Let me start the manager, Maria. She is fantastic very kind and awesome hostess. Found the restaurant have a warm inviting feel very plain. It's still nice and clean. Has lots of delicate items. Should definitely check the places out and not just for the wonderful bagels. However, for sandwiches here, and their breakfast items. The place is only open till 2 PM in the afternoon. It's worth the time to stop for breakfast and lunch. so I had the macaroni salad average about a five out of 10 also had an everything bagel extra to go which I have in the morning for breakfast. Order the locks and bagel with everything on it. It does not disappoint. Nine out of 10, Mario really was helpful. She took my food to the table for me delivered. It also got my drink for me. I can't speak anything but positive towards this place. Atmosphere was good six out of 10 cleanliness nine out of 10. Restrooms need some maintenance but still six out of 10. The closest you can get around here to NYC breakfast sandwiches. The bagels are great, the Kaiser roll is authentic to us. The flavored cream Cheeses are fantastic. My favorite is the scallion for savory and the walnut raisin for sweet. Will have to try their other sandwiches for lunch some day! read more

Super friendly service, great sandwiches and all very affordable! I had the Lake Norman which is basically a Ruben with coleslaw instead of sauerkraut. Absolutely wonderful! This place definitely feels like a New York deli counter. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating in a really nice shopping center. I wish they had a meatball sub because I know they would kill it! I don't know why this place gets such bad reviews. I really enjoyed my bagel with egg and avocado, and their prices were unbeatable.

I've frequented this place many times and really love the freshness and quality of the food. I enjoyed the sandwich I ordered today. It's called the "Davidson" and it was piled high with: turkey, ham, swiss and slaw on rye bread. The sandwich was so filling I only ate half. I made this a combo and tried the baked potato salad. This was flavorful and filled with chunks of potato and it was creamy and had just the right amount of mayo for my liking. This is always consistent when I go here and the staff is nice and friendly. read more

Sandwiches are ok but their bagels are always stale. They ask if you want it toasted and even when I say no they toast it. I think to cover the staleness. Same with the Davidson location so idk if it's the whole chain. I'm from NY and those are not NY bagels. They are also expensive IMO. read more

absolutely horrible. got home, and opened our sandwiches....looks like they had been ran over by a semi because the bagel was so flat. i have lived in NY quite some time, and never had a bagel like this. i got two sausage, egg and cheese bagel sandwiches (both flat and SO chewy). it had the texture of an old shoe. the blueberry bagel didn't even taste like blueberry. it was like cardboard. you need to take NY off your sign. that is a disgrace. read more

Lots of New Yorkers patronize this shop. Who knew this was in Mooresville? Friendly guy that took my order had good convo too. I ordered the Lox bagel and the lettuce was fresh and crisp. The price of a 2egg bacon cheese for $10 is absolutely insane On its own merit for such a poor attemp at copying A BEC (bacon egg and cheese) from NY. Your menu price shows shows $7 and some change which is a Decent price if done right, compared to NY which charges similar but includes 2 eggs automatically literally every deli you go to. Noone makes makes a single egg sandwich in NY. The rolls you attempt to pass off as real NY rolls are stale and a poor replica. Publix, HT and even Food Lion have better rolls than what you are using. A Poorly Constructed Bacon Egg and Cheese on a roll with a small black coffe shouldn't be $13! I understand that prices are up on a lot of items nowadays everywhere but that doesn't give you a right to rip people off. Everything Costs more in NY. Taxes, rent, wages, housing, labor even food cost And noone charges $13 for a BEC SPK and a small coffee! I've lived in NY my entire life and moved here 5 years ago. I was in NY last week for business and ordered the same thing from a random deli, paid 30% less and got a much better product. Having "The Original NY" anything on your establishment is a an embarrassment to all REAL New Yorkers. I will never come to you again. Service was awesome. We had a big order and they were patient, and accommodating to us. We ordered a lot of stuff, but I enjoyed the egg everything bagel, it was soft, warm, and delightful. The scallion cream cheese is definitely homemade, it's requires a pallet who definitely LOVES onions. The lox cream cheese was also very good! Easy to walk with salmon bagel experience! Warning though, they're quite generous with the cream cheese, maybe get it on the side if you don't like a lot. (You'd be crazy though) Their salads and potato kinishes shouldn't be skipped either! Killer egg salad. Enough room for family or meeting with a colleague, great ambience and do-it-yourself coffee bar. Enjoyable for lunch, and breakfast, and definitely would for dinner. read more

