Among other issues, these guys are happy to make you promises they never intend to keep just to shut you up and move you along. If you dare to be straightforward and ask them what happened to the promise when they don't deliver, they will jump all over you and heighten the situation to an argument where all their goons come out of the woodwork to argue you! Apparently when you've been around for a while you don't care how you treat any customers and that's a huge part of why reviews should be written. They are undoubtedly the all time champions of arrogance. I've seen and heard about poor business practices happening down there to several people aside from myself and it's seems like they're strangely against policy to just keep their word about following through with insurance claim issues. It's painfully obvious who they actually work for and who they are pandering to and it's not their customers! Watch out for the game they will play where they keep you in the dark about your auto claim questions (covered items in question) right up until the point they are ready to hand you your keys. The hope on their part being you won't have the either the balls or the energy to call them out on their shady business practices.. The last time I went there they never once called me with an update on my vehicle even after multiple calls on my end for updates on the situation and a promise from my ricks adjuster that they would inform me about a covered item from my insurance company. They never did however and ignored it completely! Even when the vehicle complete date went a week over their estimate they never called to inform me of any issues or reasons why it was delayed. It was "too bad" it's was just an estimate. It's a real "fuck the customer" attitude down there by the majority of the staff. A far cry from how it was many years ago when Rick was more involved.. They are now the McDonald's of Autobody's and your order is predictably never gonna be right! God forbid you stay on them and you call to get some clarity on the situation all you get is excuses and justifications as to why they don't need to keep you in the loop! Really bad business practices in that place and after a few bad experiences in a row, I wouldn't go back. Plenty of shops out there that would actually appreciate your business! Caveat emptor!

He always wants you to know how much he is doing for you and what a pain you are with your boat. I cannot stand this kind of self-referential person and for this reason I would just never return to buy a boat here. In the end I decided to get a new boat because dealing with this place is so misery inducing and the owner is just too much. You must know that if you buy a boat you need a strong dealer to back you up and with A&S you have the opposite. Run don't walk.

(The beast does 59MPH at 5900rpm - Redline is 6000) Massive pulling torque too for skiers) Having been boating for over 40 years and having owned multiple boats, I have much experience regarding overall performance, quality & related customer service. I'd like to say the sales experience was top notch. Having spent about 10 hours with the new boat the thing exceeds all expectations. The motor is a torque machine, a beast and so quiet! The handling is incredibly smooth and stable. The hull is the best I've ever experienced! Overall quality of hardware, accessories and trim are excellent. During the sales process the entire staff (Sales, Parts, Service) was excellent. Everyone was highly communicative via email, phone & text. Very easy to talk to real people who actually care and return calls in the most courteous and professional way. One special event that occurred right after delivery was I "short turned" the trailer and gouged the side of my brand new boat! Ughhh. I went crawling back to A&S expecting to be treated like a burden, having committed such a "freshman" move. Was I ever wrong. Both the owner, service manager and my salesman (Captain Joe) made me feel like a normal human being. They shared equally embarrassing personal stories which really put me at ease. They followed up by putting my boat as a top priority and, working late and extra hours hours (in the middle of their busiest season!!) returned my boat within days looking brand new! If I had been sent to a fiberglass shop I'd have waited 4-6 weeks missing much of the short New England Season. I could go on. In short, this dealer is straightforward, honest, hardworking and highly professional providing the best customer service I've ever received. I highly recommend considering A&S Boats for all your boating sale, service and parts needs. These people are true professionals under the excellent leadership of Mark, the owner.

He masterfully diagnosed the issue and fixed everything within an hour, he took the time to show me why he did what he did and explained to me what the battery installation company did wrong. It wasn't just one thing it was a couple of things. Anyway, then I asked him about the hot water heater and he helped me to get that going as well. We primed everything made sure it fired up, etc. The price was very reasonable. I just sense that Rick is a very decent and honest fellow who does a wonderful job. The promises of a car "tomorrow" ultimately turned into a week long ordeal. My car was secured on Thursday and was supposed to be ready for pickup Tuesday. Which turned to Wednesday the latest and finally ended up being the following Monday. I was told the delay was due to the fact that my vehicle needed new tires, but the vehicle was ultimately delivered with used tires. We wanted to trade in our car at the time of sale and put something towards the new car, but were told we could not unless we wanted to wait 2 more days. We had exactly 60 seconds to look at a car we didnt get to test drive because we were rushed because "there are a lot of people picking up today". I was told there were no differences in the cars we looked at and test drove and the car we ultimately ended up buying. This proved to be false. I was never told there was a minimum amount to finance, so when i went in with 2 checks, one was refused due to some undisclosed financing minimum. In face, I was specifically told " I don't care how you pay, its all the same to me" by the manager in the previous visit. My bottom line price was $30,000 OUT THE DOOR. taxes and fees included. When I asked Colin what my total was before I started signing, he told me "Right at 30." He lied right to my face as the price was $31,012. When we went into the finance managers office and started looking at paperwork we questioned why it wasn't a Hyundai Certified Pre owned as that's what we were told all along and the only reason we even went back to the dealer. The finance manager got up, walked out without a word when i threatened this was going to go a whole different way without a certification and we were going to walk away. He then came back with a few payment options all of which included additional warranty coverage like that's the only way the car would be certified. I was never given payment options that did not include an additional warranty. An ultimately $35,000 car didn't come with basics like floor mats or even a manual. Its been 10 days since I've contacted colin about this and have received no response. We were told 2 completely different figures about how much money was put into the car, by the same person and were told if they put anymore into the car it would be over the $30,000 out the door price. Which it ultimately was anyway. We were told when we bought a car, it would be completely gone over with us. This was also not done. So no tutorial, no test drive and no manual. How do you figure out the buttons on a self driving vehicle while you're driving without it being dangerous? A certified pre-owned Hyundai comes with 3 months of sirius radio and bluelink. Mine did not. As part of the 173 point inspection the car must include an owners manual, a quick start guide and owners handbook. mine did not include these. Under that same inspection, there is to be no visable damage to the front bumper or grille and mine is damaged on both and checked off as "no damage" "meets stds" The clock is supposed to be set to the right time. While this may seem like a simple stupid task,even this was not done leaving me questioning whether anything was done. My battery failed the inspection and says no good. It is supposed to include a Carfax specifically, but I had to pay $50 for my own when I got home and realized all the problems with the vehicle and service and sales departments. It was in this Carfax report we discovered it was not a one owner car, it was a 3 year, 36,000 mile lease, which was never disclosed. I was charged for vin etching on a vehicle that was already $700 over my budget. When i called Peter Sarro the general manager and explained my many concerns, he said " are you done? can i talk now? you've been talking for 20 minutes." i expressed that i thought he wanted to hear all of my concerns and that i could see he was not the right person to talk to to try to rectify the situation. I gave him a chance to rectify the situation and that was a kindness, and he pretty much laughed in my face and offered a manual. I thanked him for his time and told him to have a great day and then went over his head. You will get nowhere with these people I have escalated this case to Hyundai Motor America Customer Care and they are NOT happy. I do have to mention Colin was wonderful and went above and beyond until the moment he received our check. That's when the communication changed, the effort stopped and everything was different. The no pressure, upfront pricing and transparency they claim to have as standards are a joke and they do none of those things. We were pressured, lied to about the price and not told so many things.
