically saucing bones. Korean Kick was solid: sweet with a little heat, pretty much what I expected. Classic thick Yangnyeom profile without blazing spice. Cali Rub reminded me of a BBQ-style seasoning, but there wasn't enough rub on mine. Smoky, sweet and it works well. I actually enjoyed this one a lot, it just needed more rub. Bomb flavor, light execution. Peking was my least favorite. It was edible enough, but it tasted more like char siu than Peking. Deep red, thick, sweet-savory and missing the plum-style tang I expected. Basically char siu that never saw the fire. If they called it char siu, I'd probably have fewer complaints. Calling it "sweet and sour" just made the missing tang stand out more. The seasoned fries were rough. They're that battered, seasoned dredge-style fry, similar to Rally's or Checkers, so they're already on the oily side by design. Enjoyable for a few bites and that's about it. The garlic noodles had a really good chewy texture, but they were dry as hell and the garlic was missing in action. I mostly tasted parmesan and parsley more than anything. Great chew, no garlic, no moisture. For dipping sauces, the blue cheese was okay. The honey mustard leaned more savory, almost like Chick-fil-A's Honey Roasted BBQ packet, instead of bright, sweet and tangy. Not really what I want from honey mustard. Veggies were fine: thick cut and crisp. Pickup was fine, but the location is annoying if you're just trying to grab food and go. You have to park in the structure and pull a ticket. First 90 mins free if you wanna walk around or dine in. Fire Wings has good flavor ideas, but this order had too many execution issues. I'd still consider trying it again because some flavors worked, but the chicken needs to meet the sauces halfway.
