This place was a great! If you're staying at the hotel next door (Home2 Suites by Hilton Ocean City Bayside), it's like a 2-minute walk from the hotel door. Nice and conveniently close! I figured coming in January would mean not-so-crowded, but no! On a Friday night, this place was hopping and there were only a few open tables in the overflow room. Our waitress was very friendly and quick as she could be with so many customers. The inside of the main area was crowded and noisy; it's a pub, after all. They also sell a lot of local goods, including some of their sauces. Okay food. Ahem. GET THE LONGBOARD WINGS. If you have any appreciation for wings, you will love these. There's a reason they've been awarded Best Wings in Ocean City several years running. Their correctly named Addiction Sauce is the star, and the blue cheese and bacon dust take you right up to the edge of "this is too much" without crossing that line. Would absolutely get these again. My wife got the Island Frachos appetizer for her meal. It's basically the most insane loaded fries with your typical nacho toppings. I went for the rockfish "Catch of the Day." It was well-cooked and the side of green beans and baby potatoes were a nice accompaniment. I do wish there was more to the sides, otherwise the fish was overpowering. I also felt like they skimped on the lemon-caper sauce, so the dish was overall just needing more. There's an impressive drink selection. I went for the "New Fashioned," which was an orange-y take on the Old Fashioned. A little sweet, but overall not bad. My wife went for something tropical. The desserts looked good, but we were so full. Overall, pretty solid dining experience. Would eat here again. read more

One of my favorite places in Ocean City! They now have enclosed outdoor seating and a beautiful surfer vibe inside to enjoy while trying to pick your favorite thing from their delightful menu. Every time I go, I love what I order. This time my mom and I ordered the Smashburger tacos with an orange crush. It came with fresh made chips and a corn salsa. DeLish. The restaurant is dog friendly on their patio; which is heated and is perfect for dog owners that want or need to take their dog with them during off season visits. Had the asparagus and green bean as starters and salmon blt & mahi tacos as the main. All of the food was so good and I'm still thinking about the salmon blt tacos and asparagus. Everyone we met during the visit was nice and lovely. They even provided bacon and a bowl of water my pup . What I appreciated the most was the waitress realized that my dog gets nervous each time she approaches and switched side when placing items on the table. A wonderful variety of foods on the menu! Even though it looked full, we were seated within 5 minutes. We went there originally to order cream of crab soup, which was fabulous! Two of us ordered different burgers and the other ordered breaded fish tacos....all enjoyable with different sides. The best things for us is that we have two dogs and it was a beautiful day to be seated on the deck with plenty of room. I wondered if there was any treat suitable for the dogs. The waiter helped with two suggestions. The restaurant actually provides a couple small slices of bacon to the dogs when first seated, which is great for dogs when they first come because they smell food and want to eat. The dogs loved the bacon! Then when I was looking to order something that the dogs would like as well, the waiter said they make a kiddie size burger that are served to the dogs! We split one up between the two dogs, though we were asked if we needed one or two. The dogs thoroughly enjoyed the hamburger, plus they each were served a large bowl of water. A made for tourists kinda place. Staff were polite and responsive but no one seemed particularly happy. We requested a booth but were placed at a high traffic end table with a view of a cluttered work station. In our group the pork in a BBQ sandwich was tough, yep clearly tough. Our group crab-cake connoisseur said it was one of the worst crab-cake he ever had. The highlight was a smash burger taco. Too, the french fries were notably tasty after adding a sprinkle of salt. The steak i had here was seriously one of the best meals i have ever had. It was perfectly cooked to the exact way i asked for it and the garlic butter on top added so much flavor to the meal. The potato's on the side were cooked to perfection you could tell that they had been roasted to perfection by the taste. They were crispy in the outside and nice and gory in the middle. The drink i had was alright it was a lemonade mocktail of some sort, it was a bit sweet. The only complaint i have is the restaurant was so hot. It was hotter inside than it was outside. Our waiter was very nice but only came around twice and didn't really check up on us. If you want to attend here just know the