Purchasing a car at any dealership can be annoying as you spend pretty much the whole day there negotiating the price and going back and forth on packages etc. Aside from that, we love our cars! This review is mainly for the auto repair shop. Anytime something comes up with our cars, we come here to get it fixed and the service is spectacular. The workers here are honest and professional. From any job that is little or big, they always get the job done in a timely manner. If you don't have a car to drive while your car is in the shop, they either loan you a car or they can drive you themselves to wherever you need to go. We definitely feel like our money is well spent on our cars as we always feel well taken care of when something comes up with our cars. read more

A few weeks ago, I was driving on the freeway and I hear a loud bang.  It seems that the panoramic glass roof of my X5 shattered.  Luckily, the cover was closed so for the time being no glass entered the vehicle.  I took the car into the nearest dealership where I had previously had service, Long Beach BMW.   The car underwent a major repair and replacement of the sunroof so it took about 2 weeks.  After completion of the repairs I was contacted and I went in to pick up the car.  They had not even cleaned the car!   Considering the type of damage and repairs, it's surprising that they would not even wash the exterior or at a minimum​ vacuum the interior. They first wanted me to call and schedule an appointment to come in and have it cleaned. Given the extent of damage and repairs done to the car, I did not feel safe taking the car home and placing my 10 month old in it. After talking to several people, I was finally able to convince them to do at least a basic clean, albeit a very rushed job.  Considering that the panoramic sunroof spontaneously burst, this is an authorized BMW dealership, and the extent of the repairs- I'm disappointed with my experience at Long Beach BMW. read more

I totally agree with some of the reviews here that they are crooks. Customer service is great, but their practices have lost my trust. I've been coming here since I got my first bimmer back in 2017, but for my last car I actually went to Beverly Hills BMW, because I have grown suspicious on their practices: - It needs a battery because it's old: the battery lasted for 5 years with no issue, wanted me to replace after 3 years - Oil Change: it was making a strange noise and came in for them to check it out and do the oil service earlier than expected (3,000mi earlier). They didn't figure out what it was, but charged me for the oil service. I noticed on the cluster that it read next service was in 4,000mi, strange, because after a new oil change it's good for another 9,000mi... which means, they probably didn't; change it, and just charged me for it. - It needs new tires: I went to BMW Crevier, they told me they were fine for next service (9,000mi). - Flat tires: I buy tires and call it coincidence, as soon as I get them replaced here, they go "flat" again, after a month or so, TWICE (occasions)! I don't know if they're patching them instead of replacing them, or what - call it coincidence, bad luck, whatever. This has happened 2 times. - Third time is the charm: I got the tire warranty at Beverly Hills, came in today to get the flat tire replaced there in LB, and as soon as I'm driving off, the sensor goes off informing me that it's low on air, as in 30mins after I drove off. New tires have that shiny look, this one does not, maybe it was stashed away for awhile and dusty? This happened today, which made me to inform people of their practices. These incidences over the years, have lost my trust, which is why I decided not to get my new car here, and also why I'm telling my buddies and my family NOT to go there any more. Pay attention to the repairs and suggestions, and question them to the T, and seek outside suggestions. I understand that dealerships need to make money, but there's a difference between honest work and flat out cheating people. read more

Their service department is the worst, the service advisors act like it's a hassle when you come in for repairs. No friendliness or problem solving whatsoever. This sticks with 4 different visits to them and 3 different advisors. I will gladly drive an hour away to goto Crevier BMW where they actually act like they want to do their job and offer different solutions where they can help. If you would like to be profile as a customer in order for you to be able to test drive a M3/M4 then this is the place for you. Came here after making an appointment over the phone to test drive the M3/M4, mind you this is after they sent out numerous emails advertising this one time special event. Below is the exact wordings of the email. Anyway, long story short, showed up and was told, oh we're not doing test drive for M3/M4 at all, meanwhile I see other older, more affluent looking people test driving a M4 with non-number dealer plate outside. Perhaps I look too young and too poor for them to think I can ever afford a BMW, let alone M3/M4, but come on, at least put a little effort into your profiling as I can clearly see there's a demo car outside that others are testing driving. On top of that your email clearly