After a very satisfying lunch here, we returned for dinner. Warning! Make a reservation... especially if you want to come on a Friday or Saturday night, but really, just make one no matter the occasion or time. They get really busy here and for good reason. On an island without many good food options, this place stands out. Nice atmosphere, plenty of options on the lunch or dinner menus, good portions, quality food and nice cocktails too. At this point, we've tried lunch, dinner, bringing the dog, no dog, burgers, tacos, their classic wings, shrimp with crab imperial, crab cakes and several cocktails and mocktails. Service was excellent during both of our visits and I really felt like they cared. The waitress, the one who brought our cocktails, the one who brought our food... everyone just gave off that vibe and had a passion for making customers happy. I particularly liked the "New Fashioned" cocktail, which was like an Old Fashioned with some Grand Marnier. Really tasty. My shrimp crown imperial was okay, but those shrimp on top of the tasty crab really needed some more char. They're supposed to be grilled shrimp, but tasted more like steamed. Overall though, awesome place to eat in a town that has few good options. After two visits and trying this much of the menu, Longboard has definitely earned a spot in our Ocean City rotation.

While visiting Ocean City, MD with my family, my husband searched for the best restaurants in town. He made the reservation (please make your reservation ahead of time, because the place is always full). We went on a Tuesday and were seated outside (while making your booking, you can choose where you want to be seated: inside or outside). The hosts were very nice. The place is clean and smells good. Our waiter was welcoming and polite. We ordered the Mexican street corn, the warm chips with the kitchen sink, their best-seller chicken wings, and 2 burgers. I must say, EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. This restaurant is so good that our last dinner was here. That night we ordered the Bonzai chicken wings (DELICIOUS), and chicken and steak tacos. We recommend this restaurant to the fullest.

OCEAN CITY, MD: At Longboard Cafe, our night felt like one of those evenings you wish you could bottle up. From the moment we stepped onto their fully enclosed, heated porch, the vibes were immaculate: cozy, warm, and super dog friendly all year long. Brie & Cocoa were living their best lives with complimentary bacon and their own water bowl. We dove into a lineup of favorites: * Brie & Drunken Nuts * Famous Wrinkled Green Beans * Island Crab Balls Every bite was a hit, and the service made the whole night feel effortless. Their full bar kept the good times flowing with delicious cocktails and a great list of crushes to choose from. If you are heading to OCMD, Longboard Cafe is a must‑visit, the perfect mix of great food, great people, and great energy.

Enjoying a wonderful few days in Ocean City MD, and found this wonderful restaurant. The staff were warm and welcoming and the decor was authentically beachy without being at all kitschy. The real star was the food! I ordered the Longboard Wings and my gosh they are fabulous perfectly cooked and sauced, sweet spicy but not too hot, served with celery and oh my the blue cheese! Let's just say if you like blue cheese you won't be disappointed. I ate every bit of it and was grateful for the wipes to help clean up afterwards. My husband got the burger with grilled pineapple which he also enjoyed. I decided to try one of their mocktails which was deliciously refreshing and helped make a special meal even better. Thank you Longboard Cafe! The only negative is that I'm completely spoiled for anyone else's wings!

I have been to longboards many times and it is a great stop after a day on the beach. They have everything you could want: sandwiches, tacos, salads, entrees, and great apps. I got the fresh fish and it was just ok. It needed more of a sauce rather than mango salsa. My husband got 2 pounds of wings as his dinner and loved every minute of it. The addiction wings are award winning for a reason. I did not order some of my favorites tonight, but are worth mentioning. The franchos, wrinkly green beans, and any of the wings. I often just order the franchos and wings to split with my husband as our entire meal. There is also great indoor and outdoor seating options. When they expanded and put the bar on a different side, it opened the restaurant up a lot and made it so much more enjoyable. Very kid friendly with good kids meals. Nothing fancy like some places try to do. They stick to kraft Mac n cheese and white bread. Your kids will be happy too.

While I vacation, we decided to try somewhere new and I have to say, Longboard did not disappoint. I got the Longboard wings, which are their award winning flavor! I then ordered the Shrimp Crown Imperial. It was so filling. The portion of crab was huge. My parents ordered pan seared scallops and the seafood pasta. Our server was attentive and helpful. We sat on the enclosed deck which worked because it was such a beautiful night. It appeared to be able to be multi-purpose through fall for outdoor dining.

I have been here a couple times so far and that is not enough. Sadly, I live over two hours away so only get in during my ocean city trips which I wish were way more often. Last summer was my first visit after seeing some friends recommend and following them on social media. We had their longboard wings, veggie wrap and jerk chicken wrap. Everything was DELICIOUS! On Wednesday of this week I stopped in for lunch with my dog and we sat on the 'boardwalk' which is what they call part of their outdoor section. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They offer a water bowl and a complimentary piece of bacon for the pups. My dog was thrilled as you can see by one of the pics =) On this visit I tried the wrinkled green been app and the St. Croix chopped salad. Both were very good. My dog ordered the kids burger plain with no bun. He had no complaints! I stole his fries which were yummy. Luke was our server on my most recent visit. He provided excellent service! He even helped me gain some more insight on bringing a large party there later this year. He got me in touch with one of the managers and I am currently coordinating with them. Overall, this is one of my favorite restaurants in OC and can't wait to come back in a couple months!

Had to make reservations to get in, only had outdoor seating available, because of the popularity of the place. First good sign. Then our server took our drink order and suggested a different drink, which was great. Then when we ordered our meals, our server again suggested other options, because she knows what customers rave about, or aren't fully satisfied with. Our food came out and we were wowed by the presentation, the quality and especially the taste. The Chilean sea bass practically melted in my mouth. Would definitely recommend! And our server Trisha we will request again on our next reservation.

