We've only dined here once, as it is out of our local town, but it was very tasty. This is the nearest LJS's restaurant to us. The restaurant was clean, the staff was polite and efficient and best of all the food was served hot & delicious. I still prefer the LJS Chicken Strips above many others and their Fish is always hot & tasty. Highly pleasing to the pallet. Need to improve customer service. Ordered and waited 15 min on order and then was given the wrong order........... ordered chicken planks and was given fish instead. Was trying to tell service person needed tartar sauce for my husband, she walked past husband 3 times ignored him.......... BAD WAY TO DO BUSINESS. Do better! read more

Went back today to give it another try. Went inside this time - had an email that gave me a free meal after my last disaster of an order. I got a fish sandwich, fries and a drink last time. So I thought I would do the same. Last time I got a tartar sauce sandwich with a tiny piece of fish. This time the sandwich was great. Cooked ferret and good amount of tartar and pickles. The last time the fries were perfect. This time they tasted old and stale, could not eat them and threw them away. Was not given a drink and did not want to ask for it. The female (manager they said) seemed phased off at the world and seemed mad she had to give me a free meal. The email I received was from Lenord well and one from corporate. Terrible food! The size of their tiny fish is disturbing. Its so small it can fit in the palm of my hand and not overlap. Its SO THIN it resembles a potato chip! Nasty waffle fries!! I used to live their fries! Long John Silvers ysed to be my favorite & i was so happy when they started building a new one in Sweetwater. But ive had a terrible experience here starting with RUDE cashiers to such skimpy portions im left hungry after eating my $18.59 meal! Unacceptable! read more

What the hell is wrong with these people. Mobile order and go to drive thru and get told you have to come inside because it isn't ready. Since they rebuilt this location we haven't had a bad visit. The dining room is clean and bright. The food is consistently good and our order is right. We always dine in because the trip back home would probably make everything soggy and gross. They take care of us and the service is quick. Prices are higher like everything and everywhere else but it's reasonable. read more

Disappointed in their food. Greasy the self-serve line for the beverages, condiments, etc. Was dirty dust on top of the machines. The floor was slick like when they mopped it all they did is spread the grease out. It's obviously they do not use a good degreaser or soap and have a wet vac to pick up all that in grease. If I could pick less than 1 star I would!! Me and my family were traveling and stopped at this location. The WORST experience I've ever had at a long johns silvers!!! Our sweet tea taste like rotten potatoes, French fries floppy and cold. Chicken finger had something disgusting inside. The inside looked like an umbilical cord! I'm so disgusted!! Never in my life have I been in a dirtier fast food restaurant. The food was below sub par, and the drink machine was terrible. We went in planning to get Root Beer floats, but we were afraid to drink from their glasses. This was so disappointing as we were so excited to see an A&W. It was terrible. The staff was kind, but the restaurant had just opened so there was no excuse for everything to be so dirty. Here's to hoping we don't end up with food poisoning. read more

Filthy and the worst service ever, and after a 30 minute wait the food was over cooked and cold

The absolute worst fish, chicken and hush puppies. All overcooked and dry. Overcharged me for the meal to boot. Avoid this rat hole!

A&W has gray meat as hamburgers patties. It was quite disappointing. Drove there from Lenoir City so not all that far but way too far for the quality of meal. read more

I'm only putting one star because it makes you. Me and my family saw this restaurant and thought it was going to revive all of our childhood memories of hush puppies and root beer floats. We were shocked and disappointed with our visit to this place. First off, our root beer float was flat, then our fries were floppy and soggy, and this.. well don't read if you have a weak stomach. My mother LITERALLY threw up out of our truck door because she bit into a chicken tender that was undercooked and slimey. We will never be back, and i don't recommend stopping here. read more

We ate at A&W. Service was okay. Building looked good. Not nasty inside. They messed up our order. Nothing big but they added lettuce and tomato when I asked for it to be held. The kicker came when the red headed girl who was working the counter took our dessert order. We asked for one freeze with to be made with diet A&W and the other one to be made with regular. She started the order (put the root beer in the cups) and then passed it off to another person after stopping to take someone else's order. After asking which one was diet after they were made, both girls paused, clearly unsure of the answer. At this point, he red headed girl stated that it was "the one on that side." Thankfully I was able to taste the difference between the two because she did not identify the correct one as diet. For anyone else, this may not be a big issue, but as someone with medical conditions, this was a concerning mess up. read more