stated come in and test drive the M3/M4 and this is even confirmed when I called couple of days ahead. Of course the person that helped me tried to BS me by saying the email was not specific enough about the M3/M4 and BMW is not letting them demo the car. Well, lucky for you I am pretty active on all major BMW boards and will be more than happy to share this experience with the community. I am sure there are other dealers in SoCal that will be more willing to treat their potential customer fairly without resorting to class profiling. We purchased a cpo x3 in decemeber. At the time of keys handover, we were told that the spare keys were not there and they had to order it. That was fine with me. We had drove from Northern Cali to long beach to just pick the vehicle. Hence we told them that they had to ship the spare key. After picking the vehicle we noticed that there were no floor mats in the vehicle. All 5 were missing. All cpo we had test driven earlier had mats in them. Its so weird that this one didnt. We called our sales person to bring it to his notice, and he told that no cpo's come with that. After repeatedly telling him that all the other cpo's we had test driven had mats in them. Now that we were back in Northern Cali, we were told that if we could go back to their store, they would give us the mats from a car. I told them that i cant come myself, and my wife may come to pick it up. I was told then that she would have to come in the purchased X3 to pick the mats. Seriously? We have purchased a bunch of cpo's before, and never had an issue like this. If the concerned management is reading this, and is willing to make it up, i will be more than happy to edit my feedback. Long Beach BMW only received 1 star, because I could not give them a ZERO. The service tech Brian White was very helpful. That's all....their mechanics do not know what they are doing. I brought my car in for service for a specific noise. Miraculously, the mechanic could not find the concern and did not hear the noise...(they had my car for 4+ days). I even asked for them to check for this specific concern; the mechanic communicated with the service tech that the specific concern I asked to be checked is not recommended...it was another issue. So, I asked for clarification and confirmation; and was told no it was something else. Trusting the experts, I approved the work. $2300 worth of work!!! I get my car back, and in less than 10 mins after I get my car back....I hear the noise and it's worse. Frustration and disappointment were my feelings. So after asking additional questions regarding the same concern I originally brought my car in to be serviced; I was offer to bring it back to get the issue I had originally asked for them to fix in the first place. No thank you!!!! I do not trust your mechanics or Long Beach BMW's dubious and nefarious practices. Long Beach BMW mechanics are making the service techs look really bad! I was shopping online for a 3 series and was surprised the best deals were at the BMW dealership closest to my house so I headed out to Long Beach BMW. I was greeted by Luis Gutierrez who walked me through their inventory and showed me all the 3 series in the range I was looking for and found me the perfect 328i. Luis was very professional and courteous. Never did I feel pressured like at so many other dealerships I've purchased cars at in the past. Another thing I specially appreciated about Luis is that he did not try to bs me. I've already owned a 3 series BMW and had done extensive research on the car I was looking to buy but Luis totally impressed me with his level of knowledge about the cars he sells. When it came time to speak with the finance team I was in fear until Enrique greeted me and the same level of courtesy continued. Enrique was very thorough in explaining every document I signed and instead of getting stuck with things I did not want I walked out of financing with a few perks! Wow! I'm sure to be a return customer now. The BMW team continued their great service by explaining in detail the functions of my new car before I drove out. They also extended this same level of excellence a few days later when my wife drove the car there for a perma plate coating. She was given a loaner 3 series that fun to have for a day. I received several follow up calls from the team members I dealt with wanting to ensure everything was going great with the car and service I received. Most places I've dealt with before avoid you after the sale. Long story short, my BMW got totaled due to a horrible driver in LA not looking left before he turned right (typical) & I only had a specific amount of time my insurance would cover my rental so I needed a new car fast. She was kind enough to walk me and my brother around the lot and explain the different kind of features each car has. I actually had two bmw 328i in mind before I came to the dealership. I showed her two pictures and she gladly helped. However, there was one that was hidden (across the street) at the other bmw mini dealership. Roseanna drove us to the other side and we were searching every parking level in the garage for the bmw. It definitely took awhile but she was very helpful and understanding. Great service. We had a mechnical appointment and