We visited the Longboard Cafe on a Friday night in February and ate in the "enclosed patio" space since the indoor space was full (yes, in February!). It was a bit chilly whenever someone opened the door and took a little getting used to. Still, the meal was very much worth the price of admission and service was impeccable. We shared the Shrimp Quesadilla to start. Delicious and loaded with shrimp! Then we had the Pan Seared Scallops and the Shrimp Crown Imperial. We'll be back!

I met some girlfriends at Longboard Cafe today for a mid-week lunch. I booked it because of the central location in O.C., their big & varied menu, and the fact that I could make an online reservation. They open at 11:00 am. I arrived about 15 minutes early for my noon reservation, and only a few tables were filled. But by noon, the place was packed, with several large parties. This place is really popular. The server was very nice and the food was excellent. I enjoyed the Chicken Caesar wrap. The pasta salad side was quite good, and a huge portion. Others had the cream of crab soup, a BLT, the mushroom blue cheese burger and other sides like coleslaw. One really unique thing was the asparagus--it was coated and fried like a tempura dish, but it was delicious!

Cream of crab soup was rich and filled with just enough chunks of crab meat. The Baja fish taco with flour tortilla was not bad. The only flaw was that the sauce they put on it made the fish a bit soggy on the majority of the deep fried fish. And the batter was a bit bitter. The citrus shrimp taco with flour was good. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. The toppings and seasoning blended very well. The cabbage gave the taco a great crunchy texture with each bite. The tacos were accompanied with chips. Alex our wait staff had a pleasant and friendly personality. He was also able explain the menu items in a helpful and informative manner. Imani another staff was very personable. I like the atmosphere. A upscale casual dinner with a beachy feel.

Our main motivation for visiting was to see Jordan and Cowan, both of whom previously worked at Off The Hook in Bethany Beach. Jordan noticed us first and came over to say hello and share an update, and Cowan followed shortly after to do the same. I enjoyed two Sazeracs on the rocks for $10 each; unique to Hooked, this iconic New Orleans cocktail is a spirit-forward blend of Elijah Craig rye whiskey, aromatic bitters, a sugar cube, and an absinthe rinse, finished with a bright lemon twist. We also shared the happy hour wood-fired grilled oysters Reggiano with butter, garlic, blackening parmesan cheese, and salt for $19, though they tasted very salty. Additionally, I had the happy hour lobster roll on a toasted buttered brioche roll for $21, substituting the french fries with a side of coleslaw. It tasted quite similar to the lobster roll at Off The Hook in Bethany Beach. I finished my meal with a happy hour draft Evo Lot 3 beer for $6. Our bartender, Jon L., served us very well throughout the visit. The total bill was $128 excluding gratuity, which featured a 3% credit card surcharge of $3.57. After applying a $50 gift letter discount, the final bill was reduced down to $81. We all agreed that we will certainly return to visit Jordan and Cowan again.

The Chef looks familiar, I think I tasted his food before at one of the Celebrity Chefs Brunches for Meals on Wheels. I remember it being fantastic. There is outside dining but I booked inside as we weren't sure how warm it would be in May. It turned out to be a cold and windy weekend so we were very glad to be inside, plus the outside tables have a view of the highway. What a cute little restaurant inside; it is very tiny. We were crammed into a table in the corner. It was difficult to get past the other diners at their tables, and we could hear all the conversations around us. Every table was packed, I can't imagine what it's like in this room during the busy summer. Noelle was our server and she was amazing; very knowledgeable and friendly. She described the homemade bread service to us, and we ordered 2 Coastalpolitans which were made with Tito's Vodka, lime, soju, St. Germaine, and cranberry. They were sweet, and tart, and bright, and delicious. We decided on crab toast instead of the bread, and Noelle said we made the right choice. Wow, she was correct. The crab toast blew us away. It was chunks of crab on fluffy, crispy milk bread with pickled scallions, radish, lemon aioli, kelp powder, and lime. So beautiful and so delectable! RJ ordered the Pork Chop, which Noelle said One Coastal is known for, and I ordered the NJ Day Boat Scallops. We had no words. We sat there and quietly enjoyed every bite while listening to the surrounding tables, and knew we found a maybe not so hidden gem. My scallops were delicate and buttery and sweet, and melted in my mouth. RJ said his pork chop was tender and juicy, and the best he ever had. That is saying something. We finished with bread pudding because who doesn't love a good bread pudding, and we like to try it whenever we see one that looks interesting. It was salty and sweet and just so perfect. What One Coastal lacks in space and view, it makes up for with food and service. What a delightful place, and Noelle was a pleasure and a joy. We will definitely return to try all the other things and be lucky to sit anywhere inside or out.

We sat out on the patio and it was very spacious. Overall still a great place tucked away in a corner of a shopping center.

My friend ordered the steak and crab cake, and those crab cakes were INCREDIBLE! She was kind enough to let me try them, and wow. The steak was fair, but the crab cakes were the standout. I ordered a special featuring sea scallops with succotash (corn and green beans) and grit cakes--three gigantic ones! The scallops were beautifully cooked and practically melted like butter. The flavors were light and delicate, which really let the scallops shine. The portion was generous, too. I couldn't even finish one of the grit cakes, but I definitely made sure to eat my fill of the corn and scallops! My other friend had the crab cake dinner and absolutely loved it as well. Service was delightful. She was attentive and friendly. Such a fun little place to discover! I'd definitely go back to try more of their seafood.
