Cool little restaurant conveniently located near the Ron Jon shop. We were greeted and seated right away during lunchtime. Our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout our time there. I ordered the steak fajita tacos and was not disappointed. The steak was cooked just right and I really enjoyed the bean and corn side. They even had Mexican coke there! Absolutely loved our dinner at Longboard! The staff were all incredibly friendly and our server was great and attentive. The place was packed and lively with chatter, so we knew we were in for a great dinner. For starters, we had the Shrimp & Scallops, which was two shrimp and three scallops. It was absolutely delicious and so fresh. For my main, I had the Jerk Mahi tacos. They were really good, I was disappointed the order came with two instead of three tacos - but the fish portions were large, to be fair! My fiancée ordered the Mushroom, Onion, and Blue burger and loved it. The fries were sooo good, the kind of thick crust fries with pillowy potato inside. For dessert, we had the Snickers cheesecake and it was just as amazing as it sounded. Overall, we had a great dinner with delicious food and a bottle of wine, and it didn't break the bank. Service was okay, Elegantini Martini was marginal, blue cheese olives were lacking, very small martini glass. Shrimp tacos very good, Queso dip and chips were watery, dripped all over the counter when eating chips. Steak tacos were very limited. Restaurant decided to close early so they turned TVs off - while 12 customers were in restaurant bar area and had just ordered a drink. Wait staff sat at bar drinking while customers were present. We made a reservation for dinner, which you absolutely need if you want to visit prime time or during happy hour. Everything was hot and delicious. Our server was always there when we needed her and kitchen very efficient. It feels like a surf shack inside with soaring ceiling and surfboards around. We enjoyed this so much we wanted to come back the next day. We couldn't get a reservation during happy hour the next day, but took a chance on getting a bar seat. We waited about 10 minutes and 2 bar seats opened up. Excellent specials and the bar service was as great as the table service the night before. My husband, our dog, and I had a wonderful visit! Every time we come to Ocean City, Longboard is a must-stop for us, and this visit was no exception. Tricia made our already enjoyable experience even more special. She went above and beyond by making sure our dog had bacon and water during our meal. She also helped us celebrate both our babymoon and my husband's birthday by surprising us with a brownie that was absolutely incredible. It was hands down the best brownie I've ever had. We truly can't say enough good things about this restaurant and highly recommend that everyone make a visit! read more

came here with my husband, dog and baby while we were waiting for our airbnb to be open! we were sat outside in a cute patio area we started with the crab flat bread, got fish tacos and fries. i also got a frozen mojito frozen mojito was a 10/10 must get. i could drink that all day crab flat bread 1/10, not enough crab, very flimsy and just looked like a lunchable. not worth the money the fish tacos were OK, needed more flavor, i asked for hot sauce and they had a lot of options which was nice. fries were crispy and hot all in all, this place was decent. good service, cute restaurant but the food and pricing didn't match up for me. read more

I got wings and a salad takeout. The Caesar salad was 5 romaine leaves with Parmesan sprinkled on top. The wings had a good taste but were as sweet as candy. It's as though I ate a bag of Starbursts. Apparently they've won best wings in Ocean City. I guess folks really like sugar around here. Like, really, really enjoy sugar. I hear the #2 best rated wings just had maple syrup poured over them. Maybe they were having an off day, but i was not impressed. We dropped by after wandering around the boardwalk. We were all starving and would have ate almost anything. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Probably a mistake on my part but I love bbq. A lot of the pulled pork was still cold. It felt like they reheated it in a plastic bag, "pulled" it out, and plopped it on my sandwich. It had a good taste, but was not at an adequate level of warmth. Even worse, they forgot the coleslaw that was supposed to come on it. I would have mentioned something, but didn't realize it until we were leaving. Serving sizes were small. We left the restaurant and I was still hungry. I can't remember the last time this happened. I had a pear a few minutes after we returned to our hotel room. We also opted to try the brie and glazed pecans. Not my cup of tea but it was good. Pricey at almost $16, and they only offer a tiny loaf of bread to go with it. It wasn't nearly enough as we had lots of brie and pecans left with no bread to accompany them. I will say they do a great job with their fries and pasta salad. The fries are deep fried which gives them an amazing crunch that I love. The pasta salad was fresh and had an amazing dressing that was super tasty. read more

