First of all, what restaurant closes their lobby at 8pm? Took my family out of the car for an employee to tell us "I know it's 7:53pm but our lobby is closed" WAS NOT EVEN 8!!! It took 45 minutes to get my food even though I ordered ahead on the app, I was informed upon arrival that they were out of an item that I ordered, even though I was 30 minutes after the time scheduled for pick up, my order was not ready, a person making the food was not wearing a hairnet over all of his hair (back was covered but long hair in front was hanging free), part of my order was left out and had to return for it, interior dining was closed so everything had to go through the drive-through, workers were working very slowly. Give me 3 months and I can double the sales. 4 months, maybe triple. First thing I noticed is that they need to keep the ding area clean. Although I see reviews of unfriendly service, the lady who took my order was nice. She may have been the manager. If they did cook to order, the food would taste amazing. The fish although pre-fried was still pretty good. I actually like LJS fish. The Coleslaw tasted fresh and was also good. Surprisingly, since I've never liked the hush puppies before, I found it to be better than other LJS locations I've been. Sadly the fries were cold and weren't fresh. The cod--avoid it. Stick to the regular fish. The cod is the size of 2 chicken nuggets. Tiny and not worth the money. In addition, it was cold, hard and chewy. Another day and it would be fish jerky. Wasted my entire lunch break and still no food. There were 2 cars in front of me and it took over 50 minutes and I still wasn't to the window. Had to do a 8 point turn just to off road it out of line to make it to work. I have only been to 1 slower drive through and that's because they got robbed and I had to wait for cops. read more

Fries were cold. We asked for fresher fries and they weren't any better. Hush puppies were greasy. Service was not friendly. Employees were more worried about their smoke breaks than providing good service or preparing good food. Definitely not a good stop even if you're starved. We threw most of our food away. read more

My family and I ordered a 12 piece chicken plank, 8 pieces of fish, 2 Green Beans and 12 Hushpuppies. However, to our diappointment, our order got messed up. We only recieved one container of Green Beans and no Hushpuppies. In addition, the Green Beans we did recieve were ice cold, covered with ice, and looked as if they were never even cooked. I went through drive through and got the chicken basket. The chicken was room temperature and chewy. The fries and hush puppies were cold. The meal was not edible. Unfortunately, I had gotten all the way home and didn't want to have to drive back to the restaurant. I did try to call them but no one answered. I've been sitting in the drive through for at least 25 minutes. The food will probably suck. I wonder if I can update this after I get home and am thoroughly disappointed. Came here with my mom the other day and it was really good. She got a coney & I got 2 fish & 3 chicken from the Long John Silvers side. The service was friendly and the service was fast. There were a few things that we pointed out that could have been better. The shrimp sauce and the tartar sauce could have been filled up. It looked to be a slow day when we were there so there wasn't any reason the couldn't have been refilled. Just my opinion. The tables and chairs also could have been cleaned up as well. Most, if not all of the tables and chairs in there were dirty. Other then the table and chairs not being all that clean the food tasted great! read more

I visited on 4/13/20 through drive thru. They have a special until 4/19 for 4.99 fish or chicken meals. I got one of both. The fish and chicken were excellent. I've had problems with too much grease from this Long Johns but not this time. The sides and hush puppies were great. Thank you Long Johns--it was great and your staff is super. read more

The Long John Silvers in Leavenworth Kansas is terrible, tables had not been cleaned, counter where condiments are was very dirty, several napkins on floor along with Food that had been dropped on floor, area where mugs and trays are returned had ad least 10 dirty mugs. There was no other customers so there is no reason for this, this is the second time we have eat there with these same issues. We Will Not be eating there again, read more

I have been extremely disappointed in this franchise and their quality of food. I worked here here as a crew chief/ assistant manager when it saw better days. This place taught me my own work ethics especially concerning quality and process improvements. It is sad to see what it has become while watching the franchise be ok w poor quality. Tonight my husband and I decided to have long John silvers. He loves their shrimp and I love their fish and chicken. The shrimp was dried out. I received fresh chicken but the oil needs changing. The chicken came to the table looking and tasting like burnt oil and batter was dark. Either the oil needs changing or they decried the chicken. I only give this a two star rating bc the cashier and manager were polite. Quality of food sadly was horrible and so I cannot go there. I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. Ordered a family meal for carry out. It's supposed to come with fries, a pint of coleslaw, hush puppies and 8 fish. We definitely should have checked the bag before leaving - the fries were completely missing and the coleslaw was only HALF full. The fish was overlooked (dry) and to top it off, we asked for A LOT of tarter sauce and only got 4 packets with 8 pieces of fish! Seriously?
