It was hot, fresh and the toppings were plentiful. The crust was well cooked. I recently ordered pizza from a place on Naples, with much higher reviews, and it was raw in the center. So we arrived 10 minutes ago at 9:50 pm (restraunt closes at 11 pm). The female server saw us , and sneered at us and picked up a pair of menus while rolling her eyes at us when I asked for a table for 2. I said "we can leave and go somewhere else " and she said "oh that wasn't for you " and continued to look frustrated while leading us to any random table. I asked her again if it's okay for us to eat here and she said "yeah I was just checking with them" and looked at kitchen . And did not say anything else after that . The boys shared a pitcher of beer. Sarah and I decided to stick with water since we both dont drink beer. When our waitress brought our pizza out, we were all impressed on how big it was. Great random pick. It was One of those "hey, what's the name of that place on Broadway we drove by the other day ...?" Long Beach Pizza Co. is a sports bar/restaurant; a local version of BJ's. Lunch specials? - yup, chalk board specials on the sidewalk by the front door - always a good sign! We sat down at a table that had a great view of multiple flat panel TVs all tuned to sports. My friend and I looked over the menu and decided it would be good to order one of the lunch special - med 2 topping pizza with 2 drinkes for $11.99. Man what a deal, but it gets better. Since my friend was a vegetarian and me, I like my pies with pepperoni, we asked the waitress if we could have 1/2 the pizza with pineapples and 1/2 with pepperoni. Now most places would count that as 2 toppings, not here, not Long Beach Pizza Co.! We were told we could have two different toppings on each half of the pie - that's customer service! My half of the pizza was pepperoni with sun dried tomatos - I'm old school - and it was great. The outside of the entire pie was crispy brown with plenty of hot gooey melted cheese and large pepperoni buttons. The inside of the crust was hot and doughy, just the way I liked it. The attentive and friendly waitress along with the good food makes Long Beach Pizza Co. a great place for lunch. I'll definitely add this to the list. Next time? This is a cute little spot with a fun vibe. I got a meatball sub and fried zucchini. It was generous portions and super tasty. I took it to go and the roll really held it's crunch on the way home. .., had a really really late breakfast here the other day @ around 5pm. I was starving, just got off work, & fought traffic. All I could think about was a pepperoni pizza from LB Pizza Co. It my was buddy Mario's bday that day, so a pizza along w/ a pitcher sounded about right. Unfortunately I didn't get my craved pepperoni pizza, so we had gone w/ their deluxe pizza instead per the birthday boy. Our toppings included bell peppers, sun dried tomatos, garlic, sausage, olives, mushrooms, & I forgot what else haha. It was a damn good pizza though & we all loved it. 1. Why I chose this restaraunt: I was sitting inside the Library Coffee House next door when I suddenly realized how hungry I was. I sat down in my chair for awhile trying to figure out a place within walking distance that I could get something that will satiate my appetite without burning a hole in my wallet. Quality of customer service: I walked inside, expecting to go up to a counter for my order (I usually go to local fast food restaurants if I'm hungry). Instead, I was surprised that this place has waiter service. I tensed up and was nervous, since I try to avoid human interaction. However, the waitress that helped me out (Lena) greeted me warmly, immediately understood my personality type, and made some accommodations to make me feel comfortable. I started ordering an extra large mozzarella pizza, but realized that I preferred to have a medium pizza instead. Lena modified my order without rolling her eyes or making an exasperated sigh. I sensed that I could trust Lena and we started having a conversation together. 3. Atmosphere: I usually put my guard up in restaurants because... you can't "relax" in a restaurant. However, the patrons and some of the employees were huddled together speaking in hushed tones. I was curious about what was going on, and was drawn into their conversation. Everybody let me into the conversation and... let's just say that for the entire time I was there, everybody got along. It didn't matter what background we came from... everybody got along and whenever someone would leave, everybody would say goodbye. 4. Quality of food: I ordered a medium mozzarella pizza with two toppings, pepperoni and chicken pieces. I expected that my portions for the toppings would be inadequate, as usual whenever I would order pizza. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE TODAY! 6/15/24 LITERALLY RIGHT NOW! We came in around 9 pm. we are regulars, so we know what we want off top. I didn't get the name of the new employee, but she has semi long black hair, acne & and nose piercing. Another young lady was assisting short black hair, I have nothing bad or negative to say about her. Before she got off her shift, she made sure to ask if anything else was needed before heading out. This is the worst I've seen this business & service. You can literally tell the girl was high of some substance. We needed refills my partner raised/ waved to get her attention she acted oblivious. Then I looked back, made eye contact & still nothing. She started strong in the beginning because obviously we didn't need anything. After that, it just went downhill. She was prioritizing her phone & music choice more than the customers. Literally, no one was a priority to her. When she finally was making her rounds, I told her personally I would be addressing her service, and she showed little to no interest or care. It's pretty typical for her age. I have to say I've been a long time supporter of Long Beach Pizza company. The last pizza I ordered took an hour to get here and it was cold. I just ordered a pizza to try them again. They said they had two drivers. They weren't busy and I should see my pizza in 30 min.. I was 10 minutes away from it being another hour. I called them, canceled my order and told them I would not order from them again. I feel that they must have multiple deliveries before they can deliver a pizza. Umm..yum? I have eaten a lot of pizza but something about this pizza is just delicious to me. I think its the bread. Either way it's tasty. My family each has their favorite but ultimately we always come back for the pizza. The lady who takes our order, so sweet, she has been great. Our 2 year old grand daughter loves pinnaple and they have been generous to us on our orders. The delivery person is really nice and funny. How does this place not have 5 stars? This was my first time ordering from them (we used Eat24) and wow! Just found my new favorite place in LB! We were pretty hungry so we got 2 plates of ravioli, mozzarella sticks, 2 calzones, fries, and garlic cheese bread. We had no idea what we were in for. First off, the calzones were HUGE! We ended up having enough food to eat for 3 days! The prices were more than fair. The ravioli was bomb AF, the mozzarella sticks were great, everything was great!!! The portions are very generous. I live down the street from this place and after coming in recently I am a little disappointed in myself that I don't come here more often. For $25 we got two mugs of beer, two salads and a small pizza which is about the size of a Tombstone pizza. All of which was very good. They offer a thin crust pizza which is cooked to perfection and they have a good beer selection. We ordered a turkey burger with fries, a small cheese pizza, and a large soda. The soda had dirt in it... (see picture). Yuck! A few months ago, I ordered a pesto pizza and requested for chicken. When I received my pizza, there was no chicken but chicken had been charged. Called back right away and they said to keep the pizza, they'd give us credit on the pizza for next order. Today, I called back and spoke to a manager couldn't find our name for credit and she said they said when things like that happened, it's handled differently and since it'd been too long, she would only give me credit for the chicken.
