We were first timers tonight at the Melbourne location. Our server Selena was so friendly and helpful. I had the Mahi sandwich no bun with a side of beans and rice - it was phenomenal! My husband had the fried clam strip dinner with a side of cole slaw. Both were delicious. The slaw was dressed perfectly not soggy! He also had a hot dog because he wanted to fry it and was not disappointed! Our daughter had a hot dog w/ fries and was so excited that she was able to choose an icecream from the freezer. Loved the whole vibe inside next time we will sit outside. Everyone agreed it will be our new go to place for dinner! Being still new (ish) to town Longdoggers is now at the top of our list! I use to order from here every week. The beach bum meal with key lime chicken was amazing! Now they raised the prize an extra $6 dollars for the key lime chicken. So ridiculous. I'll never pay $16 for chicken and rice. I don't recommend this place anymore read more

Probably Brevard County's best attempt at a tiki bar environment that falls woefully short of the mark. It is a chain, strike one. It is nowhere near a beach or the water, strike two. No live music... Seriously, strike three and yer out! The food isn't terrible, but it won't knock your socks off either, heads up, there is this thing called seasoning... investigate that. They do have Florida Lager for a good price so there is a redeeming quality (if you can get one cold enough). Beyond that, it sits at the nexus of three miserable cities in an otherwise fantastic state to live in. You will meet people who have wasted their whole lives there refusing to go more than five miles from home. You cant smoke at the outside bar, the sound system is tinny and in desperate need of an upgrade, (decent volume is not a crime), you have to ask for game sound on NFL Sundays. Finally, if you are sitting at the outside bar, light up a cig... thats the only way you will get the attention of the LAZY ASS bartenders who cant be otherwise bothered on a weekend afternoon. Sure it is OK for a bartender to chat with a pal but not at the expense of other patrons, 11 minutes to get recognized? Now keep in mind that this place is at the far western end of Palm Bay and West Melbourne so your expectations should be kept at a minimum. read more

Don't use the online order service for this restaurant. Both times I've ordered food here for pick up I've arrived on time only to be told that my food is about 20 minutes away from being ready. The time estimation in which they give you (as well as the texts) are not accurate. Save yourself the frustration if you're just trying to pick up and go. read more

It pains me so bad to do this. I have been going to all of the long doggers locations for many years but ever since the pandemic the service and quality at all of them has jumped off a cliff, with my experience tonight being the worst I've ever had there. The chicken wings they had back in the day were big and cooked perfectly and sauced just right. Now they're tiny and over half of my order of wings looked like they had been cut in half in a slicer and one of them looked like it had a beak (was actually just two pieces of bone sticking out). Someone I was with ordered chicken tenders that came out dark dark dark brown and were clearly refried several times and when they told the waitress they weren't fresh and would like new ones the waitress laughed and said "we don't refry them here" as if the teenage waitress knows more about refried chicken than a 65 year old woman. I understand good help has become very hard to find and chicken prices have jumped through the roof in the last few years and we're probably lucky ld's even had them but I hate to see a place I used to go weekly only become remarkable for its snarky waitresses. All locations have gone downhill but the one by efsc may be the worst one. read more

We had to be in Melbourne for a almost 2 weeks, so its was nice to find a place that was comfortable and affordable; we liked it so much we went back 4 times. The first time we stopped in, they said they were changing their burgers to a "crush" style, more traditionally known as a "smash" type burger. We were thrilled and both got one. I had the Hawaiian style burger which included a grilled slice of pineapple; very tasty and very substantial; I couldn't finish mine, but my husband was happy to finish it after having his more traditionally topped burger. Another trip in and I had a hot dog which was charred up nicely and also very big. We've also tried their boneless wings and the fish and chips. The fish is lightly breaded, crispy and not greasy at all; if you want a heavily beer breaded fish, this isn't that, but you might want to give it a try anyhow. Another thing to mention, is the brewed for them red beer (Red Hatteras), it's very good and very easy to drink and it is perfect for drinking on the patio at Long Doggers. The service has also been excellent on each of our visits , we will definitely return here on our subsequent trips to the area! read more

For what long doggers is, it does a great job at it. Very laid back, good prices, great beer selection, and food was enjoyable. Having been to this place a couple times my favorites are the wings, $12 craft beer pitchers, and burgers. Despite its name I have yet to try one of their dogs (not exactly up my alley but I'm sure they're good). Food comes out quick and beer is cold. Very laid back and staff is friendly. read more

My new favorite restaurant in town ! Oh my gosh - the Ahi Poke bowl has to be the most amazing Ahi tuna I have ever had . It is so incredibly fresh & they don't skimp on the fish like most places do . I always leave feeling completely satisfied & the value is great too .