were able to drive right into the service area. The receptionist left alot to be desired because she neither greeted me nor told me there was coffee. I know from going to other BMW dealerships that they offer their customers free coffee, hot chocolate etc. I didn'tfeel like anything anyway so I sat down. i went and sat down and waited. Well, I cannot think of anything good when I remember this dealer. where should I begin? When we arrived there were only couple of customers there. So they were not busy at all. We made online appointment and a sales person called Crystal called us and invited us in but she never appeared. We tested the car and decided to buy it. They took our information and told us they will be back in 5 MINUTES. We waited for 3 HOURS. Then we texted Crystal about the situation but no answer. I guess she already closed the deal $$$ so she doesn't need us anymore. We hardly find someone to ask about it and they told us 5 MIN. Here we go, we wait another 1 HOUR. We texted Crystal and told her that we are leaving because we were so hungry. And of course no answer. We left for lunch and they called us later. You could just tell us the truth so we could at least go eat, don't wait there to starve. We came back and waited another hour. Finally the car arrived. There was no spare key, the gas tank was a little over quarter. They told is that they will call us within a day or two for the second key. Im still trying to reach someone to get a spare key after days but still not able reach anyone. This place doesn't deserve to be in business and not recommending to anyone. This review is for the Encore department. It doesn't reflect the sales or service department of the dealership (which in my opinion is 5 star). This is my second car from the dealership. My purchase was made in October 2016. The "Encore" dept called early December and I accepted their offer but I told them I have to do it before I go to work. They scheduled me for 645am. I got there on time and the actual service guy told me that the encore people doesn't get in till 9am. Geez, why schedule me for something that doesn't start till 9am. I left and felt my time was wasted. They called back and me, intrigued about this "Encore" thing went in at 9am. This Encore thing is a joke. The lady who ran Encore was at her desk at 9am but she didn't approach me till 945am. Absolutely nothing was done and I was out in 5 minutes. This is a joke. Bmw corporate should shut this Encore program down and it is a waste of time. Or unless they come up with a definitive list of questions or set of rules - I felt I wasted my time not once but tw ... June82019 I am writing this review not to disparage the dealership because I really do like the dealership. I've been buying my bmw's there since 2005 (when they were at the mini dealership at the corner). I am only writing that maybe this would remind my service advisor to at least plug in my car to charge - it's a plug in hybrid and will only take 2 hours to charge at a cost of $ 2.00. I brought my car in for a recall...I told him three times and even told him at the last time, maybe write it on the service ticket , but he said, I'll take care of it. Picked up the car and of course it wasn't charged... well, please next time , if you don't want to write it down - do take care of it. Ben and the staff made our car buying experience amazing and treated my mother-in-law like they would treat their own mother. Unfortunately, they made a mistake and after 3 months and countless phone calls, they promised to fix their error and then took no action to correct it. They spelled her name wrong on the registration and title documents, creating a bit of a hassle for my 70-something mother-in-law. We called Ben. We emailed Ben. We called the woman who handles titles. We called customer service. Between the two of us, we called or emailed at least 7 times and we're told it would be corrected but them stopped getting responses. Finally, my mother-in-law had AAA fix the paperwork. I'm astounded and disappointed in the service and as a result, I will no longer be singing the praises of Long Beach BMW. read more

Very disappointed in the service after purchasing a vehicle at Long Beach BMW. I was promised several things that didn't happen. I noticed the cargo cover was broken and the sales rep said he could swap it out. Once I signed all the paperwork, he informed me that they would have to order one because they didn't have any on the lot (despite the fact there were several i3s that I saw). I never heard back and no one has followed up with me. Also, despite repeated requests, calls and emails, they mailed my plates to the wrong address. I gave very specific instructions during the purchase, called and emailed to remind them, and still they did not follow my instructions. So now my plates are in Northern California and the car and I are in SoCal. Finally-- if you buy from here, bring a calculator. They initially increased the sales tax by $500 and also inflated the registration fee. I don't think it was a coincidence that the overcharge was the amount they offered to reduce the price. They did fix it, but only because I wouldn't accept those numbers. I love the car but will never do business here again. read more