dress code is not casual, dresses and button ups were seen everywhere. Stopped in tonight for Easter dinner. We had another terrific meal!! Our server Whitney highly attentive and a terrific waitress. I was part of a party for seven but the service could've been for just two the way she treated everyone of us. Most of us had the fish special entrée and the sauce is out of this world. Whitney said the chef was there and she would be sure to let her know how much we enjoyed it. One of the few times I didn't see Rick. That man is always around even buses tables. It is a great place. Truly love this place. We visit every time we're in OC and it NEVER disappoints. It was a quiet late lunch before what was likely a pretty busy off season evening the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the staff, as always, were in great spirits. I got the Southwest chicken club and my sister got the French dip. Both were fantastic and the fries are still the best in the business. My elderly mother and I had just arrived in town and were both desiring some excellent seafood choices. We were both very pleased with the dishes available here. To start our meal, I ordered the Brie and Drunken Nuts for a new taste experience for my mother - she loved it. For the entree, I had the seafood pasta (fresh Shrimp, scallops & lobster). The place was packed and lively with chatter, so we knew we were in for a great dinner. For starters, we had the Shrimp & Scallops, which was two shrimp and three scallops. It was absolutely delicious and so fresh. For my main, I had the Jerk Mahi tacos. They were really good, I was disappointed the order came with two instead of three tacos - but the fish portions were large, to be fair! My fiancée ordered the Mushroom, Onion, and Blue burger and loved it. The fries were sooo good, the kind of thick crust fries with pillowy potato inside. For dessert, we had the Snickers cheesecake and it was just as amazing as it sounded. Overall, we had a great dinner with delicious food and a bottle of wine, and it didn't break the bank. We made a reservation for dinner, which you absolutely need if you want to visit prime time or during happy hour. Everything was hot and delicious. Our server was always there when we needed her and kitchen very efficient. It feels like a surf shack inside with soaring ceiling and surfboards around. We enjoyed this so much we wanted to come back the next day. We couldn't get a reservation during happy hour the next day, but took a chance on getting a bar seat. We waited about 10 minutes and 2 bar seats opened up. Excellent specials and the bar service was as great as the table service the night before. I got wings and a salad takeout. The Caesar salad was 5 romaine leaves with Parmesan sprinkled on top. The wings had a good taste but were as sweet as candy. It's as though I ate a bag of Starbursts. Apparently they've won best wings in Ocean City. I guess folks really like sugar around here. Like, really, really enjoy sugar. I hear the #2 best rated wings just had maple syrup poured over them. We stopped here a few times while we were on vacation for drinks. It's a cute place in a plaza near a lot of shops and hotels in a busy area of town. It was close to our hotel, they have a dog friendly patio and 2-1 happy hour everyday from 5-6 so it was perfect for us. They have a large cocktail menu and we were able to try some new drinks here. We sampled perfect, it was literally a perfect margarita, the mojito-Rita which was a mojito with tequila instead of rum, it was interesting and a different twist on the mojito. The other time we went for happy hour and tried the orange and strawberry lemonade crushes. The crushes were a new drink to us but seem to be a local favorite. They are refreshing and literally taste like different flavors of crush brand pop. They are flavorful, and not too sweet. It's the perfect amount of sugar to get you through the hot weather. If you are in the area I definitely recommend you try one! The first time we went we also tried the chips and guacamole. It was pretty good. The chips were thick and salty, enough to stand up to he guac, which was thick and fresh. The staff was very friendly and sweet. They offered our dog water and dog treats or bacon. Shrimp tacos very good, Queso dip and chips were watery, dripped all over the counter when eating chips. Steak tacos were very limited. Restaurant decided to close early so they turned TVs off - while 12 customers were in restaurant bar area and had just ordered a drink. Wait staff sat at bar drinking while customers were present. My husband, our dog, and I had a wonderful visit! Every time we come to Ocean City, Longboard is a must-stop for us, and this visit was no exception. Tricia made our already enjoyable experience even more special. She went above and beyond by making sure our dog had bacon and water during our meal.