First time customer and I ordered the bagel with lox. I asked for it toasted. It was not toasted and instead of lox on the bagel, I received a bagel with tiny pieces of lox mixed into an insane amount of cream cheese. If you don't have lox, don't sell it. You can't just cut it into tiny pieces and sprinkle it amongst the cream cheese. I would venture to say this wasn't even a true NY bagel. Stopped by today and didn't really enjoy any of the three items I got: on my sandwich the bacon was overcooked, eggs were crispy, and I think the cheese was American (definitely not standard for a breakfast bagel). I bought what I thought was a brownie but it was.. sour? My wife and I couldn't place it but thought maybe the milk had gone bad and they still used it. Coffee was fine but not very strong. Two stars over one because they were nice, service was quick, and it wasn't TOO expensive ($14 for the three above items). I'm going to argue with a few of the other reviewers here... I grew up on Long Island, but it's been 20 years since I moved away. This was the best egg sandwich I've had ever since leaving in 2001. I kept it simple... 2 eggs over medium, sausage and cheese, on a toasted plain bagel. I don't yet know how the eggs would have been fried if I hadn't specified "over medium," but the end result left me dreaming of going back VERY soon. SO good! They had the best hazelnut coffee I've had in years, and the baked goods all looked dynamite! I jumped on a chocolate chip muffin before noticing the beautiful crumb buns. The first time we had carry-out the ham-and-swiss croissant was fresh and delicious. Today, they were out of croissants, so we had ham-and-swiss on a bagle. It seems they were out of competent sandwich makers also ... The service was the loser: Lettuce was rotted, with decaying black middle. Instead of spreading mayonnaise on the bagle, it was squirted in a blob between the lettuce and the meat. Try biting down on that ... Unfortunately, their service is not consistent, so I'm not going back to waste time, gas, and money just to subsidize someone else's uninspired, apathetic, on-the-job training. As mentioned by others, the bagels are flat small and dry. On top of that, they also burnt my bagel so I was eating charred bread mixed with charred cheese. The egg was about 1 millimeter thin. My friend got the lox bagel and it was the worst bagel of his life too. The cream cheese was warm and melty and the fish was totally on only one side of bagel. Cream cheese also very salty. They are Ny bagel but put lettuce on lox. The prices they charge are insane for the size. The worst part was the frozen "choc chip coffee" drink. It had a weird terrible flavor but at the same time was too icy. I had to throw it away. Neither of us could stomach it. I ordered the egg salad on toast and was pleasantly surprised. As you can see from the pic, I could have made two sandwiches with the amount of egg salad piled on my sandwich. The egg salad was good, not too blended up like most places. My only complaint but this is just my personal preference, is more Mayo. Ordered 2 bagels, both toasted, one regular cream cheese, the other flavored cream cheese. Paid right away, stood around for 10 minutes (they were busy). Got my stuff....both were 100% cold and untoasted. Plain cream cheese bagel was okay because they evidently keep the plain flavor near the work station. The ball of flavored cream cheese on the other bagel was taken directly from the refrigerated case and double arm pressed down, sandwiched inside the unheated bagel. It was virtually inedible. I'm not asking you to heat up the cream cheese to room temp, but at least heat the bagels to help make the bite be softer, even if you're busy (945am weekday). I try my best to give my business to local non chain shops but if Einstein Bagels and Bruegers can get it right...why can't you guys? read more

I called in a take-out order. I am not ready to eat inside of a restaurant just yet which is why I am concerned about the fact that NO ONE had a mask on inside of this place! Whether I agree with it or not, I do understand that the people inside eating will not have a face mask on but not the lady at the register or the guys in the back preparing the food!