We come to OC once a month in the offseason and Longboard is always the first stop for lunch. Always eat at the bar with great friendly service by Rachel. The cheese dip (with warm chips) is probably the best I've had in the mid Atlantic and Tonya starts getting them as soon as she sees us walk through the door. My favorite is the Al Pastor tacos (with flour tortilla) but the jerk chicken and fish tacos are also pretty good (fish tacos are huge). Fantastic food and service but gets pretty packed during the summer. read more

My husband and I have been to Longboard many times and for the most part love it. They recently expanded and have a little store and a bit more room for the bar . We had a very attentive waitress Jennifer? She was on top of everything! We started with cocktails since we're on vacation. I got the Cobb salad which was great very fresh and beautifully presented . We stopped here a few times while we were on vacation for drinks. It's a cute place in a plaza near a lot of shops and hotels in a busy area of town. It was close to our hotel, they have a dog friendly patio and 2-1 happy hour everyday from 5-6 so it was perfect for us. They have a large cocktail menu and we were able to try some new drinks here. We sampled perfect, it was literally a perfect margarita, the mojito-Rita which was a mojito with tequila instead of rum, it was interesting and a different twist on the mojito. The other time we went for happy hour and tried the orange and strawberry lemonade crushes. The crushes were a new drink to us but seem to be a local favorite. They are refreshing and literally taste like different flavors of crush brand pop. They are flavorful, and not too sweet. It's the perfect amount of sugar to get you through the hot weather. If you are in the area I definitely recommend you try one! The first time we went we also tried the chips and guacamole. It was pretty good. The chips were thick and salty, enough to stand up to he guac, which was thick and fresh. The staff was very friendly and sweet. They offered our dog water and dog treats or bacon. My experience was mediocre! Came here for dinner on a Sunday night. I was impressed that our 90 minute wait was only 10 minutes. I definitely think this is more of a lunch spot. We ordered three cocktails, New Fashioned, Billini-tini, and the White Cranberry Cosmopolitan. For appetizers we got the cream of crab soup (very watery and bland), the asparagus (fried and served with a delicious dipping sauce), and the star of the evening, the green beans. For entree we got the surf and turf tacos, the scallop entree, and the Buddha bowl. For the most part everything was just okay. I hear the burgers here are outstanding so I'll have to come back to give one or the burgers a try. I was a bit disappointed that none of the staff said excuse when walking by. She also wasn't very friendly and made very little effort to ensure we were enjoying our dinner. This is not the experience I was expecting going out for a dinner that cost me about $100. Repeat trip to Longboard from last summer. Six of us went, all repeat customers. It is clean, it has good atmosphere, it is busy. We arrived on Labor Day with reservations a bit before Happy Hour began. They have two for one drinks from 5-6pm. We ordered the kitchen sink and green beans as appetizers. The beans were fried with Hoisin sauce and very good. The chips were fresh, guacamole was good, the queso was OK, and the salsa was like tomato soup. My wife loved her Old Fashioned drinks, my beer could have colder. Everyone ordered a variety of food. The two salmon BLT's, one with romaine for the shell, were reportedly very good. My wife enjoyed her burger and really liked the side of pasta salad. I think I am just a little more particular about my burger though. I suspect it was previously frozen and not fresh and it was dense, as if it was pressed. The lettuce, tomato and red onion were good. The fries had a good flavor but they were all stuck together though; if you picked up one, you instead had 3-6. Everyone else enjoyed the food and drinks, so we will be back. Mine was just OK. I will just have to remember not to order the burger and fries. I should mention that the waitress got everything correct and was pleasant. She just had too many tables and maybe that was why the drinks took a while and my beer was sweating profusely. read more
